My providers here make me feel seen and heard. I appreciate everyone who's part of my care team. It is very obvious they care and want to help me with all relevant issues. Thank you.

I had an appointment here and this was the first time I have ever been to this clinic. I noticed that it was not very busy and had an interesting lay-out. The facility is easily accessible from both sides. They have a front and rear door. The lay out of the building makes it easy to get around. Sorry but I mean that for veterans who are not in wheel chairs. But with that said I have been to a few VA hospitals, clinics/CBOCs, regional offices, etc and this one has a pretty good lay-out of the facility. Getting here was a bit of a story. I actually went to their admistration building down the street. I thought that building was this clinic. Good thing they have signs posted on that building. Those signs lead me to the clinic and everything was well after that haha. Finding parking here is easy. They have those solar panels for shade and I assume that they used the energy to power some of the facilities power needs. Also at this VA Clinic it is right on an Air Force base or right next to one so you see a few Air Force personnel running around. I think it's pretty funny haha. It tripped me out because if this was close to a Marine base there would be more yelling and I would feel at home haha. In the main lobby they have a little cafe area to grab a quick bit to eat. I'm not from around here so this little cafe made it very easy and convenient to get something to eat. They also have coffee at this cafe. But if you want hard-dog coffee they have free coffee across the way from the information booth. When I first got in I went over to ask where compensation was and they guy at the booth was helpful. My experience at this VA clinic was good. I got what I needed done and they don't seem to have a lot of clients that come to this location. If I need anything else I would definitely consider coming back to this one. I say that because I live in Reno, Nevada. But if your close to this clinic I would recommend this clinic. Thank for reading my review.

Pretty efficient staff. Helped me understand seemingly confusing rules. I'm looking forward to Clinic services.

Good service. Didn't have to wait long. MD was attentive and thorough. Diagnostic services are all in the same building.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Elica Health Center Dental front desk. The front desk…read moreservice was unacceptable, especially from the employee I believe is named Lupita (she was working at station 7 today). She was rude, unprofessional, and did not explain anything throughout the check-in process. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM, but I spent about 20 minutes just waiting in line. When it was finally my turn, she handed me paperwork without explaining what needed to be completed and simply told me to get back in line after filling it out. The entire process felt disorganized and inefficient, and her attitude made the experience even worse. Staff at the front desk are the first people patients interact with, and they set the tone for the entire visit. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression. On a positive note, the nurse who assisted me was excellent--kind, professional, and efficient. The doctor was also good: professional, calm, and respectful during the appointment. The clinic itself was clean and well maintained. However, the poor customer service at the front desk overshadowed what would otherwise have been a positive visit. I hope Elica Health Center addresses this issue by providing additional customer service training, as patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and clear communication from the moment they arrive.

As a medical office, I know it's really not that hard to call Kaiser and get the information faxed to your office... It takes about 5 -10 min for the call and a day or a few for the information to come back if the office is busy..But, I'm also not a complete moron and can do it myself since the staff is lazy AF. I have asked for what I needed with a list but each time with the exception of 1 appointment, they have never helped my chronic conditions or given me the referrals or prescriptions I have asked for. More likely to get surgeon or other help during night and weekend. I believe she's correct. From the moment I blacked out during IV insertion until discharge, I was helped by people who know their field and are damn good at it. Being neurodivergent, the ER and hospital environment is mega-overload. I always disclosed my ND and all of my doctors and surgeons were patient and driven to see my health improve. Some of the people who left a very positive impression = Dr. Leslie Tamura. Advocate, calm, intelligent, a solid rock of the best hospitalist I'll probably ever meet. She made me feel safe, heard and assured I would be in good hands. Rutu, charging nurse for her acceptance, support and humor. Lilian and Marlon for being accepting, caring and relating. Renz and Billy, amazing nurses I could trust. Ken was a cheerful and lighthearted tech assistant. And social worker Ashly, a soul filled with the best energy a patient could ever wish to have. She's in the right field! If you find yourself in the Russell tower (older wing), penthouse floor #5, be aware the rooms can get hot on the southern side but getting a sliver of a view of the helicopter pad (had to get up to see) does give the brain something to masticate and reminds you that others are out there helping others (soul warming). Oh, and that hospital air filtration is impeccable. I also liked the garden on the "second" floor. It is peaceful. And the food, it is decent. I loved the grilled zucchini and white rice. The packaged lemon juice was tasty. I never want to see any of the staff or doctors again unless we cross paths at the store or at a really great party. But, if I ever must go to the hospital again, I will hope to see them or I hope that their cohorts ought to be as awesome as them. Note: cell, text, internet reception in basement/ER is nearly non-existent (not limited to T-Mobile). Their Wi-Fi may as well not exist. Send text messages with the time sent. If it eventually goes through, the other person will know the age of your message. Floors above ER should have significantly better reception. Bring your phone charged and with your wall charger including plug, not just cable. Bring flip flops, dry shampoo, fresh chonies, your preferred ear plugs, comfortable lounging clothes, and hand lotion if you like those things and may be admitted. Note: when you hear a faint nursery chime it means a baby was just born in the hospital. *warm fuzzies*
