This was a move from one storage unit to another, so when they were done, Two Men provided extra help to make sure I could access my belongings. I couldn't believe how wonderful Antonio and his sidekick were at strategically placing my items where I can easily get to them. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. We hired two men and a truck Melbourne to move us SEVEN blocks away. The crew of three unilaterally broke and destroyed so so many items. 1. Got grease stains all over a brand new cream couch that we just paid over $3500 for 2. Tore a leg off my grandmothers antique 1970 beautiful wood kidney makeup table. No dollar amount can be put on that 3. scratched up my beautiful work desk and chair. wasn't new but in great shape and cost several thousands a few years ago. 4. scratched the entire front of my new washing machine that was over $1000. 5. Totally scratched up two wood eucalyptus lounge chairs that I just bought for $1000 each. This is just to name a few. The office Manager was rude and told me that if I cared about my furnishing's/stuff that I should've purchased the additional insurance. they didn't care and claimed zero responsibility. I was told I signed a contract and shouldve read it. She was supposed to send me a piddly amount of $102 to compensate my losses and guess what, over two months later I still haven't received that insulting check. that didn't even cover someone coming to remove the greasy stains they got all over. if you care about your furniture and furnishings I would NOT use Two Men and A Truck Melbourne. They do not give a flying crap about their customers once your move is complete and if anything gets destroyed. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the states attorney. this location should be ClOSED... They are a horrible business. read more

Two men and a Truck moved us on June 17th 2024. The workers were very good. We incurred damage to a mirror frame, they glued the pieces back. We had damage to a bookcase base, where a chunk of the corner went missing. They came out the first week of July to take a picture of the damage. I spoke with HEATHER and she would get back to me re: the damage. I left numerous messages for HEATHER and received no response. I called the local office and was told I would be hearing an answer by e-mail. No response. This is the beginning of Oct. The contract says the have the right to repair or replace. I paid for extra coverage. Send me my money back so I can have the repair done myself. I have used this franchise for many moves in N. Carolina and Florida. TLDR; Look elsewhere for a moving service; Furniture damaged during move; took a while to unpack and report because of sick baby and COVID; franchise puts policy over customer and does not fix their damages. I don't expect my issue to be resolved or admitted to by the owner but I want anyone considering using them to take my experience into consideration and look into the many other high quality and affordable moving services in the area. While my case is an edge case and will hopefully not happen to you I urge you to read my experience, which I kept short, and take it into consideration. Back in Sept. 2020 I moved from one house in W. Melbourne to a second just a few minutes down the road. On the day of the move all of the movers were professional and got the job done. Unfortunately, as we settled in we noticed several damaged items in various rooms of the house (broken port on a 70" TV, few dinged corners on furniture items like a china hutch, dresser, table). Having several small furniture items and boxes left by the movers in the garage we waited until we were fully unpacked to report the damages imagining the process would be quick and easy. Boy were we wrong. We had a 3 month old with severe stomach issues at the time, amongst COVID19, so it took us a little longer than expected to unpack/inspect the furniture in the garage. 76 days according to their count. After a few weeks of struggling to hear back from them after they came to my residence to look at the damages they denied coverage under their contract policy "If you discover a damage after the move, call the office within 96 hours of your move. No damage claims will be honored until charges for the moving service have been paid in full." which made no explicit mention of denial to cover their damages after the window. It was like pulling teeth to hear from them, only ever responding when I reached out despite assurances otherwise. Missed the in-person appointment and rescheduled for later in the day only when I called. Audibly laughed at over the claim by the franchise owner. Convenient? Yes, but with this kind of service. I don't think there will be future business and any refers. My family already packed and moved the majority of our boxes to the garages. We needed Two Men and Truck help with moving our furniture in and out of the pod after the repair. Lee and Evan were the crew for the first visit. Technically, it was like "One and a half man" working that day. Lee frequently took short breaks then he went and sit another 30 minutes in the truck all were included in our 4.50 hours charges. While my family was working tirelessly to move others boxes out to the garage and assisted the team. We really appreciated Evan who worked hard by himself until everything was done. We got the crew pizza and sodas. After the visit, we had mixed feeling and called the office to request Evan and a different teammate for the return move. Westley, the office consultant asked us what happened. We told him what happened and we were not happy. He promised to pass it on to his manager to review and will follow up. Well, there was no follow up calls. We tried to call the office back several times. Finally, we spoke to Doug, the operation manager. At first, he said he could help us to review the bill but then called back and said his manager needs to review and will call us back. On the 2nd visit, Doug actually came with Evan to see how Lee's work was. Doug and Evan did a good job; Doug still said his manager will look into it still. One month later today, we still have no follow-up after we tried to call the office several times and they promised to contact us back with a resolution. This is why we rated them low. We worked with many businesses before and we value the integrity, the honesty, and the workmanship. Don't promise and now under deliver. They are less than 3 minutes away from my house. Convenient? These guys made our recent move a nightmare! We needed help in a short move....that got a little more complicated than we anticipated, when our new house closing was 4 days after our old home closed. This meant that the contents of our home would have to be put in a storage unit and then delivered to our new home. We thought we did due diligence....getting an estimate for the move from a well know company that we had used previously to unload a truck of goods we had driven from Massachusetts, with no issues. Moving day arrived and the men arrived (3) to load our household into their trucks. We had been told that we did not need to empty drawers, that they would seal them shut and all would be well. My husband had done a terrific job of packing up our goods, and boxes filled the dining room area as well as the guest room. The men said that the estimator had underestimated the amount goods...and they stated that a large bureau would need to be emptied before they could move it. We cleaned it out in minutes. There was another large cabinet that holds a large amount of crafting supplies, which they never said to empty. The men seemed competent and all appeared to be going pretty well....when they arrived at the storage unit, we did get a call because all of our goods would not fit into one unit, and we would have to rent another as well. It was also mentioned that they were not very good at packing the units... Ah, after 4 days of motel living, we had our closing and then went to our new home to await our furniture. And then everything seemed to go downhill. The guys who arrived appeared to be high school boys or at best, fraternity brothers. They were dumping the goods out of the trucks with little or no care, and bringing in things on a dolly that left black wheel marks on the tile and carpets. Dragged mattress on the ground and scratched the porcelain top of the washing machine. It only got worse from there...our year old tv stand had it's base broken, and the large craft cabinet had it's base wrenched off....and somehow they managed to crack 4 floor tiles in the process. As time went on, more damages were found including the foot broken off of a chiminea that had traveled from California to Massachusetts to Florida without being damaged, but the 26 mile trip was it's Waterloo. Now to be fair, we were promised that all would be put to rights...they have someone who can repair anything....and the 4 mugs that were broken would be replaced or we would be reimbursed....they came and looked at the damage and left. It was after that visit that I noticed the cracked tiles, so they aren't included in the "fix". Five weeks later two fellows showed up and repaired the tv stand and reattached the leg on the chiminea. Then a check for one hundred forty arrived with no explanation except "Damage Reimbursement". Today, my husband got an text stating: We are cashing it out, we estimate the weight at 200 lbs which is probably more than it weighed at 60 cents per lb plus the 40 dollars we discussed for the 2 cups. I confirmed it with the state of Florida and they informed me this is correct. Our accountant has the check request and will be mailing it out Monday. Hmm, no conversation....if it (the craft cabinet) weighed less than 200 lb, one would think that two of their "frat boys" should have been able to handle it...and deliver it in one piece....and it was 4 cups not two! So glad that he confirmed it with the State of Florida...too bad he didn't confirm it with us. This was probably the most costly "mistake" in our many years .... How did it go so wrong . For the cost of this move and replacing what was destroyed we could probably buy a good used car.....we are considering this move our last move....so we'll never have to deal with this group of incompetent people again, not that we would ever hire them again....our advice to you....FIND ANOTHER MOVER! read more

