Firstly, the call service is awesome. They told me to wait about 15 minutes before I went, and I waited 25. When I got there, a line of about 18 people were wrapped around the dirty tables and all the staff was frazzled behind the counter. I really wanted to grab an apron and clean the tables. I waited another 20 minutes before I even got to the front, I noticed the manager on the phone, who ever she was talking to she seemed to be annoyed with, as she complained about the amount of people in her store. I paid, my order wasn't even bagged yet, so I waited for that. When I checked my order, of course it wasn't correct, however i felt like I couldn't complain because i felt like I would be more of a burden. Highly disappointed. read more

I understand this is a new world for all restaurants, but to never get things right Is not acceptable. If this was the first, second or even third time that we had a carry out order that didn't go as planned I would give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. But sadly we are past that point. A 30 minute wait past the pickup time, missing food, no salad dressing, no butter, no sour cream for an order that includes salads and baked potatoes isn't just a simple mistake. I love McAlister's Deli, they have wonderful food selections but the McAlister's in Clinton,Ms gave terrible food service. Waiting 20 minutes longer then usually. The soup showed up cold. My wife and I asked for the soup to be heated but found out that hot water was poured over the soup. Then, it tasted horribly strange while we were eating. The staff was tremendously confused on orders. Even the sweet tea was watered down. I truly love McAlister's but it was a Very Very Very bad experience for us. read more

The McAllister's Club is very good. But the service at McAllister's is sometimes questionable at this location. Especially after 3:00 when things get slow. No one asks if you need another refill. Today was wonderful standing there waiting for someone at the counter to refill my tea before departing. I'll come here less and go to two or three of my other locations more often. After just picking up the kids, I was exhausted from the day. Whenever I met this particular worker, she made the experience for my family. Manager was very professional, we had a huge order and we had to wait quite a while because of a few mistakes that were made with out order food but the manager made sure to take care of us because of how long it took. food was soooo good! read more

Very unhappy with the place. Food comes poorly prepared, manager is rude and unprofessional. When they messed up my salad manager came out and informed me that I was wrong about what should be included in it. (I only ordered salad there for 2 years prior). When I contacted the office they acted apologetic but that's about it. I was promised that they will work on their manners and fix the issues. So I decided to give them another try. We stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way home from Florida to Texas. My food came out 40 minutes after we ordered. It was cold, the plates are dirty and the service was terrible. There was hair in our food and people who ordered after us received their food before us. The restaurant wasn't even busy. This experience was nothing more than absolutely detestable. read more

The food is pretty good but the service is consistently poor. Their table number tags which are handed out when you order causes unnecessary errors. Today they grabbed my table number when they delivered my co-workers food even though I told the waitress that she got my tag. This resulted in my food not being delivered because they could not find "Table 70". After waiting for about 15 minutes, I inquired about my food. The response was "Oh....your #70". When my food was finally delivered (changed to To-Go due running out of lunch break time), they left out the chips.
