Reuben

McAlister's is a go-to for good sandwiches, tea, and lemonade. This time I got a Reuben and it was alright. Somehow the Swiss cheese was the prominent flavor. The Jalapeño Turkey Crunch is also a really good sandwich. This location has plenty of seating and it wasn't very busy when I was there.

We had just finished a couple of very good sandwiches and were headed out the door with our drinks in hand. The attentive young lady behind the counter asked "Would you all like to have those refilled before you leave?" That was Lucy. I have dined at several of the McAlister's Delis around Tulsa. This one is my favorite. I have never had bad food or a bad service here. What I especially like about McAlister's Deli is the variety/options on the menu and not having to eat my sandwich from a paper lined plastic tray. Today was the Memphian, a big thick, warmed meaty sandwich. I ordered the tomato and cucumber salad as the side. A fresh delicious healthy side. My wife had the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey and a side of Potato Salad. The service was prompt and friendly. Clean, comfortable, restaurant. When a business puts the right person in the right position it makes a noticeable difference. Today, Lucy was working the cash register taking orders. A friendly, welcoming, young lady who made a very positive impression, setting the tone for our pleasant dining experience.

Had a long day working in Tulsa. Decided to grab dinner at McAlister's and head back to the hotel to finish reports. That King Club was TERRIFFIC!!!

We decided to dine in today for our meals, it was quite busy but service was quick and easy and still plenty of seats available not too close to others, took maybe 5-7 minutes for us to get our food which was a ham and cheese melt with their country baked potato soup and a horseradish roast beef and cheddar with the same soup. The workers were friendly despite the lunch rush, no trash was on the floors and tables were cleaned. Food was hot and overall delicious, little runny on the soup, great place for a quick bite!

Jalapeño Turkey crunch

I've been a regular at the Broken Arrow location for quite some time now but I was near the memorial location and decided to give it a try. I ordered the jalapeño turkey crunch and the sweet chipotle chicken sandwich, my sandwich was a mess, there was no avocado and either sandwich (which is a big part of the jalapeño turkey crunch sandwich) the turkey in both sandwiches were COLD, the meat and cheese were just slapped on there ( not even centered on the bread) and with a layer of mayonnaise about half an inch thick. I've never been so disappointed in a meal. To top it all off, when I went inside to pick up my order, a teenager came out from the kitchen WITHOUT A MASK and proceeded to talk to another guy by the counter and cussing about how he didn't want to work there. Very disappointing experience at this location

I kept going back & forth between 4-5 stars and the reason it was 5 was because of the customer…read moreservice. As the sandwiches are listed on the menu, you're asked (at the register) if you'd like whatever fixings that go with the sandwich. I got the Turkey and Cheese with lettuce & pickles, I added jalapeños & jalapeño sauce. I liked the creamy Italian sauce too. The sandwich was stacked. Plenty of turkey, plenty of lettuce, plenty of pickles and jalapeños. The sauce was there and wasn't an overload, just the right amount. The sandwiches come in small or large & I'm glad I got the small. The combos come with chips and a drink, they have one of my favorite chip brands, Miss Vickie's (Spicy Dill Pickle is an automatic pick for me). I wish I got the name of the dude who took my order. He was super cool, laid back & nice. He asked me if it was my first time in & I said yes (I always ordered pickup) and got to choose between the 3 cookie options they had for free. Their oatmeal raisin cookie doesn't taste like your average, see for yourself. *Side Note: Did Bill & Ruth's specialize in mainly cold sandwiches? The reason why I ask is because I never remembered being offered between wanting my sandwich cold or hot.*

This sandwich was great, it was prepared quickly, staff were attentive and friendly. When they…read moreheard it was my first time in they gave me a free cookie. They also have a drive through! I'm glad I went here rather than a big chain and I will definitely be back!

It is definitely divey, but oh my gosh-the food is delicious and a great price. Can easily get full off of an $8-9 shawarma or kebab wrap. The plates are about $11-13 and great if you are more of a meats and rice kinda person. I suggest trying different types of kebab. The hummus is really authentic and creamy. It tastes like all the hummus I had in Palestine and Jordan. The family who owns and runs this place are sweet and keep it clean. If you've never had kofta kebab, try that first as a chicken/kofta kebab plate. I really am a huge fan of the folks running this hole in the wall, and the great food is such a treat!

I wish I had eaten inside because by the time i got home the bread was a bit moist but the sandwich…read morewas still hot enough to steam up my glasses 15 minutes later. The Reuben i got was fresh and hot. The meat was sliced thin and it was tender. They used Kraft thousand island dressing on it but didn't take away from the sandwich. I just wish I'd sprung for the extra meat. Not sure if $8 for sandwich only is the usual in the area but I dont think it was too much to pay. I dont have anything to compare. Service was fast as I was the only patron ordering and only one other customer was seated eating. I know a reuben is meant for rye but I wanted to change breads . I was informed that I couldn't and decided to order anyway. The place is in a small storefront with a few tables but it seems like it has its regulars. It was clean and pretty quiet besides the TV playing in the background.
