Before signing the Settlement Affidavit I emailed him to confirm that my back benefits and back awards for my disability. He replied that I would in fact receive $80,000. Yesterday he emailed me to inform me that he had received his attorney fees and that my check had been lost in the mail. He also told me that I would now only be getting $47k instead of $80,000. He and one of the partners of Starr- Gern had argued with me some months earlier to take a very small offer from the insurance Co. I told them both that I wanted to go to trial. We did and I won with very little help from him. I don't know what Henry Cistrelli specializes in but can say from experience that I would be very surprised to hear that it is workers comp law. How would you feel if someone reached into your pocket and stole $32,000? Because that is exactly what it felt like. There are some wonderful NJ WC attorneys out there and my experience is that Henry is not one of them.

Mr. Mayer quickly added a junior lawyer, apparently to justify the additional rate of over $650 per hour for the junior lawyer to send the company, Rula, a cease and desist letter, to which the receiver company responded by doing absolutely nothing that was demanded in the cease and desist letter, then by which Mr. Mayer patted himself on the back suggesting that somehow that meant the company was taking the letter seriously. He then asked for a meeting twice and never showed up, and then ignored my emails about his no-shows at appointments he requested. This lawyer operates with little regard for the suffering of a client, whom he pressured into paying him/his company $1,500 (when I was in the middle of researching attorneys and firms in California) when he is not even a registered lawyer in my state, and left in me in same position, or worse, with now continued online harassment, theft of image and bio by the other company for its marketing purposes, and a continuation of retaliation even after terminating contract work with that very unscrupulous company.

Taking a polygraph to assert your honesty is not an easy thing to do but Jessica was very patient, going over each question until I was comfortable. She explained the entire process to me and told me when and why she would do certain things so that I would not be caught off guard. I had a tough time getting comfortable with a different polygrapher (who I went to before I found Jessica) and was unable to take the test because of my nervousness. He accused me of faking a panic attack and told my boyfriend I was an actress and that he shouldn't believe anything I'm saying! I couldn't believe that a supposedly professional person was accusing me of something without even giving me the test! Im so thankful I found Jessica because I was able to take the polygraph with her. I thought I was incapable of taking it because my nerves got the best of me in the past but she took her time to make me feel comfortable and at the end of the day, I was able to take the polygraph because I was comfortable with Jessica. I was very nervous to even meet another polygrapher because of my previous bad experience but when Jessica mentioned she'd been around these machines since she was a little girl and learned from her father, I immediately felt like I could trust that the truth would come out if she did my polygraph. One recommendation I have for anyone about to take a polygraph is to find someone you're comfortable with- That is of the utmost importance. Many people are qualified to give a polygraph but the personal touch is the reason why I would recommend Jessica in a heartbeat for anyone going through a similar difficult situation with their significant other.

Despite repeated requests over a period of years beginning in 2011, I have received not one piece of paperwork on what was done with the estate. By law there should be a list of all assets and debts provided: a full accounting is required. Obviously Mr Vivino is aware of the requirements of the law. My son's Audi and his boat were picked up the month after his death. Both were sold and I never was able to get an accounting of the money received. I have no idea of what else was left from my son's estate, if anything. Possibly there was property and of recent information a trust left by his grandfather and other items. Eventually I tried to have the administrator removed. Mr Vivino prepared an agreement for me to sign which, among other items, gave the administrator freedom from responsibility for any actions taken. I had no record of the actions that were taken and was not going to assume all responsibility of actions I knew nothing about. Mr. Vivino's client sent threats about what "his lawyer was going to do to me" as well as what "the judge at the lawyer's office would do to me". Mr Vivino ignored these as well as the pornographic nasty texts his client sent. There was one more matter to take care of, a retirement account of my son's. I sent a copy of the threatening and pornographic texts Mr. Vivino's client had sent me that Mr. Vivino had refused to hear stating "I was not his client". After reading my letter, he agreed to help resolve this with the administrator. I sent Vivino's office all paperwork from the account. I called and was told he was working on it and I should call back. I called back and nothing had been done. Mr. Vivino was rude, impolite, and uninformative. He said to call back in a month. After 6 weeks I called. I called 5 times on 5 different days. Each time I was promised he would return the call. Giving up on the matter I wrote the previous review on YELP. Then Mr Vivino found time to call me back. Not about the issue but to ask if I would remove the review. He also mentioned how much this time was costing and he would be billing the estate. I had hoped this money, if ever recovered, would go to my son's cousins. I want none of it. Seems like everything else it will go to the administrator and Mr. Vivino and I will have NO accounting of anything. All I wanted is the records as required by law. You decide if you wish this man to represent you.

I am very pleased with my dealings with him and his firm and will not hesitate to retain him and refer him to others in the future.

The way he shut down debate on that one and made sure no one could question his reasoning? Masterful! That was some spectacular lawyering! Please, hire him, with a big contract! He will certainly do all he can to keep your board members in place and do all he can to ensure that any board members who try to make things better are run off the board. He's really great at that! You won't find a better lawyer! He may even help you rig a board election! And, no way will anyone suspect a thing. No siree! Not with Jeff! He's the best lawyer you will find. I'm not saying he rigged one of our elections, because if he had, no one would be the wiser, and I certainly am not wise at all. I'm just sure he could, if that's what you need. I was their client for 3 years and because of the statute of limitations it would have been difficult to transfer my case to another firm once an offer was made by the opposing counsel. I trusted the firm to fight for my best interest equal to the pain and suffering that I have experienced but in my opinion that was not the outcome. Unfortunately, in the end I lost time and only received a fraction of the cost of what I deserved from this settlement.
