I paid $100 for a Groupon for a Keratin hair treatment for my daughter. She has had it done before and $100 is a great deal. When I called the salon, the lady who answered (who I think was also the stylist - she said her name once and I think it started with an S but not sure )seemed less than thrilled that I had already purchased a Groupon. She said they would offer that deal for anyone the first time but I had already purchased it. I wouldn't have known about the salon if I hadn't seen the Groupon. She was a little curt on the phone but I made the appointment several weeks in advance. I had to reschedule the next week because of my daughters schedule. There was a lot of confusion because she couldn't find the appointment. Apparently they had put it in the wrong day. But she found it and we changed the date. We arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early. There were 2 ladies there and they were very pleasant. However they said our stylist was not there. Apparently one of them texted her. Our appt was at 2:00. By 2:10 there was no sign of her. The receptionist called her and she said she would be there shortly. At 2:15 she came in, glanced in our direction and said really rudely that she was sorry she was late BUT she had texted me the day before and I didn't respond to confirm so she cancelled the appt . She was full of attitude. I never got a text from her and silly me I thought I still had an appt. She basically scolded me and told me it was my fault she was late. She said - Weren't you going out of town? I have no idea what she's talking about. I don't even know if she has my cell number so I don't know how she would have texted me. Very unprofessional. It seemed like she had left for the day (it was Friday) and she was not thrilled about having to come back. If I hadn't already paid for the Groupon I would have left. I tried to make the best of it. She sat my daughter in the chair and a couple of minutes in yelled over to me very rudely - You know it's an extra $35 for thick hair. I said no. She said its on the coupon. It does say it's extra for long hair but not thick hair. Keep in mind that this is an 18 year old light brunette girl with very slightly wavy hair. Not exactly difficult to straighten. She asked if I still wanted to do it. I said I didn't exactly have a choice since I already paid $100. Then she kind of scolded my daughter several times because she had hairspray in her hair. Isn't that what the clarifying shampoo is for? Then she attempted awkward small talk for a couple of hours after making us both mad. Her keratin treatment was good as far as I can tell so far. However, we will never ever go back to that salon. I wanted to treat my daughter to a fun hair treatment. It was the most uncomfortable couple of hours I have spent. At the end she scanned the Groupon and said - That will be $35. I handed her $40 and walked out. I have NEVER stiffed anyone on a tip before but I have also never had a salon experience like that before. I know a $5 tip is horrible for a treatment that takes a couple of hours. I struggled with the decision to tip or not to tip. However, they offered a groupon to get people in the door and clearly were not thrilled about it. I felt like I paid for the treatment and the tip was for service. The service was terrible. This woman needs a serious attitude adjustment.

I booked a partial, and asked the stylist to just give me a refresh on my blonde and bring it up. I left the salon looking more brown than I came in (I attached a photo). Not only was it not what I wanted, but it was patchy and uneven. I DM'ed the stylist and she had me come in a few days after. We talked about the miscommunication, and I felt like she didn't even listen to the tone or placement I wanted. The new blonde she put in DESTROYED my hair, was patchy, left bands, and was a completely different color than my ends. I thought about not leaving a bad review because they did give me a refund, but my hair is so damaged the new stylist that fixed it was appalled. I've never had this happen to me. Definitely won't be back, and now I have to spend even more money trying to repair my hair. Edit after owner response: I was pretty shocked to see the response left by one of the owners. No, no one followed up with me. I had to call after my second appointment and request a refund. The only reason they needed up giving me a refund is because I had a graduation a few days after and there was a salon closer to me that could fix it. Originally they told me they typically don't offers refunds because they want the opportunity to fix it. I'm sorry, but in my opinion, if I've been to a Salon twice in a week and they still continue to mess up my hair, I'd rather go somewhere else. Not only that, but the amount of money I had to pay to get my hair fixed was considerably more because I had to pay for a color correction. My hair was also really damaged, and the new stylist was hesitant to even put color on it. The amount of money I've paid in treatments is ridiculous. Super disappointed by this response. I feel like an honest review was needed so that way you can take the appropriate steps to reprimand the stylist and provide appropriate training.
