I'm not sure it's exactly like riding a bike--but Karen made me feel completely at ease from the start. Kiwi, my horse, was incredibly patient and gentle with me. I swear she knew I needed a little extra TLC! It made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. I even got to do a tiny bit of trotting, which was such a fun bonus. California Citrus State Historic Park is located in Riverside off of Van Buren Blvd. I have driven…read moreby here many times and this time I got to visit here as there was an event going on. The park preserves citrus groves (lots of acres here) and has historic exhibits displayed that tell stories of how citrus shaped the region's economy and culture. I really liked reading all the posters and learning about the history here ar this historic park. Who knew there was so many info about various citrus and their stages. You also have the option to wander through the orchards which was nice and relaxing and I love the fresh citrus smells! There's ample on-site parking and a designated lot where you pay $5 per vehicle for parking. As this was an event, the entrace fee coverend the parking fee so that was a nice bonus. Admission fee to the park and its visitor center/museum is free. There are also free guided grove tours on weekends to learn even more about citrus history.

I've worked in IT help desks for years so I know some people are just not good with a computer. That's fine. Just read the instructions carefully and you'll get thru. Or just get help from a teenager. :-) To get to this location they give you very good directions. If you follow them you'll have no issues. It's actually very easy! But GPS is not great for the less traveled roads in the mountains going to a place that doesn't really have a street address. We will be going back soon! Hopefully for 2 hours next time!

At the beginning of 2015 they stopped booking flights because one of the engines on the DC3 needed to be rebuilt. In March they started taking bookings again for April. I booked a flight for today over a month ago on their website for my wife and I. Well, we got stiffed. Since booking, I have continually checked the website for updates and the only message they had was that April was when they would resume flights. And, the website continued to allow bookings. I tried calling them several times the week prior to our flight and left messages to check on the status of the plane. They sent me a confirmation email on the day before the flight. So, we go to Chino Airport and they are a no show. On top of that, no one at the airport knows about them nor this service. Worse, they sell tickets to the Yanks Air Museum on their website as part of the booking process. They even go as far as calling this day "Open Cockpit Day" at Yanks Air Museum. The folks at Yanks did not honor the tickets I purchased from the website and knew nothing about them selling the tickets. This company betrayed our trust, and there is no way to get a refund that I can determine. What a shame!!!
