Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures. Compliments to the Crew - They worked hard, and were professional. 3.) Negatives : It has been 2 1/2 months since the job was finished. a.) I never heard from the Salesman again, to follow up on my satisfaction. b. Clean Up - As many jobs as Olshan does, some training & Care should be exercised. I found my Dryer Vent stuck up in a Shrub. When Installation Crew digs up Shrubs, they should not replant them in Gumbo, they will die. c.) They violated my Contract - Olshan never contacted me to do their after job waste water plumbing test. They didn't install the ridge venting all the way to the edge and something else was installed upside down, requiring them to come back twice several weeks after the install. We also had someone on the roof to install a vent for a water heater and he noted severe rotting under our three dormers that should have been taken care of with the roof. We ended up fixing these ourselves. No, I wouldn't recommend them because they didn't complete the job to our satisfaction. Does anyone care about giving the customer good service anymore?
