Kennedy painted our large kitchen, including walls, ceiling, baseboards and trim, interior door to the garage, window sills, chair rail and door frames. Start to finish, the work took a day and a half Dave, our painter, exceeded expectations in every way, even offering assistance in ways we did not expect. Dave did a beautiful job with the work. He worked cleanly, being careful to protect surfaces as he worked and was very patient about a mix-up regarding paint color that was 100% our fault. This is a well-run, highly professional, reputable and reliable organization. Calls were promptly returned. Appointments were always kept. Their bid was not the lowest, nor were they the highest, but the cost was reasonable considering the truly excellent work done by everyone we dealt with - from the office staff, to the estimator and to, of course, Dave.

When he came back out to look at the additional work, he quoted me nearly double what he had originally discussed and gave the impression that he wasn't interested in taking on the job. He eventually completed the work I hired him for, but when the insulation company arrived, we immediately discovered that part of the job I had already paid for had not been completed. As a result, the insulation crew and I had to finish the remaining work ourselves before the insulation removal could even begin. That was extremely frustrating, especially since I had hired and paid someone to ensure everything was ready beforehand. Based on my experience, I won't be hiring Joe again, and I can't recommend his services to others. I expected the work to be completed correctly the first time, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

He said he knew how to do plaster and two weeks after the job was done cracks started to appear all over the wall. Fine - he said he would come back and fix it and that was 6-8 months ago. I've texted and called him many times and he's completely ignoring me. He also never rehung our hooks in our bathroom which he said he would do.
