However, during that consultation in our home we talked about budgets as the initial quote for a basement bathroom was $15000. We tried to find ways to stay within our budget. Crazy ideas like, what if we buy a vanity ourselves for $500 instead of budgeting $1500 for one they want us to use, were met with annoyance and reasons why that wouldn't work. Long story short, Mike ghosted us. We never heard back from our calls and ultimately ended up using another company to complete our basement project. I wish I could recommend them, but I truly cannot. I get the business end of wanting a certain price so you can turn a certain amount of profit, but ghosting someone is never acceptable and only required a quick call to say "it doesn't sound like we can do business together due to different budgeting priorities ". It left a bad taste in our mouths and that is the story we tell anyone who asks about using Modern Kitchen & Baths.

The two panes had a memorial inscription which needed a name added. Art Glass completed the job on time and within budget. the name was inscribed to the pane and the reinstall was scheduled. Greg kept in touch with us during the process. The installation was completed and the Art Glass team cleaned up before they left. They did an enormous job for us - patio, hardscaping and trees/plants. Communication was poor from…read morethe start, but most of the work itself was stellar. Unfortunately, once they finished they disappeared. The irrigation system they convinced me to put in is very poorly adjusted. At many of the spigots, the water sails over the new plants and instead waters my driveway and neighbors lawns. It's comical - they could not have done worse if they'd tried. I emailed 4 times and never got a response, asking them to adjust the spigots, or to at least send me the specialized tool and instructions (seems to be a high-end apparatus that does not match the instructions I find on line). Meanwhile I have dead plants, parting from the fact that planting was in the heat of the summer and mostly because their irrigation is insufficient (despite a $450. water bill!). I'm doubting that I will ever see them again, given that it's been months with no response. Very disappointed.
