Beware...you may not be doing business with who you think. I called McAtlin Electrical to request a dining room ceiling fan take down and light fixture installed in place of the fan. Service was far from a ball on fire. Took an hour to take down the fan. Took another hour to put up the light crossbar and ask me if I bought the light online. I did. He shook his head and said the right screws weren't in the parts bag. Technician told me to go buy a couple different lengths of 10/32 screws and get some paint sticks (I assume since the ceiling is a bit bowed). I think an electrical company would have a variety of screws, shims, paint sticks in their truck inventory. I may be wrong. To save me money (!) he said he would leave and that I needed to specifically call Sharon, at the office, to make another appointment to finish the job after I got the parts he told me to buy. I got the requested parts, made another appointment for yesterday noonish. I had a 2:00pm appointment yesterday and I cancelled at 1:30pm as a technician hadn't shown up yet. I am paying $210 for taking a ceiling fan done. Invoice came today from McAtlin Electrical, Sam Nichols Electrical, Inc. Time to find a new electrician. read more

Great company. Very fast service. Highly recommended. Yesterday, I called to have a new circuit added for an air conditioner I had installed in my garage. Less than an hour later, Don (the manager) was at my house to give me an estimate. I accepted what I felt was a very reasonable price and the service was scheduled for 6:00AM the next morning. Tim (the technician) arrived right on time this morning and did the work. He did the job quickly and did quality work. He even cleaned up after himself, sweeping up bits of insulation that had ended up on the garage floor when he cut the hole in the ceiling for the new outlet. Before calling this company, I had checked Yelp and found 4 electrical contractors near me, but none of them had any reviews. If I could give this place less than 1 star I certainly would .I called to make an appointment because I had electrical issues in one of the complexes I take care of. They made me wait a week and a half only to come out and tell me that the busses were burnt in the panel which is exactly why I called them. The electrician said he would ask his boss if they could replace the busses or need a new panel. After that NOTHING! It has now been 5 days shy of a month and I have called them 3 times and each time the receptionist Sharon has said she would find out from the boss what was going on and then never calls back. I've never seen a more unprofessional electrical company in my life. If you have issues save yourself a huge headache and find someone else. Oh and by the way I explained to them there was an elderly lady in the unit and her power was intermittent because of the issue and as we all know summers in havasu are extremely hot! Do not use these people without firm price! I ordered a simple electrical line to run from an electrical box to an outside garage wall, approximately 24 feet. First Electrician spent 5 hours @$85 per hour going up and down a ladder as he claimed tight space. Took his lunch break and 30 minute run to the supply house! [Would have thought he would have had the supplies with him since he knew what the order entailed?] Then another guy shows up for 40 minutes and bills me 1.5 hours??? Explained to me as includes travel time???? And I know exact times from my security camera! DO NOT TO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Unless you have more dollars than sence! read more

I have a vacation trailer in Lake Havasu, I had a circuit short out on one of my visit's I was able to call at 4 PM and have someone out the next day @ 7:30 AM. My tech was a few minutes early, not late, he was knowledgeable, patient and worked through the problem and had my repair completed just in time to bet the heat.. I would recommend this company and will use them for any future electrical needs! read more

On 5/29/18 we called for an electrician I don't know your technicians name but he did a great job

Call them out to detect a fault in an underground line, showed up with wrong equipment, had to drive all the way back to Lake Havasu to get the right equipment, was a bit surly about it, came back and read instructions on equipment, failed to find the fault in the line, said nothing was wrong and left leaving us with four mobile homes without power. Two days later we purchased a $900.00 fault detector and found the fault in 10 minutes, and we made the repairs, the next day we received a bill for $282.78, called their office and asked why we were being charged for a fault that wasn't detected, we were told that there were no guarantees and that they wouldn't take the invoice back, the electrician wrote on the billing invoice that he detected three faults. Wanted to upgrade my current 30 amp to a 50 amp service for my RV. Filled out the online form on McAtlin's website asking for help and to my surprise they actually called back quickly. Within 24 hours of completing the online form an electrician was at my house, gave me an estimate, then completed the work that same day. A day later via email I received a bill that was less than the estimate. The electrician that did the work was polite, efficient and straight-forward. Definitely will use this company again for any electrical requirement I have. Great service and everything they did looks and works great! read more
