First impression was the Beautiful interior and spacious design and layout. First i toured the place and since its new it was so nice. Shiny basketball courts and new machines and equipment. There's even an outdoor workout area. The locker rooms and shower area is awesome as you can tell by the pictures. Multiple studio rooms to do your workouts in. Lockers are nice because you don't need to bring your own lock and has a self combo on the locker door you can adjust each time for your need. Now, the main thing I came for was the weight room. Room was smaller than what I am used to. There's the main essentials that you can use but missing a few bells and whistles if you are the type of person who uses other types of machines and equipments. Overall the recreation center is a great place to exercise and do what you need.

The pathway circles around the block which is surrounded with trees, a playground, several picnic areas, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, a pool, and a small church. This allows for plenty of activity here and the park is clean with trash kept in the cans and grass always smoothly cut. While walking here, you'll notice birds chirping and dogs barking; giving for a soulful stroll as you bask in the sounds of nature and a community vibing. I sometimes will come here by myself when I'm in Portland to get a peace of mind and enjoy the moments of solitude. The people are friendly as everyone waves and smiles when you walk by. Talk about representing the neighborhood properly!

And beyond the bridge is a dog park area. Overall I like this park, very serene and tucked away. Ample parking, some closer some further. I will go back for sure.

Nice large neighborhood park: -two restroom facilities…read more(though one was closed for repairs) -bring hand sanitizer, though, as the handwashing station was not working properly -playground -full disc golf course -basketball court -2 baseball diamonds -soccer field -swimming pool (open seasonally, I'm not sure how much it costs to swim there) -walking trails -plenty of picnic tables with areas suitable for large groups -one covered picnic shelter -plenty of open grassy areas for lounging or play -some benches along the trails to rest -small parking area, but there's plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood The park is mostly forested with huge pine trees, so this would be an excellent place to walk when it's hot out since there's plenty of shade. Some trails are paved and others are dirt or small gravel, and all were an even surface and well maintained, so it would be doable with a stroller. There were some steep inclines, but they are a short distance and weren't difficult. The trails weave & intersect all throughout the park so you can choose easier paths without inclines if you have limited mobility. The park was very clean when we visited, too.

There are big dinosaurs and fake palm trees. The big dinosaurs are awesome! There are two sections of playground, swings, a sandbox, bathrooms, and an asphalt walking path around the park. There is a little kid playground and a big kid playground. The playground area is rubber. Outside of the playground, there is a sandpit with tons of sand toys inside. The park was very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful with big green trees. This is a great park!
