This was the most enjoyable CPR course I've ever taken! Kat is such an amazing instructor, extremely supportive and kind, very funny, and keeps the content entertaining. I was able to easily stay engaged and was very comfortable the entire time (I know courses can sometimes be intimidating). I walked away feeling educated and very prepared, and learned a lot despite this being another renewal for me! I plan on doing all future certifications with her, and I look forward to seeing her again! The space itself in Lafayette is very comfortable and inviting. My class happened to be all women, many doulas and moms, and everyone was so friendly. It had really good vibes despite talking about something so scary. Last time i went to the Antioch location, but this time went to the Concord one off Clayton Rd. I'm glad there are multiple locations to choose from to find the date/time available that work for me. Very easy to find the building. Each time so far has been an easy and pleasant experience, the simulation gives great feedback. I love that i can get it done at my own pace depending on how I do on each module. See you again in 2 years! :)

The most difficult class to pass I have been doing this for many years, ALS, BLS, NALS, PALS…read more Always did very well. It is not rocket science being in the lab part of this. You're going too fast too slow no recoil too much air. Not enough air. Too deep, not deep enough. Ridiculous. When I had one or two corrections got through it the computer started to spin and not giving my results and when I did, it was zero. There was no way it was zero when the computer corrected me twice it was all in the green. I do not advise anyone taking this class. I'd rather sit in the classroom all day and then do this again. My neck, arms and back are in pain I run every day 6 to 7 miles. I am a strong individual . CPR on a real person does not take this much strength. Now I must go and lie down with the heating pad first, I have to buy one. The one star is because I had to give it a star.

Convenient for BLS Renewals…read more Found this company on the American Heart Association website, an approved cite by my college to earn a BLS provider certificate as a nursing student. It was one of the closest options. I had a few bumps in the road, but was satisfied overall. If you are familiar with BLS techniques and just need to renew your certification, this is an outstanding option and one that I will certainly do in the future. There are two parts to the certification. First, you complete an online course. It's conveniently available 24/7 once pushed to you. It must be completed before your scheduled exam. It was loaded with helpful videos to pass the course. Then, you attend the exam which is an assessment of your new skills. It sounds scary but it's not. The computer prompts you with helpful instructions to pass. Heads-up, there is no staff at the center. You will receive a code to let you in at your scheduled time. Once there, sanitize your hands at the table, put gloves on, grab the ambu bags, sign into the computer, and follow the instructions. If you know what you are doing, you'll be done in 20 minutes. This process is so efficient. I loved having full autonomy over my success. You will too!

Well, I should have known it was off because I ended up in a dead end near old warehouses and what seemed like a junk yard. I tried looking up the address again to map myself and it still lead me to the same junk yard area. It was not until I typed in "Safety Training Seminars" in google maps that it lead me somewhere else. It was 15 minutes from where I was at the time. I ended up arriving about 20 minutes late because of this address issues... The good thing is, I had my BLS and PALS back to back so it helped relax my mind about the time frame that I had. Upon arriving, it was easier to find most of the doors you can see from the parking lot. I opened the door and there you see, 2 stations right when you walk in and another station behind this small door. Overall, the place was quite small, though clean. I'd come back again when I have to renew my certs again. But definitely be mindful of the address when trying to find the place!

The course was a hybrid meaning that I had to do an online portion, then forward my completion notice to Ted who then scheduled the in person hands on portion. Ted was thorough, even checking to hear how the online portion went (that was done on an AHA site which he does not control) and he quickly assessed my needs to tailor areas of focus needed. Very professional with a delightfully humanizing touch. Ted is an EMT and does this training all over the area. I was very pleased, got my card by email within about 48 hours. This friendly, professional guy runs a great business. I told all my friends at work. Highly recommended. The whole process cost me about $75, a bargain considering how truly efficient it is. She answered my questions and taught me things I hadn't learned in other safety courses I have taken thru other companies. The facility was very accommodating but the directions to the place are intimidating. While driving down one lane roads in the fog it is likely you will feel like you've been given the wrong info. Enjoy the country view and don't expect any signs just follow your phones navigation. It's a long 8 hour but well worth it. Thank you Sarah and Priscilla.
