They communicated that morning letting us know they would be here at their allotted appointment time. They called again to tell me they finished one job early and would come early if that was acceptable and it was. When they got here Jesse took the time to explain the process they would be working. They went through a questionnaire to make sure they had our approval. Once we OKd the project they began the work. It took them about 2 hours and they began the work immediately and were professional in every aspect of their project. They worked like a well trained team and completed the work to our satisfaction cleaning up everything when they finished. Once they had completed the work we checked everything they did and were extremely pleased with the work. And the sidewalks that had sunk about 2-3 inches were perfectly level and looked like new. From start to finish, they walked me through what was needed financially and the day of the repair. The guys were awesome! I had 17 piers done and it required them to remove and replace bushes, drill into concrete, and even put a pier in the middle of my bedroom! I know that sounds like a lot. Called to request a foundation inspection, as the home is 30 years old, we have some very minor…read moretile cracks, and do see some seasonal movement in door openings (mostly one upstairs one). Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures. Salesman wrote Contract & it was signed & scheduled (5 Figure Contract). 2.) Installation Crew worked 2 full days on my House Project. Compliments to the Crew - They worked hard, and were professional. 3.) Negatives : It has been 2 1/2 months since the job was finished. a.) I never heard from the Salesman again, to follow up on my satisfaction. b. Clean Up - As many jobs as Olshan does, some training & Care should be exercised. I found my Dryer Vent stuck up in a Shrub. When Installation Crew digs up Shrubs, they should not replant them in Gumbo, they will die. c.) They violated my Contract - Olshan never contacted me to do their after job waste water plumbing test. They took payment, & flew away. Disappointing.
