I had one zone that for years was not working properly. I called 3 companies. The first was the orginal installer back in 1998. They said too many heads in the one zone, I said you are the ones that designed and installed the system. They said maybe water pressure dropped over the years. So they removed one of the heads in that zone. It helped but not 100%. They said it was the best it would get our water pressure must have dropped. The only way to correct it would be to install a pump to build up pressure. I called company 2 they looked and said it was a tree root issue, do to the neighbors trees. Did not have the tool with them to check were the blockage was. Said they would need to come back. Instead they called me with a quoted of $2000 to run new lines. I asked what about looking for the blockage? They said it would be a waste of time. Not satisfied I called John's sprinkler system 708.349.3522. They came out worked on the system for about 2 hours. The first thing the techs (Julio and Jeff) found was a head was cracked. The system worked but not 100%. They looked and found a leak in the line by another speaker head. They dug it up and repaired it. The pressure is so good now it was spraying the house, the neighbors yard and our shed. They adjusted all heads and spray patterns. The system works like new. I highly recommend John's sprinkler system.

As we did with Aquamist, JULIE came out and marked everything, including the property line. Come to find out, even though Aquamist had a copy of the survey, our sprinkler heads were installed 3 feet into our neighbors yard. Upon calling Aquamist, they first said they no longer work in this area, then said their service season was over. This has nothing to do with servicing the system, it has to do with fixing an installation problem. They then said that the owner of the company would call me this as soon as possible. This was three days ago and I still haven't heard back. They were simply trying to make excuses to get me off the phone and give up. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they clearly do not follow city or village code or the diagrams and land plots they are given. Avoid this company at all costs.

Beware. The poor ratings and references to questionable conduct by Aquamist employees appear to be…read morewarranted based on my recent experience. Aquamist caused significant damage to my system and will not correct it. I have hired an attorney and will be serving Aquamist in the coming days. An Aquamist service technician identified mechanical damage to my valve systems during spring startup. The service technician made a point to say that the damage could not have been caused by weather; rather, their opinion was that the damage was caused by an untrained person manipulating the system. I have records to confirm that the company performed the fall shutdown in 2024, and no other person or company has accessed or serviced the system since. Therefore, any mechanical damage to the valves could only have occurred during Aquamist's 2024 fall shutdown or 2025 spring startup. When confronted with this, Aquamist took the bizarre stance that one of my children caused the damage. The accusation that one of my girls would access the valve cover, navigate a spiderweb-covered hole, and manipulate valves with tools is implausible. Further, my backyard is secured by a six-foot privacy fence and a camera-monitored gate, with no evidence of unauthorized access by anyone. When confronted with these facts, the Aquamist employee then blamed the landscaping company that put down sod for me in the fall. This is impossible. The system was operational after the landscaping was done and the prior to Aquamist performing the fall shut down. Again, I have the documents to prove the timeline. I provided the above facts to Aquamist and asked if they would send a new crew out to have a look and repair the damage that their team caused. The company has stated they are unwilling to do so.

Firstly, when it came time for then to install the sprinkle system they cancelled the install because they said the grade from the landscaper wasn't good enough. I had to beg the landscaper to do a second grade on our lot just so that they could install the system. At this point my landscaper (who has 40 years experience by the way) was frustrated because he had completed a good enough grade for them to install. Since he was frustrated and i asked them to install the sprinkler system anyway they tried to get me to give the business including my sod and plants to another landscaping company that they work with after i had already put down a deposit with my original landscaper. SHADY!!! Then after i finally got my landscaper to complete the final grade they scheduled and appointment that they cancelled and failed to show up for another three weeks after the originally scheduled appointment because "they got busy". Finally they install the system and i have a leak around one of the sprinkler head and guess what they cancelled on me twice and have stopped answering my phone calls. They only respond via text. STAY AWAY from Solano!!
