Just the best food and atmosphere. Krystal was wonderful and very helpful with the menu. We sat outside and people watched for a while. Just a perfect moment!!

This business is located in downtown Ocean Springs. When my family visited, parking was easy to find. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the waitress, who promptly handed us menus. The space was clean and had a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Fat Spoon Breakfast Sandwich and really enjoyed it. The egg was perfectly cooked, and the sausage had great flavor without being too salty. Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meal.

Customer service was on point and super friendly. Nice small restaurant that gives me Nola vibes. Everything we ordered was super delicious and well seasoned. If you're in the area please stop in.. I'm sad I didn't have room for the biscuits because they looked incredible..

We loved Fat Spoon Cafe! As first timers in Biloxi, we were looking for local eateries with good food. After looking through Yelp reviews, we landed on Fat Spoon for brunch. What a great choice! Good service, and a number of choices on the menu! Our waitress treated us like family, and the small, intimate dining area was a joy! We ordered, beignet fries, grits with debris, a biscuit, and eggs Benedict with potatoes. All were excellent. Especially the grits with debris! The biscuits are the best I've ever tasted! And I've tasted them all across the country!I would not hesitate to recommend Fat Spoon to everyone! Give it a try!

Love love this small breakfast spot. The service is always so genuine. The breakfast is so good and filling. Omelette was huge and perfect! It's a great family oriented spot. Those mimosas were on point!! A whole bottle of champagne!! I definitely recommend this one to be added to your breakfast go to's!

Fat Spoons in Ocean Springs, MS did not disappoint! The Shrimp and Grits are the BEST in Mississippi, no debate. Chef Zack was super gracious, and like he said himself--he really put his foot in it. Well Zack absolutely put his foot, ankle and his heart and soul into this dish! I am so proud to say this place is top-notch and I can't wait to come back with friends and family. Thank you.

We visited this place 3 days in a row while in Biloxi, and everything we tried was delicious! The eggs Florentine were AMAZINGGGG and the eggs Benedict too!! The place is cute and nearby a lot of different businesses and has a nice, laid back vibe. The service was top notch, all three servers we had were attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go back!!

Great food, service and location! Beignet sticks were great, large omelets and creamy grits. Our server, Krystal provided exceptional service.

We stopped into Fat Spoon Cafe on a whim. Ocean Springs is my hometown so I love trying places that weren't there when I was a child. The inside is kinda small but there's plenty room. They had a little late lunch crowd but service was quick and professional. Everyone working there seemed eager to help one another out. My daughter had a burger (some kinda smokey something burger with caramelized onions nad mushrooms). She loved it. Fries were really good, too! I had a standard breakfast of two scrambled eggs, cheese grits, bacon, and a biscuit that was like heaven! Oh man, that thang was so tall and soft like a pillow. I wanted to take a nap on it and devour it at the same time. Nothing was particularly special, butter, jam, honey all prepackaged average stuff. Price was reasonable. Nice little spot. We left full, that's for sure! Another review giving it to you straight, no chaser! Enjoy!

Fat Spoon Cafe is a new brunch spot in Ocean Springs that's a great new choice! We tried this for the first time on a Sunday and everything was a good experience! First, service was quick, great, and friendly. They consistently checked on us and got us everything we needed. Our food selections below were great! The Belgian waffle was soft and fluffy and our egg dishes were cooked just right. At this visit, we sat outside as the weather was great but the restaurant had outside and inside seating - ambiance is a laid back brunch spot, check it out!

There is a large parking lot located on 1 side of the restaurant offering ample parking. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We were met by the hostess upon entering and decided to dine inside. I saw 3 different dining rooms inside and a bar. So lots of seating. Our server, Alyssa was very nice and had a lot of patience with us. Thank you for that. She eventually took our order once we were ready and the food came out shortly later. I ordered a classic omelet with hashbrowns. The omelet consisted of 8 eggs. Wow!!! It was fluffy and tasted light. It took me about 30 minutes to consume all of it. Btw, Alyssa seemed impressed that I had. Well, all the plates were filled and my 2 friends were unable to eat all of their meals...good luck in advance! Thank you Lazy Oak and Alyssa for a delightful morning!

They may want to consider adding small table fans designed to keep flies away, as we were constantly dealing with flies while trying to eat. It was a sunny day with a light breeze, so the issue was still noticeable. I ordered the Berry Sherbet Mimosa, ( nothing special) For an appetizer, we had the beignets. They reminded me more of empanadas than traditional beignets. The green sauce was delicious, though-I would definitely recommend asking for extra sauce. The nicest part of the experience, besides our waitress, was that they recognize and honor veterans, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some good flavors and positive touches, but also a few details that could be improved. ( the one is for the flies )

First thing when I walked in the door, that's what I heard. I should've turned around and walked out right there. The hummus was without flavor, but I'm used to fresh robust flavors in my authentic hummus. The pita was clearly left on the counter without being covered and so it was chewy, stale, reminiscent of a dog eating a rawhide and not edible. Hard pass. Even though our server was very pleasant, there was extreme inconsistencies coming from the kitchen that could not be resolved. With the owner sitting at the front table and the daughter at the front desk, there was clearly a sense of tenseness throughout the establishment. After being in the Mediterranean myself, this is not a Mediterranean restaurant and it confuses me for it to say Mexican on the menu. I'll try back in another eight years.

Is it even a proper vacation in Biloxi if you don't give this place a visit for breakfast? The answer is NO !! When your motto is It's never too early to get toasted!! You are talking my language and that's how you start a proper vacation day:) We left Alabama in the wee hours of the morning to get here before they opened. We ordered at 7:04 am . A grapefruit mimosa for me and two Irish coffees for my husband and son. My son pretty much gets the same thing everytime an Arnold . This time it was a West coast Arnold w/ hash brown casserole . He ate it up!! I got the Dragon fruit pancakes 2 pc . Man one pancake was plenty and yes they are as big as the plate. Hubbie got the pork chop breakfast . On the 16th (our leave day) I got the (2)Strawberry Hibiscus Spritz and my son got a Cappuccino cooler. Hubs had to drive back home so he just got a coffee. Hubbie got the chicken and waffles , I got the yolk lovers breakfast with cheese grits ( When you are in the South Grits must be eaten at least one meal of the day) and my son got his Southwest Arnold again lol! My son looked at his mug and said I want one . Yes they sell them for 31.99 eek a bit high for my blood but He bought it himself. He has been using it everyday since We got back home. He said He will probably buy another in July. It's a solid breakfast place and enjoyable if you get here before the crowds.
