Anyway, I needed to have a tree removed that was nearly completely dead. The Trees on my property in East Quogue haven't been attended to for at least 30 years. I called TLC having seen their equipment at another location and scheduled for Paul to come and have a look. There were about 20 trees on the property at the time. Paul and I took a walk around the property and he discussed with me the things that he felt would be good to do. He was thorough and totally non pressure. It was clear that if I just wanted the one tree down that was fine, but as I thought about it I began to picture how much better my property would look with a high canopy of trees rather than the low canopy that I currently had which was not especially attractive and also had the effect of making my house rather dark. In addition it would benefit the health of my trees. I scheduled for TLC to remove three trees which were in very poor shape and to trim up all the remaining trees. The job was done on time as promised in 3 visits. The TLC crew knows what they are doing! They were careful to trim the trees in the proper fashion, in fact they were pretty incredible to see at work...have a look at the attached picture! I enthusiastically recommend TLC. Another day passed no call, no text... Another day... They are extremely unprofessional and unreliable. Avoid them at all costs unless you like to waste your time and no get responses on any front.

I priced out many landscapers and I went with them because Anner actually listened to what I said, worked within my budget and is always checking in whether it's on the phone or in person to make sure everything is going smooth. We're not able to be at our property all the time, we're in and out on weekends so can't manage all we want or be onto of our yard. This team went above and beyond by solving issues we had before we knew we even had them. One of my favorite things about these guys is the trust that I feel that I leave my yard in good hands. Even without being asked, Anner has dropped seed and also adjusted irrigation to better suit the areas around the grounds. Since we've had his team on our property, it has never looked better. If large issues arose, he would consult us. Nothing ever surprised us about charges because he never charged us anything we hadn't agreed to before hand. Very fair. We even had an emergency situation, a worker cutting an irrigation line on our property, Anner was able to get there and solve the issue quickly for us, which was awesome because we were not there. I hired GODOY Driveway Company to redo the driveway at my small East Hampton cottage. Their…read moreportfolio looked beautiful, and although their price was extremely high (around $30,000), I decided to move forward hoping for quality work that would last. While the steel edging for the gravel area was done nicely, I was surprised to be charged an extra $1,200 just to sink the existing Belgian block to match the new ones. That should have been included in the original price -- it made no sense to leave half the driveway uneven. Communication was also very difficult. None of the workers spoke English, so I couldn't communicate simple requests, like asking them not to urinate in my bushes. They cut stone directly in front of my new gate, coating everything in dust and never hosed it off. At the end of the job, I requested a few stepping stones to connect the front steps -- a small addition. They charged another $2,700 for just a handful of stones that were roughly placed directly into the soil. When I pointed out the scratches and poor workmanship, the owner refused to come see it and dismissed my concerns, saying "they are natural stones." When I asked again for him to come inspect the work, he became aggressive and threatened me -- saying that if I kept complaining, he would destroy my house and "rip up my front yard to make a mud pond for my kids." His tone was violent and unprofessional. I felt unsafe and contacted the police to make a report. This has been the most unprofessional and upsetting experience I've ever had with a contractor. The owner is largely absent, overcharges for basic work, and becomes hostile when questioned. I strongly caution anyone considering GODOY Driveway Company. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau to help protect other families from going through this.

They were suppose to leave me the chips to use as mulch but 1/3 of the pile was pine needles from another job. Don't know if they are diseased or not. Buyer beware.
