They said they couldn't but after hearing us describe what we thought was the problem, they insisted we bring the car in because they were worried about a potential catastrophic accident. Then as soon as we pulled in our car alarm started going off for no apparent reason. Once they got the alarm dealt with, they got the car up on the jack, had their guy look at it and turns out it wasn't the springs but something much more minor. They said we were good to continue our travels, but that we needed to get it checked as soon as we got back to SC. Most places would've taken one look at us as out of towners and tried to take us for all we were worth. Not Hadjii and his team. We even tried to tip them and they refused our money. Seriously, if you ever need anything done to your car, I don't care what it is, these are your guys. Honest, knowledgeable, morally upright and thorough. Got my car in earlier then scheduled. Confirmed that the alternator is bad but admitted they couldn't do it due to some environmental restrictions. Nonetheless they re-charged the battery for me at no charge other than the 20$ to diagnose the alternator. So due to their kindness. I'll be bringing my car back on other things they can work on. Oh and Johnny on the spot with phone calls and not making me wait for information. Which helped me get it somewhere to get it replaced. Discount tire is now earned my business for putting my tires on because they have free rotations for life no matter if you buy the tires there or not.. however I am paying for my rotations at Firestone even when I have my oil change there. Otherwise I have had no other problems. I've had good service there. They're always attentive to me. They cannot hop the rules of upper management.

I got a call the next morning - "you had a couple of lug nuts loose. We checked the studs for damage and all the others luge and you're all set. $40." Another time I took my car in for brakes. After 120k miles I was ready for a four wheel brake job. Nope, only the fronts needed new pads and the rotors were good just resurfaced. The backs were great after adjustment. Benefits of highway driving but still, no upselling and quality work. If I buy from TireRack or some other place online for tires, they gladly accept the delivery for me. Although sometimes they can get even better deals for me. Each time I was ready and willing to pay a lot more but these guys are honest and true. Only charged what I needed and a fair price to boot. This shop has been here since before I was born and if they keep this quality going - they'll be here long after I'm gone. No other tire shop compares. No, they're not open on the weekend but I'll gladly schedule around that to avoid the shoddy work from other franchises that are.
