This is a fantastic outing for families. There are amazing trails and scenic views. I will definitely visit again.

Nice little park. I haven't been on the trails or fished, we just came to enjoy the pond. This is a great spot for young kids , with shallow swimming , picnic area , BBQs, and playgroud. My 12 year old was bored within an hour , much better suited for little ones. Parking is included with the clark county pass, which is $30/yr. Only downside is proximity to freeway , which takes away from the naturey vibe. read more

I don't know if the VGSA fields are actually part of Salmon Creek Park or not. But I'm assuming so since it's all linked together HUGE ballpark with 6 fields, all groomed and well taken care of. Nets strung above your heads for extra safety. Concession stand located in the middle of it all. Love coming to watch Softball at this location! read more

I love this trail. It's 3.1 miles one direction. Just did it today! Such amazing, beautiful views. There is even a spot where you can sit on the rocks and put your feet in the water. It's clean water in certain areas, it'll be very obvious. The water comes from the mountain, which by the way there is a very nice view of. There are benches along the way and a generous amount of shaded areas, also there are markings on the ground that tell you how far you've been. I usually start it in Felida but it goes to Klineline pond and up to 117th. There is a $250 fine if you don't have your dog on a leash or bring alcohol. There were a few other things on the warning sign but I didn't bother to read them, oops! Oh! And there are bags at the beginning of the Felida entrance to pick up your dogs droppings. Please walk this trail and see for yourself just how beautiful it is. read more

Very pleasant place to have a picnic lunch. We didn't penetrate deeply but saw a play area, a nice shallow pond area being used by happy kids, and a trail beside Salmon Creek. read more

Beautiful, forested park with a long, winding walking trail, softball field, play structures, and a pond for swimming. There's lots of parking and clean bathrooms. Park feels safe. read more

We are lucky to have trail access from our home. This place is a real gem and a fantastic place to go for a walk or bike ride. Most of the trail is paved, making the trail usable even during rainy weather. There are some sections that are not paved, but they can be easily avoided if needed. There is a picturesque view of Mount Adams if you go all the way to the westernmost end of the trail. read more

Not entirely impressed with this park. There were a lot of people, including adults fishing in this little pond which seemed a little silly to me. This to me seems like a place to take your children to teach them to fish. There were adults inches apart from each other fishing. There were also a lot of small bugs (not mosquitoes, smaller than that) all over the place too that had us going crazy. Overall unless you want to take your 3 year old to learn to fish I would avoid this place. read more

Salmon Creek Park has a bit of everything for kids of all ages. There is a pond where people fish, a play ground, sports fields and a trail. The trail was paved and clean. The grounds are well kept. read more

Great park! The park itself is centered on KlineLine Pond, a moderate-sized pond with a fishing dock and a broad, if small, sand beach that kids can play on, go into pool, etc. A small playground with swing sets/etc, a circular trail, and so forth. Also a concession stand during summer months. Parking is a challenge, often requiring paid parking entry fee - check the web site for more info. The best part, for me, is that the park is the starting point for a 3.5 mile walking/jogging track that winds through the Salmon Park greenbelt. Beautiful grounds, pretty quiet, has some attached soccer fields down the way - haven't seen any games there, presumably there are some. The 3.5 mile track is concrete and circular, and while it's all wild/open nature around it, it's well marked, paved, etc - very difficult if not impossible to find open space with grass/ground to run on, other than around the soccer fields. So a great place to go for a quick run but you're running on pavement (ashpalt). read more

I can't say enough about this trail. It's family and pet friendly but also perfect for solitude or people watching. The community takes care of it. Case in Point- someone puts berry picking containers out free for the taking when the blackberries are ripe and wreaths and Christmas ornaments appear in the winter. All is right in the world when I come to the Salmon Creek Trail. read more

I would give this park a negative if I could- awful and dangerous play equipment here. Three different play things that most adults and children do not know what they are capable of. My daughter was injured and other kids too on one particular piece of equipment- a bar that swings around by momentum. My daughter couldn't get off because it doesn't stop, then she finally fell off only to get and be immediately knowcked in the head by the bar still swinging around. This is ridiculous and useless equipment...stay away. read more

I don't know how many miles I've ran on this trail, and love every minute of it. Most routes would get boring, but I love getting to spot blue herons, great egrets, muskrats, garter snakes, rabbits, mice, ospreys, and the friendly frolicking fellow humans. Especially for anyone in any kind of marathon training, I would highly recommend this route. read more

Came here for the Turkey Trot 2014. I'm sure the park is very pretty during the Spring and Summer but Winter is just not great time to come. The paths are all paved which is nice but it seemed all too suburbia for me but I suppose it would be cool if you drive a mini van and are into that sort of thing. I am not sure I would ever come back here for a run. read more

Low quality food service, didn't even get the ticket. I tried to ask the man at the door to calm down, but the grass kept eating my shoe. He told me to leave quietly, and grab my sister's things.
