Great Mexican food and always great service. The carne asada is the best. I love sitting in the bar to watch a game.

We've lived in Bonney Lake for years and this is our go-to Mexican food and comfort food spot. The staff is always so friendly, the dishes are consistent and I always know I'm going to like what I've ordered. I don't think we've ever had a bad experience here. We've tried all the other spots locally and while a few of them are good for some things, this is our consistent for us and our family close by. read more

Used to eat here on a regular basis, always with a few friends or a small group however food quality and service has gone down hill. Drinks are over priced and watered down. Not the same. Will stick with La Central up the road better tasting food and way better staff. read more

My husband & I went here to try their mole sauce, ordered 2 enchiladas w/mole. It was very dry, barely any sauce. Took the other one home, asked the waitress if I could have a small container of mole sauce. Her response was I could purchase 12 oz......after I already told her it was dry. Disappointing! I was very underwhelmed by this restaurant. It is a nice location and huge though. So it might be great for parties or large gatherings. The food was safe, not spicy like it should be. I came to eat Mexican food and it was very bland. We didn't try any of the featured dishes which might explain our less then expected foodie experience. The staff was very friendly and quick but seating the two of us in an area with whinny, loud children was inconsiderate and not enjoyable. We weren't asked if the seating was okay or acceptable. I don't like to be picky, but I would have preferred to sit in the bar where there is no children. read more

Went in for a pickup order and my order wasn't ready so I thought. There was an older gentleman at the counter engrossed in a conversation with a young lady. I greeted him and gave him the name on my to go order. He casually looked and said they were still working on it. I stepped away to wait and thought there was a bag there he never looked at and the DoorDash app said it was ready. He left the counter with the young lady and another young lady came to the counter. I asked her about my order and she looked at the one that was sitting there when I arrived. 7 minutes! The food wasn't very good or my standards are a bit high. Just got take out from Bonney Lake Mazatlan- been enjoying them since they opened in this town- and it was disgustingly burnt. When I called, they said 'Thanks for letting us know'. They don't care, they don't take accountability. That's what you get for ordering our food. They are off my takeout list for good. This is a huge restaurant. It seriously is. It's so big that you don't know how many people are actually inside the building. My husband said there's a patio outside the bar, too, so it's also attracting more people when it's warm / cool outside. We went inside and were seated quickly. We ordered our meals from combo menu. The food is tasty. 5/5. The wait staff should have come by to fill up our water for us, but they did at least come by to check if we'd need anything, so I guess that was still good customer service. My husband's Pepsi was forgotten until he had to bring it up again. 8/10. read more

