The mitigation team did a great job removing damaged floors and walls and started the drying out process. About 2 weeks later after requesting things to get moving a estimate was performed and a few days after that the reconstruction program manager came by for about a hour answered some of our questions and said he would have the flooring and painting team reach out to me in the day or so. I sent information on some items that were on sale we would like have ordered to be installed in our master bath and to get them purchased. Those items were drop shipped a few weeks later. After numerous text and calls over a 3 week period no one else reached out to me. I shared my disappointment and reached out for the Director of construction to reach out to me with no return calls or emails. I even reached to others with the company to relay the message with no response after doing that. So I terminated Drymedic and had another contractor get started. Of course once I terminated their service, I was reached out to by Drymedic. I asked for the invoice for the vanity and faucets I had preordered so I could provide that to my insurance company for payment. Nothing was provided and I was told I would be billed. During reconstruction I also used the Drymedic pack out team for all of my contents. All of our belongings were packed and stored at their warehouse during the remodel of our home. At this point I was still willing to use their other services. Construction was completed about a month later by new contractors and all of my furnishings were brought back and unpacked by the Drymedic moving team. Insurance paid all of the fees for the Mitigation, Pack out, Storage return of my items. Contruction fees for the new contractors I had to hire. Forward to almost 4 months later I was just issued a final bill from DRYmedic for the vanity and faucets along with a bill based on 10% of written estimate charge of the whole construction job they previously quoted. I was told if I did not pay the bill it would be turned over to collections.

Drymedic contacted me because my agent gave them my phone number. I needed them for the rebuild. They sent a man out and he seemed real helpful. He took all the information and pictures and said they would contact me once everything was reviewed. I waited a week and then tried to find out what was going on. I sent emails, text, and voice mail messages. I received no call back, email or text. So, I waited till the next Monday and ended up calling another company. I can't tell you what kind of work they do. All they had to do is send me a text, saying they couldn't do the work. It's unacceptable to leave someone hanging.

The piece that was actually getting sandblasted and powder coated was another story. Quoted $80 for the piece + $20 rush charge. I don't know how much this stuff usually costs, but it seemed ok. (Now that I read the review from Kevin G, and see what he got done for $120, I'd say my small piece was over priced.) They called the next day to say it was done, when the rush meant it wouldn't be done for another 2 days. (Was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary if it could be done so soon?) I went to pick up the item later that day and it was beyond TERRIBLE. Like a child had done it, but worse. I can't really explain other than to say it looked like it was dipped in very thick powder coating then laid on its side to dry. There were thick drips and clumps all over. Some of it was already chipping and flaking off. (I didn't think powder coating should be able to do that.) I know, I should have taken pictures. I told them it was awful and needed to be redone, thanked them for wasting my time, and I left. In less than 1 hour, I get another call from them saying it was completed and ready for pick up. Ok, let me ask again, if the total job took less than 1 hour, was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary? On the voicemail left, they still quoted the same price of $100. Seriously, you think I'm going to pay the $100 after the crappy job, wasting my time and gas, and an unnecessary $20 rush charge? Anyway, when I went to pick it up the second time, it was much better, still not as good as I would have expected, but much better. I don't know who took my payment, as no one through this whole ordeal bothered to give their name, but I told him what I was willing to pay for the piece due to the issues mentioned above. He agreed and took my payment.

The job was to foam insulate a crawl space under a 19 x 23 family room addition after a pipe burst in the crawl. They made a plastic tunnel to work through to remove old insulation and covered all areas in tarp so my home was not full of insulation dust upon completion. They cleaned up all areas, including vacuuming when they were done. Kind, friendly, respectful and overall amazing work and knowledge of their craft. Reasonably priced. Great experience overall!

This is a small family run business where the owner, Chris Everly, is quite friendly and outgoing and has very fair and competitive pricing in comparison to other junk removal companies in the area. He held to his pricing/quote even as the job unfolded where my hot tub design was more difficult and time consuming than he had anticipated based on the unique design of my Caldera Spa (Loose blown insulation versus typical solid foam) and the fact that the underlying structure had water logged and rotted over time greatly complicating the job. Throughout this protracted job, Chris and his son were upbeat and positive and at the end of the day honored their quoted price where others would have pressured for additional money. This spoke volumes to me on this mans integrity where you wish this would be the norm but all too often is not. The other key thing I greatly appreciated was the effort they put in to clean up all the loose blown in insulation at the end of the job, which literally was everywhere, where they left me with a clean deck and reminded of a cardinal rule I learned long ago as a young engineer that "you always leave a clean workspace at the end of the day". Nice! Overall I am a big fan of this company and strongly recommend that you consider these guys for any Junk removal project you might have for all the reasons I stated.
