I have been going to Pure Life for about 9 weeks, now. I originally came in for pretty intense lower back pain after a lifting injury. This hasn't been an immediate or quick fix, but I am certainly able to function 80% better than when I came in and it only continues to get better. I like the systemic approach that Pure Life (Gonstead) chiropractors take by looking at X-rays and muscle stress/inflammation. Aside from my lower back improvements, I very rarely get headaches. Maybe 2 in the last 9 weeks. Other muscular tightness (hip flexors) has also improved. The consistent tension I was feeling between my shoulder blades is also completely gone. I started coming here when I found out my baby was breech at my 32 week ultrasound. After some research, I found that chiropractic treatment can help open up your pelvis/uterus making space for the baby to flip. Dr. Lina focuses on pregnant mamas and babies and she is the sweetest, I had 3 sessions with her and when I went to my 34 week appointment my doctor told me my baby is no longer breech yay! I was a bit hesitant to get adjustments since I was a complete newbie to the Chiro world, but since I had struggled with neck pain for the longest time I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out. I had been having pain between my shoulder blades for the past year. I've tried using a seat cushion, went through 4 different "ergonomic" pillows, new mattress, got a massage chair to use in the office, and tried using a Chirp wheel. Nothing relieved the pain more than half a day. A friend recommended Pure Life and thought I'd give it a try. I have had chiropractic adjustments in the past so I thought I would just show up, have a short examination, and get adjusted same day - much like the chiropractors on YouTube do lol. I was totally wrong! When you schedule your first appointment the team there will do several scans followed by an X-ray to make sure the root of the problem is identified. On the follow up the scans and measurements will be explained to you followed by a proposed treatment plan. Everything is super precise and the whole strategy is long term recovery vs "let's smack you here to make you feel better for a couple weeks." I now feel way better than before. Shoulder pain has gone away, I'm more productive at work, and my sleep quality has improved as well. 10/10 would recommend Pure Life. Phenomenal team over there. I have been coming here every 2-3 weeks for a few years now. After going through 3 other chiropractors before them, who only caused me more problems, I finally found Dr. Moses who has a handle on what my issues are and how to take care of them. Other chiropractors just lay you out and crack your neck from left to right. That's not sustainable treatment. Pure Life is sustainable treatment.
