Both the food and high quality service is A plus rated at Lennys Grill & Subs in Clinton. You really have to try the subs they are delicious; served up hot or cold however you like. I have visited this place a number of times prior to making this post and I feel confident in saying this resteraunt is geniunely the best in the categories of customer service and creating quality food. Went here today for lunch and this place is a joke! The manager never smiles she's always in such a rush it makes you feel unwelcome. I ordered the all American with no turkey. When I got back to work I only had ham, cheese and 1 slice of bacon. I wasn't asked what kind of bread or if I wanted it 'Lenny's way' this place has lost my service. What happen... Great food. Friendly employees. We had club sandwiches and turkey sandwiches. They were delicious.

They are slow. Employees are uninterested and detached. Need more diversity in their workforce and that would probably solve all their problems. read more

Third times the charm? I was told by a coworker that sometime In the past year that I should try Lenny's again. I was hesitant but I miss the Lenny's by my house that shutdown. Today, I went and the service was excellent. The sandwich was good though they still go a little easy on the meat. The middle had a reasonable amount of meat but the last few bites on either half were veggies, mayo, and bread. I would be curious to know how they measure that out. The other Lenny's I've been too seem to have a more liberal measure of meat. Really I would call this a 3.5-4 star review but but they get a one-star bump for military/law enforcement discount. It was ok. Paid extra for double meat and she didn't think I saw her only put one portion of the cappicola on. It had already taken over 15 minutes since I'd ordered and hadn't eaten in over 18 hrs so I wasn't gonna make a fuss. Also asked for extra oil and vinegar and got hardly any. Probably will make the 18 minute drive further next time and get Jersey Mikes instead! read more

Supreme sandwich shop. I get the deluxe club every time. I am not a fan of spicy mustard, but I have friends that say it is divine.

I visit this establishment quite often. Today I decided to try the chef salad.... absolutely horrible! But this was not the kicker! After getting home and finding my lettuce wilted and wet salad ingredients, I decided to try it anyway; I thought it was just me, first time getting it and all.... I could not even stomach one bite. I called the restaurant and spoke to the employee and told him of my ordeal. After returning to Lenny's, the employee tried to explain the reasoning for salad ingredients after examining it. He then said that he could not refund my money. He calls the manager Mr. Ellis and I speak to him. Mind you, he is at home or away from the store, not directly looking at the salad. He then goes on to tell me that their salad ingredients were fresh and that there were many salads sold today with no complaints. I looked down at the salad, looked at the two employees, looked at the onlooking customers I've gained at this time, held up a flimsy cucumber and asked, "Does this look fresh to you?!". With agreement on their faces, I continued with management. "Sir, that could quite well be. You could have sold 500 salads today that were awesome, but this 501st was not. I would just much rather get a refund because I no longer want a salad or food from here." He said that he was insulted when I pointed out the ingredients were not up to the standards of Lenny's. He then goes on to say, "If you have never had our salad, how do you know what it is suppose to taste like?" "It's suppose to be edible, right!?" Again Mr. Ellis, you are arguing with a repeat customer who is letting you know that your salad is not up to par. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism from management. I would advise you to visit another location to spend your hard earned money because this was just ridiculous and could have easily been resolved. read more

This is a super clean and nice store the staff there is awesome the food is great and fresh .. don't judge this place by those old comments the owner and manager there has put in some time and work ! You can't beat the customer service offered here. A cookie was left out of out take-out order. When we called (as a courtesy), they drove to our house to deliver it! Food is consistently good. Bread is never stale. The chef salad is large enough for two! read more

Check out Lenny's if you want to experience terrible customer service and a guarantee you'll get the wrong order. Three bad experiences is enough for me. We ordered two philly chicken salads and a tuna salad sandwich, and came back with two philly steak salads and a chicken salad sandwich. Called the owner, Janie, and explained that this was the second wrong order we've received, both times with terrible customer service. She apologized, told me to write her name on the receipt and to come in again and she would "make it right." Hah, I did that today. After poor customer service again, they had to call Janie to discuss the receipt situation. They put Janie on the phone with me, who now claims she "doesn't remember" and can't honor the receipt nor the request to get the right order. Who. Does. That. Needless to say, I'll never be back, and will make sure to tell everyone. read more

I purchased a large Italian with extra ham (2.00) and extra salami (2.00), I explained that I needed lots of salami and would pay more than the 2.00 charge for extra salami if needed. The person preparing the sandwich said "this is about a pound and a half of meat so, no need to pay extra. Well, the sandwich cost $15.78 and included about a 1/4 pound of meat TOTAL for a 12 inch sub. As for extra salami, there were 6 very thin slices of salami that you can see through and if you didn't see it on the sandwich, you wouldn't know it was there, too thin to taste. I PAID FOR EXTRA MEAT. I noticed that the new owner runs the entire restaurant along with one other person. That's just sad! Too cheap to hire a staff. The sandwich is not worth the money!!
