We had a specific vision: a unique piece with subtle pink stones set into a hidden halo. Getting the exact color right turned out to be tricky, but instead of just settling, they worked with us and swapped out the original stones for ones that matched exactly what we were going for. That kind of patience and commitment to getting it perfect is rare. They also let us use our own diamond, which a lot of places won't do, and they built the setting around it beautifully. The finished ring came out even better than we imagined. Their prices are extremely fair too, which is extremely refreshing compared to some other shops in the area. Finally everyone in the store is fantastic and so nice. You never feel rushed or pressured, just genuinely taken care of. I feel they did a great job. I do not know a ton about jewelry, and I don't keep up on jewelry pricing. That said, I think they were probably reasonable on their prices. The customer service was great, and they stood behind their work when one piece had to be remounted after a resizing mishap. The end result was that my wife and I were both very happy with what we bought, and we would go there again.

I then received a worthless $250 "credit" for turning the stone over for cash or credit. Turns out it was valid only if I purchased at least $500 worth of merchandise. No idea what Mitch received for that stone. When I then came in to have the chain of a necklace shortened, the "credit" was worthless and I was charged $25 to shorten a chain which broke before I arrived home. Unless you come to Royal Gems for a really big ticket item, don't expect Mitch to care about serving you in a professional manner.
