Second time stopping by CAVA, but my first time at this location. I was away from home, saw one nearby, and decided to stop in since I really enjoyed my first experience at another location. The lady who initially took my order was super nice and patient. Since it was only my second time there, I was trying to decide if I wanted to try something different, but I ended up getting the same thing I had before and a chicken and rice bowl made the way they had it on the board. The only thing I added was avocado, because I love avocado on everything! The food itself was great, just like the first time. Unfortunately, the guy who checked me out kind of changed the vibe a bit. He came across pretty rude, and I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day or what, but it definitely stood out. This place is so good, it's a way better option than chipotle and a way better option than Chick-fil-A. You will not be disappointed on what you order here we came in close to closing, and the manager was still so kind and helpful to us. My sis from San Diego told me I had to go there. Being the beautiful health nut that she is, I had to try. And since then, I've been a FAN! The food is delicious. Build your own grain and greens bowl, with options of the greens/rice/lentils/meat or meatless options and the divine dips that come alongside them. It's pretty spectacular! I had the half and half Harissa and lentil bowl and was so satisfied with it. Cava also has their house juices to chose from. The cucumber mint lime did it for me. I love Cava. I usually get the Greek salad but enjoy the lemon chicken salad also. If you haven't been, you stand in line to order and it is like an assembly line where the employee adds to your bowl. They have great drink choices, i.e. different lemonades. Also tried their blueberry lavender drink and it is also delicious! Service was excellent and very friendly, got through the line quick before church crowd came in. I order the same grain bowl every time; sometimes it's a full bowl, other times they give 1/2 the bowl for $14.75 if you order extra chicken, you pay for it but do not get it- and the rice is undercooked and hard. Went on a Sunday, there was a lunch crowd starting to form but nothing that took more than 5-10 minutes to move through the line. Once in line they were out of most of their signature staples, pickled onions, house made pickles and a one of the dressings. I asked the guy if they were out or just wouldn't get any from the back. He informed me that they would have to make more of their pickled sides. I'm going to say "yeah-right" on this one. You're telling me at 11:30 on a weekend you're out of those already and you make them that quickly? The floors were so dirty, food and debris were everywhere. The crowd was just gathering, mind you.
