It was indicated to me that a nurse from La Grange would call. "It shouldn't be too long because we aren't busy today." That was the first lie. Was told to go to emergency room as quickly as possible. Admitted to St. Marks after ER visit suffering from hernia. Tests indicated a heart problem also. Transferred by ambulance to St. Davids in Austin. After several tests at St. Marks in La Grange and at St. Davids in Austin underwent heart cath and later the same day hernia surgery to repair two hernias. Hospital said VA refused to pay because I never saw a VA doctor before going to ER. I was refused an appointment with the doctor so that was impossible. After five days in two hospitals I was released and told to make a followup appointment within two weeks with my primary care physician at the VA. Called for appointment and was told I had to wait until May 8th which was four weeks from the surgeries. There is nothing to be done about any of this but everyone connected with this clinic from the doctor to the jack ass at the desk have lost my respect. Good luck to all who are forced to go to this clinic. Maybe the VA would pay, maybe they wouldn't but if the first requirement was a face to face with the VA doctor, that possible outcome was taken away by the refusal to see me.

When I asked why it took 4 days to get meds filled, she made it a point to look it up on their system to tell me it only took 3 days. Okay but your system says it takes 24 hours to 48 only. I disagree but, whatever. Point is, why is the nursing staff have zero bedside manner? She was so grumpy and unpleasant to deal with. I set up tele health as often as possible now. I had labs done recently and its the 4th day still no results listed. I had the lab work done in your building, why is it still not posted? I told her that couldn't be because I had told the nurse that I would be out of state. She said she still didn't have me on the list so I pulled out the appointment card SHE filled out so she put me on the list as a walk in so I had to wait another 35 minutes to be seen for her clerical error. So then I decided I would prefer a VBAC and Dr. Juno did not perform those so I had to find another OB. When I did I had to start a transfer process. I was told by the new OB's office that I should still keep all my appointments so I showed up to my next one (keep in mind Dr. Juno's office NEVER called me) and was denied being seen because they had received a request for medical records. By law she can't do that. So the short time I was with her was unfortunately not at all how you'd like to be treated.
