I have to say that I had seen A Mother's Touch Moving truck a few times and thought it was a cute name for a small moving company operation. We called a week before we moved. They were running a tight schedule but fit us in on a Friday afternoon. When they arrived they were professional, greeted me, and immediately got to work. We had Ethan, Drew, and Eman. We had moved everything to our living room for ease as we had two floors to traverse, and everything was already boxed and ready to go. There a couple of pieces they were a bit concerned about as they were built inside our home, and maneuvering the landings and corners of the stairs looked almost impossible. They did it though! Once we arrived at our new home, they placed everything where we requested and even with the furniture being quite large and awkward on the stairs, I don't believe there was even the smallest nick on the walls or furniture. I've heard stories about other local movers that were horrific which is why we decided to go with A Mothers Touch. I'm so happy we did! The price was a bit more than we expected. I believe there was 30 minutes more than when we had them but they did a great job so we didn't question it. I do think there should be a more immediate way to pay when the office is closed though. It's a bit unnerving to have to have someone take your credit card number on a piece of paper and hope they charge it appropriately whenever the next time they're open is. What a pleasure it was to move with Mothers Touch doing all the work. They showed up right on time. They work continuously with speed and care. I have a considerable amount of antiques and each one was wrapped with extreme attentiveness. 5/20/2026 Unfortunately I cannot tell the same experience you all have with A Mother's Touch Movers. Despite I specifically told -Heather- moving will be to a Storage unit, 1st floor, 13 miles distance for only 24 pre-boxed small boxes, one small bicycle machine, one night stand, one queen bed (they put plastic over), THAT WAS ALL. No wrapping involved! They took whole nine-yard advantage of me and made profit. Deceitful practices started from start to end, time they called me they arrived at Patrick SFB gate, they never showed up, I called their phone to inquire what is going on, they were unreachable, I was put on gobble sound. I called office, Heather told me she cannot reach them either. Okay! After 35 minutes, Patrick security called, they cannot recognize my residency, wanted my ID number, my SSN (did not give), I had to drive 3 miles to gate to provide my military ID to sponsor three movers & truck to get in. Additional wait time at gate I waited official to make a copy of three guys' DLs on hard paper copy and scan my military ID for each. One mover almost did nothing with a tablet in his hand, two guys put items in truck in less than 30 minutes, before they left, they damaged/broke my front door security lock, made my residence easily accessible after we left, then turned around charged me $761.81 shamelessly telling they will charge extra hour for the time of waiting at gate, if so why they never called me to inform, played games, made their phone unreachable, when all move completed in less than an hour, I called office to inquire why they sent three movers for this small move to 13 miles distance, no answer, I inquired why extra hour charge for their waiting at gate, they would not reimburse, their answer "was it their fault if they had to wait at gate", This sort of answer none of you, who wrote compliments, would wanted to hear, !they chose to be deceptive to me just because I skipped pre-visit estimate, assumed they would be honest for this such a small move, but movers did this to me after I was fair and nice to them giving each refrigerated big Fiji bottled waters and $10 tip each total $30. I was fair but they were deceptive. I will not recommend this moving company who found a way to profit from senior female, Federal Retiree, military widow, living alone, charging me outrageous cost then not being honest, not showing it on invoice, the deceit. We used Mother's Touch for a move a few years ago and did not hesitate to call them again for our move last week. Their estimator responded in a timely manner and was accurate. The packers did a great job packing our belongings with care (truly a "Mother's Touch") The moving team did a great job loading and unloading all our "stuff". They were professional and personable. I will start by saying that due to multiple referrals, I ended up using another company but A Mothers Touch was so professional, responsive, and helpful during my estimating process. Their pricing was fait and very comparable to another reputable company. I did not hire this company. My neighbor did. They blocked most of my driveway that I had to partially drive on grass to squeeze in and park. Then they moved my trash can up near driveway so the garbage truck never got it. I have 3 dogs I clean up after so you can imagine what my trash can will smell like till the next pick up in 4 days. We have moved countless times as a prior military family. Everything from the estimate, the partial pack, to the move in and putting together of all of the furniture simply COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!! I was a bit concerned about the hourly rate