We don't have a McAlister's Deli anywhere close to where we live, so we when we travel and one is close, we try and stop at one. We had just arrived in the area and we were tired from traveling. Didn't want to go out to any type of formal dining and didn't want your normal fast food. McAllister's fit the bill. We arrived around 5:00 in the evening and they had a few patrons but not extremely busy. The restaurant looked pretty clean and wasn't run down. The person running the register wasn't what I would call friendly, but neither could I call her rude. She was just a no nonsense person, and that's okay. She took our orders and handed us our cups for our drinks. Their lemonade is so good. We found a table and only had to wait about 10 minutes on our food. I ordered the Choose 2 Combo. I chose 1/2 Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey sandwich and 1/2 the chipotle chicken & bacon spud. Both were delicious. My brother tried the grilled chicken club minus the cheese. He enjoyed his as well. My mom got the pecanberry salad. I almost ordered that myself since I love salads with fruit. It looked amazing and she said it was tasty as well. I went here while on vacation, I really didn't know anything about the restaurant. The dining area was large with plenty of seating, also there were a number of places to eat outside. I arrived at about 12:15 on a Sunday afternoon as the church crowd was arriving also. There was a line waiting to order backed up to the entrance, the people taking orders at the counter moved everyone through the line quickly. We got our food really quick and everything was delicious, I ordered a New Yorker sandwich and a cup of possibly some of the best chicken tortilla soup I have eaten. My wife got the McCalister club sandwich which she said was very good. Both sandwiches had a lot of meat on them and were freshly made. The only slightly negative comment I could make is that they are a little pricey, the food was very good though. read more

We had a great experience at this McAlister's this afternoon! The staff were professional and very nice and the food was quite tasty! We had Smoky pepper jack turkey and ham and cheese melt sandwiches and the broccoli cheese soup. Highly recommend as a lunch spot! read more

I can't understand why this amazing deli hasn't been revived in some time. But I cannot let it go any longer without one. Looking for a deli while vacationing we decided to give McAllister's a try. I must say it did not disappoint in any way! My compliments to its chef for putting out a delicious lunch. I had a half chefs salad and half French dip sandwich. This location puts the deli in delicious. Compared to our neighborhood locale, this one beats it hands down. My-go-to McAlister's Club with deli fresh smoked turkey and Black Forest ham, bacon, sharp cheddar and Swiss cheese, spring mix, tomato, mayo and McAlister's Honey Mustard™ on wheat toast. Both the ham and the turkey had a nice layer of meat, a healthier choice of mixed greens, fresh tomatoes and crispy bacon. We had only the sharp cheddar and that complimented the sandwich and the mayo and honey mustard added the much enjoyed tang and sauce to a normally dry sandwich. Our choice of side was the potato salad that was very good. Chunky, smooth with a nice flavor. Even though we took to go, to the beach, was nice to see the older style of deli with the private, curtained tables. Outdoor seating was available too. I had a quick lunch at McAlister's Deli with some friends from church. I ordered the orange cranberry club, which is the McAlister's club, except it has orange cranberry sauce on it instead of honey mustard. For my side I chose the potato salad and lemonade to drink. The lemonade was very good. I enjoyed my meal so much, that I went back for dinner that same day. For dinner I had the chef salad. The chef salad had shaved turkey and ham(not diced),bacon, cheddar-jack cheese, tomato, cucumber, and croutons on mixed green lettuce. For the dressing I got the buttermilk ranch dressing. I also got a cup of chicken and dumplings which I noticed was not on the menu. The chicken and dumplings was delicious,I think that's what I'll have for dinner tonight! read more

Absolutely horrendous experience two weekends in a row!!! Stood in line FOREVER with only one person taking orders. To then be greeted by the most miserable employee with a terrible attitude. First week we dealt with it as we were hungry. Second week we walked out after we waited for 20 mins to get to the register and the employee walked off to clean off tables?!?!?I I will NEVER come back to this train wreck!!!! read more

Very good sandwiches and and my wife loved the Mac n cheese here. Orders take a while to fill dining lunchtime but it's worth the wait.

I love McAlister's. Aside from their sweet tea, which is my absolute favorite, their sandwiches are amazing. I usually get their ham/turkey/bacon club, but I got the spicy turkey melt this time and wasn't disappointed. It had a ton of meat, avocado and cheese on a toasted baguette. worked over 12 hours and when I arrived to pickup my online order, it wasn't ready! two out of three workers had no idea where my Oder was, nor did they care to find it. Twenty minutes later I finally get my order and without confirming everything, I get home and my order is missing the main item! If the staff is paying attention to orders, this would never happen! We were long time customers and have seen an extremely decline in customer service and the quality of their food. My Asian salad had 3 asian noodles and a few nuts with the lettuce! When calling and speaking to the Manager, all she offered was a credit on my next order! It would of been better for her to offer to have my sandwich sent by Uber Eats, etc. I was hungry and tired. I am from the Midwest, so if you're familiar with Panera Bread, this place is quite similar... only 100x better!! They specialize in soup, salad, and sandwiches. Their salads are fresh!! I recommend the Southwest Chicken with Avocado salad. The only reason I knocked a star down was due to missing the avocado on my salad. Otherwise, this is THE go-to quick lunch spot! read more

McCallisters used to be one of my favorites for food and service. Visited today and the little girl that delivers food, delivers them walks past the six dirty tables to get back on her phone behind the counter in front of the customers. The tea is old and obviously the containers aren't real clean. The tables are dirty, the floors are dirty, the bathrooms are dirty. It's obviously gone down hill since last time I was here. it was horrible , I walked in and the first thing the woman said was "we close in thirty minutes , are y'all gonna stay or leave" . I said we would stay and not only did she give me an attitude the whole time but when I got my nachos is was all cold and missing cheese , and when I asked her she said "we're out , I told you we closed in 30 minutes " and didn't try to make any amends at all.
