I was recently referred to Dr. Chris McDaniel by my wife, a long time patient of his. Unfortunately, I injured my lower back while weight training and was completely "out of whack". My wife has been raving about Dr. McDaniel's treatment. She has referred several other friends and I was the lone hold out... until I required his magic! I was pleasantly pleased with the entire experience. His lobby was filled with people that were genuinely happy to be there. How often have you ever seen someone happy to see a doctor? Not often! The woman at the front desk was an absolute joy to interact with, even as I was biting back excruciating pain. She was kind, patient and very accommodating. Once Dr. McDaniels knew who I was married to, his immediate interaction made me feel like we had known each other for years. He was able to see me in less than 15 minutes from arriving without an appointment. He attended to me and provided me with instant relief and was the basis for a speedy recovery. I've been going to Chris McDaniel for a long time. He's helped me post 2 car accidents and for general back/neck pain. Recently, my wife and I went to see him for our normal back and neck issues and my wife asked Chris about treating plantar fasciitis. Chris had the treatment but said it would be extremely painful. After watching my wife get the treatment on both feet, I decided to give it a try on my left foot. My ankle has been an issue for years and even after getting it popped, the pain usually returns within a day. Oh man, the treatment was so painful! Like in the movies, where they have someone bite down on something because it's going to hurt, painful! But afterward, my foot felt amazing. Like to the point of calm, relaxed, RELIEVED! After this treatment, I don't feel like I'm walking on one side of my foot in some sort of involuntary attempt to compensate. When DD complained of severe and crippling back pain, I turned to Yelp for assistance in finding someone to treat her. I saw the great testimonials about Dr. McDaniel and decided to give it a go. I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was delightful and I was able to get DD in quickly. It was actually quite funny because when we arrived the doctor thought the appointment was for me. Nope. The young whipper-snapper was the body in need. Dr. McDaniel and his office assistant/receptionist were both very personable, friendly, and it was a true pleasure to work with them. They made everything so easy, even the paperwork! As a parent, I appreciate that the doctor took the time to talk me through what he was doing. I did not ask him to do that, and he didn't have to do that, but it made all the difference to me. There was no pressure to return, although DD is looking forward to her next adjustment. We have definitely found our go to chiropractor. Yesterday I spent 7 hours in the Emergency Room due to intense neck and shoulder pain. I left with an x-ray, MRI, referral to a Neurosurgeon and a bottle of Oxycodone for the pain. The pain was still at a 9/10 today and I barely was able to work today. A friend suggested Dr. Chris and I called and was able to be seen right away. After my consult and adjustments, I walked out 20 minutes later with the most relief I have felt in weeks (3/10 pain). I'm truly amazed! AWESOME Chiropractic skills...Just moved to the area from Cali where I thought I had the best of the best chiro treatment & then I met Dr Chris. I had severe neck pain, TIGHT shoulders, lower back pain & the worst case of hip flexor pain. I had tried several chiropractors in the area but no luck. So...I've known Chris McDaniel since high school. Always a wonderfully kind guy! Funny & smart. So didn't surprise me at all that he turned out to be a fabulous chiropractor!!!!! I've never ever been to a chiropractor in my life until just today. My husband actually really needed to get in, because he has an extensive background of injuries and such, and has been to several different chiropractors before. I told him about Chris/Mr. McDaniel -and went in for an adjustment. Can I just say, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my first visit 'ever' to a chiropractor. Dr. McDaniel was aware of this, and made sure to put me at ease and explained everything that he was going to do. The visit was for sever neck stiffness with constant pain. Within 10 minutes, my neck pain was relieved and I had full range of motion. Went to see Chris because I was experiencing very bad neck pain, I walked in waited for about 5 minutes and he went and did his magic. He popped my neck and back and noticed that my neck muscle was very bad so he added some Sombra to the muscle that was hurting and massaged it for a few minutes. He then went and stuck me on the roller and had ice on my neck for about 15 minutes, he then popped my neck one more time before and leaving. It is now day 3 since he did all this and my neck is tremendously better. Chris went above and beyond for me and did everything he could to help me with this pain. Highly recommend!! read more
