I hired the McCready law firm after the appellate court vacated my convictions and tossed the evidence away. Basically, The DA refilled without having a case anymore. My charges were dismissed even though McGreedy did nothing but postpone. but NOW MY COURT RECORD SHOWS a CONVICTION OF a misdemeanor vc23152F from the date of the dismissed charges! After texting back and forth with Mr. McGreedy himself, He refused to correct the mistake unless I gave him more money on top of the 16k + 8K escrow for the experts he pocketed then he returned 6K after I posted about it online then he asked me to take my reviews (Yelp & Avvo) from April 2023 down "FIRST before he mailed me the check. I never terminated their service even though Miss Lucy Hernandez from the Long Beach office, in an e-mail tried to make me sign a termination letter FIRST before they gave me my Court Minute Order on 04/21/23, and GUESS WHAT? I still don't have my Court Minute Order. SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR RETAINER BEFORE YOU PAY IT! They went through my money like drinking water. After I felt played, I audited my $25,000+ bill and I found: 09/28/22 I was billed $1,575 when the first attorney Mr.Ynda showed up in court to talk to me about taking the case (I had a public defender representing me) I was billed for an imaginary jail visit by Mr. Ynda 09/30/22 I was billed $700 for an attorney (Mr. Ynda) coming to take my signature for the retainer. 10/21/22 I was billed ($875) for a jail visit just to take another signature (by Mr. Ynda) 10/04/22 I was billed $1,365 for another court appearance to take the case and postpone. (Mr. Ynda) 12/02/22 I was billed over $1,575 for Zachary driving from Long Beach to Riverside County Superior Court to ask for an extension for me in court due to the only attorney he had in Riverside County (Mr.Ynda) "Great Attorney" leaving his office in the middle of the case. 11/22/22I was billed $25-50-75 for every text message between the secretary Miss Siobhan who left his office too and my wife or between employees 11/25/22I was billed $50-$100 for every few minutes of phone call with the secretary I was billed $35-$50 for text messages between the secretary and the replacement attorney who's covering up for having nobody to work on my case "running late, she arrived, she's leaving, the result" Each message different charge 11/01/22 I was billed $200 for them receiving ONE E-MAIL from my appellate attorney. 12/13/22 I was billed $2,425 ($735+$665+$525+$500) for the court appearance of the house arrest motion which he did without me present! M Zachary McCready canceled my escort ride from county jail to my court date, he left 7 members of my family waiting from 8:30 as scheduled til 1:30 p.m. when he showed up, he didn't stick to the plan I had with Mr.Ynda before he left his office on how to attack my last hope of house arrest motion by bringing my family and statements. He ignored all that and made the motion without me or my family, he didn't litigate it on record. When I confronted him, he replied that they denied your bail motion. The motion was for HOUSE ARREST. He kept making up lies to cover it until I exposed him. I asked him to appeal it, but he refused. Then after consulting appeal attorneys and deciding to Appeal him denying me due process, he threatened to drop me if I appeal his action. And offered to work on my case personally if I let it go, claiming that he's a great lawyer and he would work on my case, HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME except CHARGING ME MORE MONEY! 12/02/22 I was billed $1,575 for a court appearance for the motion to compel because ZACHARY DROVE FROM FV TO RIVERSIDE BECAUSE HIS ATTORNEY LEFT HIM! 01/11/23 I was billed $1,805 when Attorney Miss. Ashley showed up to cover for Zachary McGreedy at a hearing (He billed me for her driving 3+ hours at $350 and $450 an hour) And a lot more CRAZY CHARGES! Mr.Zachary McCready lied to me repeatedly and made me feel I had a super team working for me. The fact was he knew NOTHING about my case, he showed up to court unprepared, had no clue about my case, he Postponed and kept me incarcerated months more than my MAX sentence of the crimes I was charged with because he was DOING NOTHING FOR ME! I contacted him last few weeks back regarding the wrong conviction on my record from the charges he represented me on (the charges were dismissed and my record is showing a conviction) He had my case wrong, he had my charges wrong, and even had the resolution of my case wrong, then he tried to get more money out of me to FIX HIS MISTAKES or hire another attorney as he suggested. To be noted: Im a person who have had multiple experiences with lawyers in the past-- Zach is hands down one of the best attorney I have ever encountered. His is genuine, down to earth, very straightforward, Honest, and very prompt. He answered every questions with ease and has even gone above and beyond what I paid for (which wasn't unreasonable to begin with). Definitely will be a returning customer! AVOID THIS ATTORNEY AT ALL COSTS** He verbally manipulates his clients into believing he will give them back their retainer fee as long as he doesn't have to go to court. I had a witness with me who heard him repeat this at least 2-3 times. Then he had me sign a contract, and told me that after the 1 year mark, if the case never went to court, if I brought him an official letter from the courthouse declaring that I have no case pending against me, that he would give me my retainer fee back. That was $1500. It's reached the one year mark and he is now claiming to have never said that to begin with. I'm a 24 year old college student, and this rich piece of shit lawyer took advantage of what little money I had, and has refused to give me my retainer fee that he promised VERBALLY numerous times to return to me. Zachary, if you don't return retainers fees, stop LYING to your clients verbally when they ask you about it in person. He used to be a cop, figures.
