Wheelchair was delivered to the hotel on time, it was a quality chair, and then was picked up from the hotel on the day of my departure. It was so easy to make the reservation, and the rental cost was very reasonable. It made my trip so easy! I would definitely do business with McCann's again! read more

This place has a good selection and a good service department. But on at least 4 occasions I've called them and not have calls returned. I call that bad service. Maybe they are too busy but I didn't find them friendly. I once asked to see if an item was able to be rented and the sales person went to the desk and didn't return after 10-15 minutes and didn't provide an update. I both the walker somewhere else. Another time an associate was coughing during Covid and I asked if they could wear a face mask and the person she it was allergies and she wouldn't wear one. Even so, during covid people often took the more precautionary approach and would at least wear a mask if asked. For a business to not honor this request is not customer friendly. We've been there several times and never received friendly service. The store in Beaverton at least asnwered the phone when I called. If you want good and friendly service. Go elsewhere. They said it would take a week for them to have it shipped from their Two weeks later I called; they said nothing was done. AVOID this place AT ALL COSTS! I was quoted a similar price by two different employees, one over the phone & one in store. Then charged double that price at the register! And while in the store waiting in line employees don't know how lines work because they call people up at the end of the line to the register instead of the next person in line closest to the register. My mom's walker had a wheel fall off and I took it to McCanns with no idea how much repairs would be. I was greeted pleasantly and they took it right back. In remarkedly short time a tech came out with the repaired walker. He explained what it had needed and what he found when he inspected it otherwise. He gave it a good going over and tuned it up. Wheel repairs on walkers are $5 plus parts. This was a totally positive experience and I have no hesitation recommending them to you. read more

Went in with 3 fractured toes to get a walking boot. The clerk seemed to snarl at me when I walked in. Showed me to the shoes. Give me one to try one. Left. Didn't fit. Had to go find her. Never offered to order me one. I asked if they had other stores. She was taking things out of boxes and acted bothered. Most places would have called another one of their stores, to see if one was in stock. She struggled just to tell me where other McCann's were. Very frustrating when you're not feeling so great, hurting and don't feel like running around town. I'll never go back to that store. I've been going there for years. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and how they have treated Ron. Ron was a little down after he sold his car and felt he might be trapped in the house, but since he got his electrical scooter, not a word has been said. He is a very gregarious person and let's nothing hold him back. Again I recognize that this is mainly Ron's project, but I was there in February when he bought the scooter, and I have ridden it several times as well. It's very zippy and fun. It has a range of about 6 mph, and the batteries last about 15-20 miles. If you need something like this, McCanns will do right by you and treat you very well read more

Apparently, actual customer service is not a driving value at the Gresham McCanns. Although they were not helping any other customers, neither of the two men got up from their seats to help me carry in the heavy parts to the scooter I brought in for repair. They didn't offer to assist or even open the door. When I returned to pick up the scooter and the pair of heavy batteries, it was the same story. Am I to think just because I didn't have to ride in that I am not due respect and assistance? Too bad this place is so nearby, I won't be returning. Actions speak for themselves. I was irritated after the first visit by the lack of help, but clearly after second visit this is just they way they do business. This is a store specializing in mobility assistance. My fault for thinking they would readily offer assistance. read more

Rented a lift chair due to just having surgery. Called with questions about the chair, and was told to order it online, ok. The website is problematic, so I called and was placed on hold for 12 minutes with no answer. Called back and put on hold again. Last person I spoke to said the chair would be delivered between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. At 3:30 I called and was told the driver was helping with inventory and got a late start, ok? It's now after 5:00 and this time I was told the driver thought the order was cancelled and was on his was back from Hillsboro? What! At first they wanted to reschedule the delivery for the following day, or the driver can still come today, but it will be 6:30 to 7:00 pm. We shall see. VERY DISSAPOINTED and after surgery this is the last thing I feel like dealing with. I'm glad the rest of my care team is not hours late. Not cool Mccann's! read more

Two out of the 3 employees were pretty incompetent in helping me replace a battery for my Pride Go Go scooter (purchased at the Gresham store in 2019 or 2918). The only knowledgeable one is the service tech. I was quoted $140 for battery replacement, over the phone, so I arranged a ride and took the scooter in to be fixed ( they said they had the battery in stock). After leaving my scooter there for an hour until the tech returned (on a service call), it was determined that I needed a lithium battery replacement (at about $800). I tried to order one but the two were unable to complete this transaction or even give me a price or a timeline. I am frustrated and in pain and handicapped and I find this level of non-help to be less than useful. At this point I will probably just order the battery online and install it myself. I am frustrated and looking at 2 to 3 weeks until anything is resolved. Useless!!! read more

I love going to McCann's! No matter if I need a simple ACE bandage wrap, or a much more complex post-surgical boot, McCann's has it all in stock! The employees are friendly and helpful, and have no shortage of knowledge to match my medical queries. McCann's stocks the standard medical supplies that you could find at the local Fred Meyer, but they have a much wider variety of sizes, colors, and levels of support then one can find at the grocery store. Importantly though, they also have a MUCH larger stock of latex-free bandages and wrappings -- a necessity for any latex-allergic, accident prone athlete! read more

I've used McCanns four times now to rent a motorized scooter. Each time, I was treated extremely nice, the personnel were very helpful, and their integrity/honesty is excellent. We returned one scooter that we thought we damaged, and were prepared to pay for the damages, only to be told it was already damaged in that spot and they couldn't possibly charge us for a previous damage. Prices are quite reasonable and I'd never hesitate to recommend them. read more

Super friendly and helpful! Awesome rental policy with no deposit and very flexible especially if you don't know how long you will be keeping the rental - daily, weekly, or monthly. My husband had back surgery, was not prepared at all for what we had to have to care for him at home. I called and the same day had what I needed delivered! The person who took the call understood my urgency and even offered an experienced opinion on some things I hadn't thought of. The delivery guy was so nice and very professional, offered to help me move some furniture to accommodate the hospital bed I rented. The delivery & pickup were both on time and quick. I reserved a knee scooter over a week ago. I called today to confirm that it was ready for pick up tomorrow morning. They failed to follow through on the reservation and they had nothing available at either the Gresham or King City locations. Very poor customer service. I will never do business with them again. read more