We moved from a house into a condo nine miles away (Viera to Melbourne, FL) The condo is on the 4th floor, so we had multiple trips up and down the elevator. I couldn't recommend our moving crew any better. They were terrific! Mark, Jerry and Lee were the crew that Two Men sent. They got through it all and they had a lot of physical hauling to do! They were great about packing our stuff, however the next day it was all young college students moving us and they were nothing short of awful! The main guy was very rude and obnoxious. He's definitely in the wrong profession. Two of the guys were very nice and polite. by the time that the move was over, we realized that our bedroom furniture had a lot less handles on it when they were finished. The move itself was satisfactory, however, the initial conversation with Corey at the call center and a follow-up with Cheryl locally is where I have a big problem. I had specifically requested to have an elliptical machine taken apart and moved to our new home and was assured by both Corey and Cheryl that this would be no problem and no charge. When the movers arrived they had no mention of the elliptical anywhere on the paperwork and were not able to meet my request. I contacted Mark who I'm told is the manager of the local office and through several phone calls back and forth was told there was nothing he could do to satisfy my leaving the elliptical behind and that I should have called him right away.........how about your crew should have gotten the job request right in the first place? The workers were very good but the loss of a $900 machine leaves a very bad taste in my mouth about this overall. read more

First bad experience with 2 men and a truck after 9 years of using various locations. Will not be using this location again. Attitudes from the beginning due to a discrepancy in the arrival time frame, was told they couldn't put any of my furniture together, and didn't remove any shrink wrap from any items. I am still giving 2 stars because I acknowledge they did heavy lifting and got everything moved in a timely manner, and also appreciate the manager adjusting the time to reflect on my bill. Just a tip to these movers whose names I won't mention- moving is stressful no matter how big or small. You don't know what people have been through or are going through, but you're role is to help them- so attitudes and acts of kindness go a LONG way and can make or break future business. The estimating process was easy and he explained the benefits of his company's services in detail. Though their quote was higher than the competition, their own team loaded my belongings, drove them on a single truck and met me to unload on the destination side. The peace of mind of having not changing hands and the personal service made the higher price worth it. The estimator packed my belongings on move day, and the two man moving team was careful, respectful, and had a great attitude. We had 2 estimates written and we booked our appt to have TM&aT move our business. Upon arrival, the 3 movers said they didn't know the all the equipment was being moved, and gave us contradicting stories and unintelligent responses. We played phone tag with the office while the movers were sitting in the parking lot doing absolutely nothing for about an hour, not at our request. Kylee, the owners' daughter, was very unaccommodating and unapologetic when her employees were rude and left without notice. After further investigation, she found both quotes and even though the mistake was a miscommunication between the office and the movers, they refused to fulfill their commitment to us on our scheduled day and wanted to push back the move for over 10 days. As a business this is not an option. I found this franchise to be VERY unprofessional and would not EVER suggest using them unless you want to be disappointed. read more
