Ordered at the same time, I got my food quickly but my coworker's meal took over 25 minutes to arrive. We asked multiple staff members to check on it. No one followed up. By the time his food came out, I had already finished eating. When the manager finally showed up, she apologized and asked if there was anything she could do. My coworker asked if she could swing a piece of cake. She said no--because it would "cost the restaurant actual money." That's not how you handle a service failure. Coworker wasn't asking for much. Just basic communication and a small gesture to acknowledge the delay. Instead, we got ignored and then told a slice of cake was too expensive to offer after wasting our lunch break. Tonight was a lazy night and we decided to just place a DoorDash for Chicken Salad Chick. On the menu today was spicy chicken salad (Kickin Kay Lynne), Broccoli Salad and some spicy pimento cheese. The upside was that delivery shouldn't affect the integrity of the order at all, so we should be getting a good glimpse at the quality of the final product. They delivered with about 20 packs of crackers, which was perfect for the amount of food we ordered. Okay, we really struggled to say which was best out of the 3. I LOVED the spicy nature of the pimento cheese...it was actually spicy and delicious. This was probably my favorite. The broccoli salad was fantastic! I think my girlfriend liked this the best. The spicy chicken salad was absolutely perfect. I normally don't like someone else making my chicken salad but this was just right. I really couldn't find anything wrong with the entire order! While the food is always good here, when the customer service is short, rude, and lacking it leaves me feeling like my money would be better spent elsewhere. I ordered ahead online, as I always fo. When I got to the speaker box at the drive thru android I was there to pick up a order a curt voice immediately said "you'll have to come inside for that". Which is odd because I have always picked up in the drive thru. When I went inside there wasn't one working the front register, so I proceeded to stand there for 7 minutes before being acknowledged by anyway,and that was only a female who asked if I had been helped, and then repeatedly questioned the drive thru workers as to who was supposed to be working the front. When the young lady came around the corner told her ibadan online order, which is she immediately saw and handed to me. So it was ready when I was in the drive thru, why I had to park and come inside I don't understand. But I would have been okay with that had it been asked of me nicely instead of rudely stated in a sparky tone. Then being ignored when I came inside was strike two. Just a hint of spice, pimento pieces are big enough to be a little fruity & just the right amount of salty. The "buffalo" flavor in Scotty comes across as mostly richness & smokiness rather than hot - which is perfect. We enjoyed the heck out of it at home on greens & vinaigrette. I tried this place for the first time and I really liked it! The food tasted great, the scoops are huge, and the cookie they give you is a perfect way to end the meal! It is a little pricey but it's worth it in my opinion. If you order a scoop, they give you a good amount of crackers too. During COVID, I have only used their drive-thru so I don't know what it's like inside. But from what I have seen the staff wears masks and there is a divider at the pay/food window. The general managers have dropped containers and their lids onto the floor and served customers with it. Brett Brandenburg, a franchisee of this establishment didn't dispose a box of croissants after it was brought to his attention by several employees that a fly had crawled all over them. Employees printed new expiration dates and placed them atop old ones on the chicken salads while health inspectors did a routine check in so it seemed as if the chicken salad wasn't expired. The sweat of employees in prep kitchen have dripped into the food as they were making it. Several employees have gotten sick after eating at this location and then came back to work, coughed all over the food and served it to customers. Dead roaches have also been found on tables and in front of their walk in freezer where all the ingredients are kept. read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner before my night class and boy am I glad I did. I had the special with a half sandwich and a choice of soup. From the recommendation of the employee I got the chicken bacon ranch chicken salad and it did not disappoint. To go along with that the bread was very soft and fresh as if it was freshly baked and the lettuce and tomato were fresh as well. Restaurant was very clean and well put together. I made a purchase on Saturday evening at the drive thru and once I returned home (in Perry) I notice I received the wrong order. It took me several tries before I was able to get in touch with someone because the phone number listed only lets you speak to someone if you are placing a catering order. Once I was able to get in contact with a representative I exampled to them my dilemma. This meant I had to make another 20 min trip back in order to retrieve the food I initially paid for. Once I returned back home after receiving the correct order, I open the container and notice my food looked as if they threw my order together in a hurry. The broccoli salad did not look fresh and the sandwich was made sloppy. We are constantly talking about how important good quality customer services is. I was never apologized to for the mix up nor compensated for the inconvenience.
