One of the stores I do miss since moving away from the PNW is Bi-Mart. Seems kinda strange doesn't it? The store has a good deal of nostalgia for me, memories as a kid and family trips in. This location does not disappoint, they have a ton of items to offer at really good prices. The staff is helpful and genuinely friendly. WOW, rude staff. Had a return and lady pushed an exchange when I told her twice I just wanted to return for my money back. At register this lady (Marion) was over the top rude and wanted to see my receipt even though I had the yellow return slip from the customer service counter. Then she attempted to literally grab it from my hands, WTF. Yes literally tried to grab it. And then made a comment, "Well most people just hand it to me." I don't think there's anything special about Bi-Mart. The prices are not the cheapest, the place does not look modern, and the selection is okay. The store has a very old-fashioned feeling, not in a good way either. You have to pay a $5 membership fee that lasts forever. I don't know why they bother with that. Your information is kept in an old fashioned card catalog. I am sure everybody in the store has access to that. For some Twisted reason, I think one has the urge to go there. File this under old school for sure but I sure love going here and sometimes just because of that. To be a part of this "club" at Bi-Mart you pay $5.00 once for the rest of your life. It is employee owned (which says quite a lot these days) and that makes coming here all the more "classy". They have number games where members might win prizes if they pick your member number even. It's got an interesting supply of goods and groceries. This does include "ammo" should that be offensive to some, I guess then you won't be going here. I get that and I don't come here for the ammo but I do come here for the great prices on groceries, gardening items, cosmetics, and even toys/games. They also have a pharmacy as well as wine, beer and (shudder) cigarettes. I've been a "member" for over 30 years myself. It's not a place I frequent constantly but in a pinch I might be able to find good prices on halloween candy, old school gifts, reasonably priced wine, medicinals, and today I bought a "breakfast" tray for my hubby who's just had knee replacement surgery. You just don't know what they have here! I'd say they all get straight "A"s in this "old school" just for that. read more

This Bi-Mart has saved my hide on several occasions recently. Mexican themed Mother Day celebration & nobody brought chips? Bi-Mart to the rescue! 30 miles from home and need fluids for the vehicle? Bi-Mart saves the day with its big automotive department! The point is more often than not they have what you need. The prices are great. It's employee owned. And the selection is surprising. Pharmacy, home, garden, grocery, pet, sporting, auto, electronics, clothing, Health & beauty it's all here. My only let down- when our hosts ice maker couldn't keep up with the party goers demands I came here for ice. No ice. Cashier said they often get asked, my local Bi-Mart has ice- so get a machine and stick it outside already. Come here for everything but ice. read more

This store just makes you feel like the good old days in the 90's when people were very greet-able and caring. Always workers saying hi as you go through the store and asking how your day is going! The pharmacy is the best in all of Gresham and Portland In my opinion. Bill the pharmacist is a amazing and very detailed in helping you know everything about your prescription and has a great personality! All the technicians Kristen, Amy, Kathy, are so awesome and always bring a smile to your face every time you have to go get a prescription which is so nice when your battling a condition or after a surgery. Those little things go a long way and that's why I will only use there pharmacy and no where else. I highly recommend this wonderful Bi-Mart and pharmacy and hope this review was helpful! read more

I shop here all the time. I've spent a lot of time and especially money here on all kinds of sporting goods. The prices and sales are fantastic. They also have good sales on ammo. I bought a box of 44 mag for $8 on clearance one time. They have good firearm prices too. Slight Drawback: You do have to be a member. Cost 5 or 10 bucks to join (one time fee for lifetime membership). I've been a member forever. I've more than made my money back on savings! read more

Great prices and never too crowded. The staff here isn't very helpful. They don't even smile or actually help walk you over to what you need. They just point and say over there. Only one time I have been to this Bi-Mart where and older lady actually helped me in the electronics department part of the store. When I was in the fishing and knife department the lady there couldn't even walk me over to what I need and it was just in the lane right next to her. The two ladies working in the beauty department were too busy talking to eachother to even help me find what I needed and ended up not even wanting what I needed there so had to go to a different store. It may be a big store but they are limited on what you may really be looking for if it's brand name. Manager wasn't very helpful at all either and a bit condescending when I asked her about something. All zombies here. You're on your own if you need any real help. They just all assume the customers that walk in should know where everything is because there's a sign in lanes. read more

It's weird to me that you need a card to get into any store, especially bi-mart. The prices seem similar to other stores. I guess 5 dollars for a lifetime membership isn't too bad and i hear they have cheaper ammo. read more

These people sold me a defective Marlin 795 rifle. I was not allowed to look at it before I purchased it, they wouldn't even open the box so I could see if I was buying an empty box. I was given the box at the door on the way out. After opening the box, it took ten seconds to find out the Marlin rifle was defective. I called BiMart and they said they would not exchange it(didn't want to fill out the FFL paperwork again that cost ME $10) or refund my money. I had to send the rifle to a repair shop in Alaska(!!!), they said they couldn't fix it and the rifle was going back to the factory on the East Coast to be repaired by the same incompetent workers who couldn't build it right in the first place. I may get the rifle back in a month or so, maybe it will even be fixed. Who knows? One thing I do know; Bi-Mart sells junk. This isn't a fishing rod or a can of soup, this is a defective firearm that shoots bullets. Maybe you can give one of your kids a defective rifle for their birthday, perhaps they won't be injured. What a racket; they show you a display item then sell you a piece of junk you can't see, the easiest bait-and-switch scam there is. Save a few bucks at Bi-Mart? I don't think so. Go to a reputable store, pay a few bucks more and get something that works and won't hurt or kill anyone. read more
