I'm not really sure why this place doesn't get better reviews. I have been here at least a half dozen times, and it is always good. I went today and got a garden salad and added spinach, chicken and avacado, no cheese, and raspberry pecan dressing on the side. They nailed it. It was pretty busy inside, but still got good service. I will continue to come here whenever I have to work at the hospital across the street. Keep up the good work folks. read more

The first impression with customer service is disappointing. I do feel the employee was rather new. The huffing, sighing and lack of professionalism diminished the experience. The food was good. Having been to so many McAlister's all over the country, heck even in the state, this one stands out above all the rest. I am very certain that there is not a chance that there could be another McAlister's as horrible as this one. It's not just the food that is never ever the same, it's not the fact that they seem to always find the rudest, laziest employees imaginable, it truly is that from ownership, to management, leadership, the front and back of the house not one single person who works there gives a dang. My guess is that it's a tax write off or somebody is funneling money through this business. This is a nationwide chain. Not a mom and pop store. The formula for success has already been solved. Brand new location and I was excited to try this place. Went with two of the soups the first time (chicken tortillas & broccoli cheddar). The broccoli cheddar was just okay, but the chicken tortillas was hearty and delIcious. The pick-up window did miss the chips as I didn't realize until I got home. This was my first time at McAlisters and everything on the menu looked so good. We were displaced from Hurricane Ida and had mostly stayed in Moss Point. I found there were limited restaurants around, mostly fast food. So seeing this deli was actually a relief and we ended up coming here multiple times. I really enjoyed their half salad and sandwich option. I had the BLT and southwestern salad. So good! And everything was fresh. My child also enjoyed their soup. Went by this evening for a sandwich and potato. When I arrived at the store, one employee was finishing her break in the lobby, eating Popeyes with a friend. She was asked to return from break and help. After taking her time to get back to work, she failed to wash her hands before she stepped behind the register. I brought a $2 coupon printed on a prior receipt to use, unfortunately, the manager wasn't in the building at that moment- so the cashier simply told me, 'sorry can't use the coupon right now.' Really, I was a repeat customer and you won't do the right thing? There was a young man working in the back wearing a backpack. It appeared that he maybe was scheduled to leave but was staying to help out. The store was filthy and in disarray. After paying for my order, I returned to the vehicle with my sister. We went through the drive-thru line to pick up the to-go order. It took about 20 minutes to get our order. We got home about 5 minutes or so after picking up the order. The food was still warm and tasty. We got one of the potatoes and the Orange cranberry sandwich. I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. It was filthy, employees openly not washing their hands and generally in a state of disarray, yet the food was tasty. I may go back, but I will definitely go inside when ordering. If the store is that filthy again, I won't be ordering. If a cashier, whom everyone can see, does not wash her hands- well, it's scary to think about what is going on in the kitchen. I went here for lunch on Thursday and it was by far the worst experience. I ordered a custom chicken bacon ranch sandwich and I was waiting for almost 30 minutes til I went up and asked what was taking so long. The manager and the one lady that had that mask on were super unprofessional they never even apologized for it taking so long. If I could have negative stars, I would. I don't normally come on here to write reviews, but this place earned their one start. I've never seen a place so poorly organized and run so inefficiently. Only come here if you want to be sure to wait 25+ minutes for your very overpriced and likely not-made-correctly sandwich. You'll be lucky if you can find someone working the front counter. Line of customers inside all the way back to the door. Line of 15+ cars wrapped around the parking lot trying to get their orders. When I came inside to ask about the extreme wait outside I was rudely told I'd have to keep "just keep waiting". No thank you. Not coming here again and you should do yourself the favor, save your frustration and go somewhere else. You'll thank me. They should honestly consider shutting this place down considering the terrible management and the sheer amount of frustration being provided to their customers. Walked in and waited for no less than two minutes while cashier stood with back to me playing on her phone. She was polite when taking my order so no complaints there. Waited 15 minutes for my one sandwich and bag of chips. There were only three other people in the store at the time and they had already received food so the 15 minutes seemed excessive. Once my food came, my plate, pickle(that I didn't order) and bag of chips were completely covered in some sort of orange sauce that wasn't on my sandwich. It would have literally not been possible to look at the plate and not see the orange sauce covering everything. Pascagoula location-Delivery orders ordered through the McAlister app are almost always missing a significant part of the order. This store will not refund the items not delivered, they won't deliver the missing items, they make you drive to the store to pick up the missing items, defeating the purpose of you paying to have it delivered. This has happened to me 3 deliveries in a row. They blame the driver, accusing them of stealing the items, but who steals salad dressing without the salad, or nacho toppings without the nacho chips? read more

If I could I'd give zero stars! We ate here at this location earlier this week. I love McAlister's in general - have been eating at one location or another for years but this location has been horrible! First experience was last year during the week of Thanksgiving - we ordered through door dash. All 3 orders were wrong one way or another! We had the correct foods just not the way we had ordered them. I thought up until earlier this week it was door dash - Nopes! My b/f and I decided to go eat there (ok I decided since he had never been to one). Went to order - he ordered what he wanted even had a conversation about if the lady taking our order had liked it or not and then I told her what I wanted, we paid and sat down. My food came out and we waited for my b/f's. 5 minutes after waiting wanting to eat my getting cold soup, I went to ask an turned out she didn't even put his order in apparently so I had to tell her yet again what he wanted and then we had to wait longer. By the time he finally got his food my soup was cold. On top of that they didn't have any big cups just kids sizes. Even more they didn't offer an incentive for the inconvenience. I ordered and paid off of the app and when my husband went in to pick it up they could not find the order even with the confirmation number supplied! So he reordered and paid again!!!! The next day I looked at our checking account and saw we had 2 charges!
