I am in nurse and in women's health nurse practitioner school, so my back has been through it. I had a patient fall on me back in 2015 that caused chronic back pain that I just dealt with daily. I started my clinicals for school in March and one day just had flare up of terrible back pain and I was not able to attend my clinical that day so I tried stretching but that didn't help, I decided to try a chiropractor again. I came into TOR shaking to be honest, I did not have a good introduction to chiropractic work in my past so I was nervous seeking it out again. I had my x-rays and it was insane how bad my spine, back, and pelvis was. I wanted to help myself so that I could help others and I decided to make a treatment plan. I was thankful to have Dr. Amanda that day I came in because she is just such an amazing person. I told her I never wanted her to crack my neck (PTSD) and she said that was okay and we can work around it. So that first day, she started adjusting me and I immediately felt comfortable and trusted Dr. Amanda, I ended up telling her she can adjust my neck. Well 18 visits later... I am absolutely SHOCKED at how much my neck has changed from when I first came in!! And to think I almost didn't let her do adjustments on my neck! I am so so so thankful for Dr. Amanda for being so comfortable to be around and being gentle. I recently bent over and had a twinge in my back that was so painful I didn't want to move, and Dr. Amanda helped me so much to relieve the pain that same day and continues to everytime I come in. When I asked who I was texting, the response was unclear and a bit abrupt. Eventually I realized it was the massage place, but the communication was very difficult due to the language barrier and lack of clarity. Around 11:00, I was told they could only do a 60-minute massage if I came immediately, so I adjusted my schedule and arrived early. When I got there, the therapist used Google Translate to tell me she had another client at 12:30 and implied that if I had come earlier (which was never clearly communicated), she could have done the full 90 minutes. At that point, after the confusing communication and change of plans, I decided to leave. The space itself also felt a bit off to me--it had a strong chemical cleaning smell and didn't feel particularly welcoming or relaxing. Overall, the lack of clear communication and inconsistency made this a disappointing experience. I wasn't able to receive the service I had originally booked, and the entire interaction felt disorganized.

I've had a lot of so-so to acceptable but no one really stellar. Jennifer is very competent and her room is well decorated. I've only had two massages with her so far and frankly it does take a few massages while the therapist and client learn about each other and get comfortable. Interestingly enough while I was trying to find a replacement for my 37 year retired therapist I went to a highly recommended by two different Physical Therapists and found that one was expensive but more importantly not all that good.
