They had a massaging dental chair that was relaxing and helped distract me from the dental procedure and they gave me a warm blanket. I saw Dr. Hazen, DDS, who created a bonded tooth for me until I can get home to my dentist and order a new porcelain veneer. Everyone was extremely kind.... receptionists, dental assistants, dentist, and every employee at Smile Associates who I came into contact with. If I lived in the area this would be my new dentist! He was NOT notified that the bur had gone missing during his visit/procedure. After almost dying from an infection this was surgically removed from his lung and identified as a dental bur. When I tried to give feedback and ask for better notice--at least a call and email the day before--the receptionist became defensive and rude, telling me I should have called or emailed them instead. The manager, however, was very kind and helpful. The team in the back seems great, but the front desk coordination needs improvement. Poor scheduling and unprofessional attitude made the experience frustrating.

A month later and the side of my tongue still has discomfort and the inside of my bottom jaw in the back is still "raw" feeling and it's NOT where the tooth came out and my ear has been really bothersome. I will NEVER EVER go back. A few days later allergies hit hard. 2 weeks go by still sick. Go to urgent care and I'm told I have nerve damage in my ear from him and his yanking my teeth out. Truly outstanding across the board.... From reception, to the nurses, to the doctor, to billing. Every interaction was positive. Dr. Curtis was especially wonderful with both me and my kids. He took the time to make sure they understood their treatment, what was happening, and why. He was so kind, patient, and easy to talk to. Leading up to surgery, the day of, and even afterward, I called at least 10 times with questions. Not once did anyone seem annoyed. Every time, they were helpful, responsive, and happy to answer anything I needed. On the day of surgery, the staff continued to go above and beyond. When my daughter had an issue with gauze getting stuck in her braces, they stepped in immediately to help without hesitation. They even called a few hours after surgery to check on how she was doing, which meant so much. This place deserves more than just this review. I'm so impressed. Dr. Laclair seems okay the 5 minutes he spent checking our teeth but overall for my family it was not a good experiance. I have already moved my children to a Pediatric Dentist in Watertown and LOVE him. As for me, I am looking and will never go back to this dentist office again. Two years ago a tooth broke off the day before I was flying to China. They worked me in and did a quick repair so that I didn't have to worry about infection while in China. This year that tooth needed a root canal - it was extremely painful. I couldn't get into an endodontist for two weeks so Dr. Cesario skipped his lunch and did it himself. Not an ounce of pain! I live about 30 miles away and have dozens of dentist offices between my home and Cesario's and I'm never even tempted to find a closer doctor. I highly wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cesario!
