Starting off with the food. My party ordered the chicken shawarma, coconut shrimp, Mediterranean shrimp, Greek salad, baba ganoush, and meat pies. 4 of the 6 orders were fantastic! Chicken Shawarma was extremely good and a 10/10 comfort food even though it wasn't a traditional shawarma it was the winner of all for flavor. Order extra sauce for $1 your rice will thank you. Coconut shrimp were exactly what you hope for in Coconut shrimp but I would recommend ordering these as an appetizer with extra marmalade. Mediterranean Shrimp- I would not recommend, mainly because the shrimp themselves were bad. The sauce was a unique strawberry, mango, kiwi situation that was quite lovely. Adding it was $29.00 for 7 medium bad shrimp and a pile of rice, definitely not a good value. Not even a veggie served with it. Meat pie was super average. They were tiny, dry and not served with a sauce, just a little pico de gallo. Definitely skip these unless you like dry average meat pies. Baba ganoush was a great flavorful choice good for sharing. Greek salads were heavily dressed and quite enjoyable. Now for the whole reason for my review. We were here celebrating my mom with a birthday lunch and the server completely ruined it. I think it's important for the owners to know who it was because this lady is bringing your restaurant down. She was about 50, small/medium build, frazzled looking, acted like she was completely aggravated to have a table and started by slinging waters at us. Splashing water several times all of the table. The only way to really describe her is bull in a china shop. After she walked away we all said she looks like and acts like a drug addict who needs her next hit. After the initial bad first impression we were served sodas and the flavor was bad. We told her and she acted like we were complaining toddlers. She brought more after she fixed the carbonation and they were still bad. We just dealt with it. I don't think she hated us she just seemed miserable which made us uncomfortable and frankly not enjoy our meal. Point of the post, if you go here and happen to be this lady if she isn't terminated first, ask for a new server so you can enjoy your meal. Owners- fire this lady, she's really bringing your place down. We were there for lunch on January 7th

The service was so fast and our server was very attentive. We came an hour before closing but the food was made to perfection. One of the best steaks i've ever had! This place must have been popping off in the mid-late 2000s. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was even a live saxophone performer![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt right at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] their menu has a broad selection from seafood to chicken to steak. You can't go wrong with anything. 10/10 would recommend!!

Service slow & food not good. "Greek salad" was just lettuce and balsamic and blah. Cesar dressing was not good. Post the salads we waited forever for the entree. I had one bite of my blackened trout and not one more it tasted like mullet. Chicken Shawarma was off putting and was left on the plate at the end of the meal. We watched other people leave without being served and wish we'd left too. I hate being on vacation and getting bad food and service. We skipped desert for fear of it being bad too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area was lively and has many food choices so maybe others are better just not this one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came to the Cruise the Coast and stayed mostly in Ocean Springs. Heading hone today and wanted to try breakfast before we hit the road. This is just about the only place open on a Sunday morning. Plus, it has outdoor seating so our dog can join us. Yay! Jessica is a great server! Our breakfasts were great too. I ordered the egg white omelet with an avocado. My spouse ordered Spanish omelet. Jessica was great about bringing water for us and the dog. Would come again! You should check it out!

Is brunch only on Sundays at this place?

I am sorry - I was the guest of the area and don't know about any particular limits or openings. The best would be to call the restaurant directly. I must tell - they are very caring and helpful people.

The restaurant reminded me of "Grandma's Haus" without the overwhelming aging smell. I wasn't hungry much, but wanted a bite to eat. My boyfriend was indeed starving and was ready to sink his teeth into some Greek food! We were immediately greeted by this nice and kind server, she was attentive and gave us patience when ordering. I ordered a Greek salad minus the feta cheese. My boyfriend got the gyro sandwich, fries, and zucchini fritters. Our server jokingly questioned why I wanted to opt the cheese, but I gladly told her to make it vegan at which she agreed that she could. I wasn't expecting the salad to be a massive portion, but geez louise, it was colossal with half cut tomatoes, large cucumbers (not the Kirby ones), long strips of purple onions, thick lettuce, the brightest and tangy banana peppers, unpitted Kalamata olives with a housemade viniaigrette. The salad was enough for two, but it was overwhelmingly delicious to finish for one. The olives were a tad bit harder to eat since the pits remained in there, not good for anyone that could struggle with swallowing or can choke easily. I did struggle to fit the tomatoes in my tiny mouth which they needed to be cut more. I haven't had a good salad with that portion size in a while. My boyfriend said that the food was good, but that it doesn't beat Aladdin Mediterranean Grill in Jackson. I could agree that the food was solid. The prices definitely matched what I used to spend at Dimassi's Mediterranean buffet (in Houston, TX) back in the early 2012-2018 before COVID hit. I actually miss those days when everything was dirt cheap. You can't go wrong at Mr. Greek if you are wanting tasty food and you are craving Greek.

I was here for lunch on a Saturday. It was empty when I arrived but by the time I left it was pretty full. Lots of locals and regular customers talking about how good it is. I can attest. My food was fresh and delicious. I can't attest for its' authenticity, but it is as good as any Greek food I have had elsewhere. Service was quick. I was seated immediately and the lady brought my drink out right away. She kept the refills coming and my glass never got empty. After I ordered, my food came out very quickly. She kept checking on me, and the restaurant started to fill up, but I never felt any pressure like she was trying to hustle me out and turn the table. This was good, because my plate was so large that it took me a while to eat it all! My food was a little bit pricey for a lunch, but it was so nice that I feel it was worth it. I will definitely go back. There are a number of other menu items I want to try.

I requested thin and crispy crust which was a departure from my usual request of regular crust. The crust was definitely thin, but hardly crispy. More like thin and soggy with the toppings overwhelming the crust. I mentioned it to the host as we departed after asking if they would like some feedback on our dining experience. We got a "so sorry, have a nice night" response. Not how I would have responded if this were my business. Diners can take this for what it's worth. Other than the quality of food, the service is adequate. They usually bring out the pizza in short order but don't usually have anyone that visits tables to ensure your food is satisfactory.

We tried both the cheese sticks and the olive bread cheese sticks - we ended up liking the regular best but it was fun to try a variety! We also ordered a Greek salad and this salad was exceptional!! The ingredients - fire roasted tomatoes, artichokes, roasted red peppers, goat cheese, romaine, and Greek dressing paired together for one of the best salads we've had a long time! So delicious!! I placed my order online - the pickup time was super accurate and the staff was super friendly when we came in to grab our order! We didn't eat inside but the place looked super cute and like a great place to bring a family for a pizza night out!! I ordered the flavored champagne flight during brunch and specifically asked for very light syrup because the drinks are usually extremely sweet. When the flight came out, it tasted exactly the same as the regular version -- overwhelmingly sweet to the point that I genuinely could not drink it. When I politely mentioned it, the bartender/manager said "that's just how it comes" and initially refused to do anything about it. I sent the flight back and ordered a plain glass of champagne instead. Our server told us she would speak to the manager and have her come talk to us, but apparently the manager refused multiple times because she was "too busy." Eventually, the same flight was brought back out after they said they had poured some out and added more champagne on top. Unfortunately, it was still far too sweet, and I still couldn't drink two of the four glasses. What disappointed me most wasn't even the drinks -- it was the customer service. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive attitude from management and lack of concern made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. The server also seemed irritated at being caught in the middle rather than interested in resolving the situation. I still tipped 20% because I know serving isn't easy, but after today I honestly don't see myself coming back.