Upon walking in, the restaurant is HUGE. I'm not sure If this was something else before but the layout is actually pretty nice. They have several large rooms with tables which gives you a bit of a private vibe. And the restaurant is very clean. That is where is ends. Everything goes down hill from there. Before I get to the food let's start with the service. Our waiter never smiled at us one time. I thanked him repeatedly for everything and he didn't even acknowledge it. He came by exactly three times. 1)drink order 2)food order 3)drop food off. Never saw him again. Someone else brought out check so we could pay. We ordered: *angus steak salad. This was tougher than shoe leather. My husband couldn't even eat the meat. The lettuce wasn't cut into bite size pieces and he had to take two bites of each huge chunk of lettuce. So we paid $20 for leathery steak that wasn't edible and large pieces of lettuce. (But the waiter never came back to check on us so leather salad it is) 0/5 *Kids enchilada creama. This had good flavor but again the chef must be cooking for the jolly green giant because my "shredded chicken" was one large piece of breast. Had this been for a child I can't imagine them trying to eat it. I ended up eating the tortilla and beans and leaving the rest. 2/5 *loaded nachos. These were ok, but the ground beef was too much. Half the amount would have been so much better because the chips just got soggy while sitting at the table. 3/5 *shredded chicken taco salad. My son ordered shredded chicken taco salad. He was brought ground beef. I even was charged extra for the chicken and yet didn't get chicken. The lettuce again was giant pieces and lacked flavor. 1/5 You know when you walk out of a restaurant with a couple boxes and then go home and throw away the left overs and make more food there's a problem. First the positive, we made reservations for a party of 6 on a busy Friday. We were seated promptly and received excellent service. The food however, not so good. While I normally scarf an entire basket of chips, I ate 1 chip and quit. Beans and rice had no flavor. The chicken must have been used for stock, it too had no flavor. I ordered a chicken burrito and enchilada, the only difference between the two was one had sauce pored over it. My wife's fajitas arrived on a cold plate and had long since lost there sizzle. I was mostly impressed with how fast the service was. It was relatively busy, we had a group of 8. Brought drinks within minutes of ordering and got our food all at the same time, and it was fast enough I was shocked. They new the family we went with so they had remembered their normal orders (which i always think is the sweetest thing) Margs were good, strong. Prices were decent. 6 months ago I would have recommended this place. The last two times we ate there, the food just wasn't good. No flavor. Better off going to any street taco stand. The front hostess was completely useless when helping us on our take out order. She was good at saying I don't know though to us and the person ahead in line. The greeting was fantastic, warm and welcome. We were sat fairly quickly, and drinks were immediately taken. The service was absolutely amazing, always had our drink cups refilled within it seemed seconds after one of us was finished with one. We had a party of 9, and ordered 2 Carne Asada, 1 with Jalapenõs, Fish Tacos, Chicken Fajitas, Veggie Fajitas, Chicken Tenders, Kids Bean Burrito. Everything came out perfectly cooked, no issues anywhere. Our waiter forgot to put in the order for the Chicken Tenders, we reminded him, and when the order was ready and he brought it out, he expressed his sincerest apologies and said he could comp the Chicken Tenders! We were driving by and decided to stop and try this place out. First impression, Old casino! We walked into what looked like a dirty motel lobby, but were greeted swiftly by a very nice woman. They seated us very quick and took drink orders very quickly. Now for the food!!!!! A couple of us ordered the Tortilla soup, $17.99 a bowl. Taste like hot water and chicken, completely bland with what seemed to be a whole bag of garbage tortilla chips. After taking out all of the chips for 5 minutes and adding salt and a half bowel of salsa I decided to keep eating eat. Bad choice on my part. My brother got the fajita plate (asada). Again, very bland and boring. To some it up, the food was garbage, the place had a dirty feel and old burnt out vibe. Never again for my family. We had lunch today and visited with a friend. The food was great, as usual. The staff was great. The restaurant has great ADA access. We charged the meals on credit card. When we got home, we got a call that someone had tried to use the credit card for $399.00 at Walmart. We called the bank and no charges had been made and the account was secure. If you use your credit card here and someone call, don't give anyone your information and call your bank. I called Mazatlan and we talked to Joel, the manager. He didn't care because the meal charge cleared. He hung up on us. read more

I order chicken Taco's and I got steak taco's and they didn't hear me correctly not the great service if you can't take the guest order correctly. Just finished having our meal, food was good. What gives you guys the two stars is the following- *Busser walked by and accidentally sprayed cleaning solution on my mother and inside her Margarita. -Busser acted like nothing happened until I confronted her and then apologized but did not get her a new drink *Its a 110* outside and no one came and refilled our drinks once.... My plate arrived loaded with rice, beans, 3 fish tacos, a cabbage something salad. Rice and Beans? Great. The fish tacos? Not so great. This joint is great for families, and lovers of carne Asada. Their chips are pretty toasty, they taste pretty fresh. The shrimp appetizer comes with tons of onions, so beware if you're not into that. This place isn't so bad especially for Bonney Lake. Definitely better than Mr. jalapeños. The staff was great came here about two times and it wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. They have a bar area as well. I haven't been able to try the place out yet since my other half hasn't been with me when I come which means I'm the DD. ( yup don't drink and drive peoples!!) I'm sorry I haven't been able to take a picture by the time the food comes I'm starving and I dig in before I remember to actually take one. So as you can see the food is pretty decent I enjoyed the refried beans a lot the rice was ok but just a little dry. The rest was good I had a chimichanga and a enchilada the chimichanga was huge yeah i definitely couldn't finish my meal. Portions are a good size. I would recommend this place one of these days I will have my own DD and I can try out a margarita or two. Next time I go I will try harder to make sure I take a picture of the food. read more

I don't understand what is with all the negative reviews. This place is awesome! By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. Azteca sadly is not what it used to be and has gone downhill. Puerto Vallarta is hit and miss depending on location. These guys are great very consistent. I always get the beef enchiladas and a large Blended lime margarita. Some of the best Mexican food and drinks I've ever had. Recently recommended this to my coworker and he took his family and they agreed it's the best Mexican restaurant they have eaten at. We ordered through DoorDash, my Chile verde burrito was not very good, salty, I couldn't eat it. My daughter had street tacos plate, she was happy and satisfied with her meal.
