I like mcalister's when I'm in the mood for soup and a sandwich. This is always my go-to spot. After a few visits now I always make sure that I order ahead and use the drive-thru. They can be a bit slow inside, but that is mostly from being busy. My personal feeling is that McAlister's is a bit pricey but I have no complaints about the food. You get what you pay for and I'm never disappointed. The location is good but traffic can be a bit much during peak hours. I highly recommend. read more

We wanted a light lunch after shopping and decided to stop at McAlister's. Service was quick and friendly and it was not super busy. There is plenty of seating and it was clean. The cashier recommend the Memphian for my son (he doesn't like condiments or a lot of extras on his sub and few changes were needed). I got the Pecan salad and hubby got the Grilled chicken salad. We also got a chipotle chicken and bacon spud. The potato was actually two potatoes and more than enough for all of us. I will say they should put a little more toppings as we had a lot of leftover potato to take home and no toppings to go with it. Customer service from the staff is unsatisfactory. Very impatient when reviewing the menu. Disappears when trying to make a decision and take a long time to get back to the counter. read more

We waited over 30 minutes for our food. They brought it out.. soup was cold, nachos were soggy and they only bought part of our order. One of my friends had to wait an additional 10 or 15 minutes for her sandwich. So disappointing. read more

Best Reuben sandwich ever! The chicken club is pretty awesome also. Ordering through the app is very easy, even for a senior citizen.

My husband and I ordered lunch here today and mine was terrible. The potato soup had no flavor and the potatoes were hard. The chicken club had 2 small piece is deli chicken (it was described as grilled chicken) and one small piece of bacon. Certainly not worth the price paid. Disappointed. read more

I love the spud max and they have the best tea around. The cashier was very sweet and the restaurant was clean.

Always a great sandwich here. My go to is the Reuben or the New Yorker. Soups are good too.

I was disappointed with the food I ordered from here. My salad did not look like the picture on the website or taste like I had hoped or believed it would. The lettuce leaves were wilted, and it looked like they put a ton of cheese on it to cover it up, which was to much for the salad read more

I love McAlister's! I've been here more times than I can count. The employees are usually nice and quick. The food is always good.

So I went today and got a Club togo. NEVER AGAIN! I will stick to the north Macon location. The bread wasn't toasted, I asked for no honey mustard and they opted to not even put mayo on it. There was one piece of bacon on ONE of the four sections. I have never been to a location that made such a pitiful sandwhich and it is the only item I ever order. And I tipped them, WHY? My tip should have been on how to make a club sandwich that is worth the price they charge, instead of actual money. read more

I ordered on the app so I could pick up my food at the window, I get to the window and they ask me to pull up because my order isn't ready yet, that's understandable. Where I have the problem is that it took them 30 minutes to finally get my order, I feel like the only reason they finally got it out was because I called them. I also asked for a piece of bread with my soup (which I got last time) and they told me that wasn't possible unless I paid for it, which wouldn't be a huge issue... but, while I was on the phone I heard the girl ask someone else if they gave bread with soup and the person she asked was like "bread? With soup? Well what kind of bread does she want" with the biggest attitude. At that point I told them not to worry about it. I will never be going back. read more

We arrived at 11:17 on Friday April 20 thinking we could get ahead of the lunch crowd. One person was taking orders and doing it very slowly. after ordering takeout, we waited and waited. Food came out very slowly and people were obviously getting very upset about the wait. The food runners seemed like they were walking as slowly as possible. We finally walked out with our food at 12:14 but before that, my wife discovered that they got the order wrong...she had ordered cheesecake and didn't get it. We live two minutes from the place and by the time we got home my Ruben sandwich was barely warm. The cheesecake wasn't very good. The restaurant is small and the parking lot is as well. The wait staff was indifferent and certainly not friendly and a couple seemed annoyed at having to get the food out. We had never ate at a Mcalisters before yesterday and after that experience we will probably never return. The first thing we heard were some workers sitting outside on break using profanity very loudly. Great thing to have in front of your business for folks to hear, especially children. Once inside we walked up to order, and instead of telling us the register the young lady was standing at was not open, she waved her finger at us as to say no. She never once spoke a word and just waving her finger and looked at us. The young lady at the next register took our order and was speaking so low that the background music made it almost impossible to hear what she was saying. I ordered the McAlister Club and my wife ordered the Harvest Chicken Salad. The bread on my club was super dry to the point toast would have be softer. I tried to make the best of it, however the taste of the club was not good. The croissant that the chicken salad was served on was just as bad. She only ate half due to this issue. If you are wanting a fresh sandwich and soup, I highly recommend you avoid this place and spend your money at Panera instead. The food is way better and the employees are not rude. read more