but these folks worked HARD!! On top of that, they were KIND and cared for our things as if it were their own. Have them come out to your property and give you a quote. They must have hired more crews since they were so popular in Brevard County. The new staff is inexperienced and slow. Don't let them do the hourly rate. I was completely ripped off and the movers were super slow. Took hours longer than it should have. I would not recommend them or use them again. We have moved an incredible number of times due to job relocation. A Mother's Touch was the best of all! They arrived on time, were respectful of our furniture, had positive attitudes, cost was as agree, and were .... well .... - perfect. Their truck was spotless. There were so many things they did that went beyond the normal movers. Our new home has light colored walls and some of the doors are a bit narrow -- not a scratch. I was impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism from my initial contact with them. The quote I was given at the beginning was what I was charged at the end. No unexpected fees or charges. It's very hard to rate this company. Owner who did our first meeting, professional. Staff were timely, polite, proficient and skilled. We used them 3 times. Moved from 1 apartment to the next, then from storage, to home, then again stuff to storage. Somewhere along the line we must have done wrong by these guys. Maybe we didn't tip them properly. Ask the owner before hiring them, what's appropriate. Here's what we ended up with. Everything of value was stolen. Computer scanner, lead crystal vases, Mikassa decorative glassware, My plastic laminated three generations family photo, which included my deceased sister, stolen. I probably wrapped it to well and put it in with the vases. They liked the vases so much that they stole my first camera case (retired professional photog.),to carry them away in. One must have slipped out and broke, because it was buried, unwrapped among winter coats, quite purposely in a manner that I would cut myself when I put my hands in the box. Our apartment was flooded by hurricane IRMA, we moved again last October. It has taken me this long to be able to compose myself and write this review. Best advice I can give you, pack your valuables and put them in your car. Don't turn your back for a moment, watch them like a hawk, follow the truck to your destination. A Mother's Touch is the absolute best moving company. We moved my 75 year old mother from Palm Bay to Palm Coast. The team from Mothers Touch arrived right in time 745Am. Thomas and Jesus were wonderful, so kind, very patient and so careful with all the furniture. They never stopped. Loaded up 1500 sq ft house by 1030am, drove 2 hours, offloaded everything and they were done by 3:30pm. They were so sweet and even gave my mother a rose. It made me cry. I have used "A Mother's Touch Movers" three times in the last 9 years. I worked as a hospital director and moved 14 times during the last 35 years. I have used every major moving company and have had a great number of furniture and items broken. This is not the case with Mothers Touch! During my first move in 2013, Mother's Touch moved all my belongings from a storage facility to my new home. They were in awe of the number of scratches in furniture, broken glass and mirrors in my curio cabinets from the previous movers "Allied Van Lines". They were so apologetic even though they had nothing to do with the damaged move. Each time I used Mother's Touch they handled everything as if it was their own an unreplaceable! I have a background in interstate moving so when my aunt needed help booking her move from Miami to Viera, I offered to help. I have seen firsthand all the crazy - and devastating - things that can happen during a move. I made it my mission to find the very best movers. I searched Yelp, Google Business, Facebook and the BBB with a fine tooth comb and landed on A Mother's Touch. I called and booked. It was simple and they didn't even require a deposit. Says something about their business! The movers arrived in Miami on time (a 3.5 hour trip from Viera). Miami has some of the worst traffic so I was shocked. The movers Kyle and Jesus were professional, strong, kind, compassionate and understanding. They took care of my aunt's most valuable items as if they were their own. The truck arrived in Viera - zero breakage, no issues - and they still had the energy to tweak things to help her. They disassembled her items and reassembled them with ease. There are plenty of shady movers out there but this one is the polar opposite. They took pride in making sure things were seamless. Communication was impressive too! Heather in the office would ring the movers and see what their time frame was and we got a response in minutes. They were very quick and careful about the items in our home. Took special care to make sure nothing was damaged. Unhooked our refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer very nicely. Hooked everything back up upon return but did not hook up the dryer hose correctly. Also, they lost all the shelves to both our dvd bookshelves. When asked about the shelves they didn't seem to show any real concern over it and only offered an apology. Don't think we'll use them again, though prices were fair. Not sure. read more
