Ordered a sausage McMuffin at 7:40 am in drive thur. Trying to grab a quick bite before an appointment. I received a completely burnt McMuffin. Almost unrecognizable. The quality and training of employees at fast food chains have completely went to crap. There's no way the employee didn't see this before it was put into the wrapper. Obviously I could not eat it. So I went to my appointment hungry because I had no time to drive back. After contacting corporate, a lady from this location (manager) called leaving a voicemail saying come back for a refund. I am over 30 mins from that location, and I'm supposed to drive all the way back? Spend more gas money and time? This is their problem solving. Unreal. Needless to say I am not driving back. So I ordered in the app and requested table service. My food was never brought to the table. I had to walk up to the counter with all my kids to grab the food and then on top of that this is the burger that was given to me, it was sloppy it was Missing pickles so I asked him to remake it and guess what they burnt it and forgot the onions. The quality of what you get at this restaurant is inconsistent. My first cashier apparently had just started work; she was quiet, hard to hear, timid, and didn't really know how to work any buttons (e.g., I wanted a hamburger, and she couldn't figure out how to order a cheeseburger with no cheese). She did eventually go get another employee, who rang my order up in about twenty seconds. That second employee than put together my meal and gave me some extra sauces without asking. The restaurant isn't dirty, but it isn't super-clean; spots around the Coke machine from dried soda, straw wrappers and napkins around, probably 70% of the tables with crumbs on them. My sandwiches were excellent, but my fries must have been some of the last of the batch; they were lukewarm and not real great. Some of the customers apparently were just hanging around there all day; not all of them looked to be in the best shape or well-kept, but others were friendly and considerate. Pretty much what you'd expect from most McDonalds, I reckon. It's a McDonald's. They have excellent deals. Customer service is going to be a toss-up, and food is going to be a toss-up. I like McDonald's This location gets it right. I loved McDonald's as a kid. As I got older, I visited more locations across the country and found that some locations were incredibly poorly run. After getting sick a few times, I quit eating at any McDonald's for years. Then I was in Los Angeles, working and very busy, there happened to be a McDonald's next to a shop I had to visit for building materials. I was hungry and had no time so I went through the drive through. I remember the Big Mac that I got there. It was wonderful. It looked pretty like the ones in their ads. It tasted wonderful, like I remember Big Macs as a kid. I recently moved to Acworth and I am happy that this location is not far from my home. It's nice and new and clean. There are two lines to order at the drive through. The staff is friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the food is made correctly and tastes great. read more

Not really trying to be an ass because I realize it's McDonalds. We rarely eat at McDonalds but this morning we're out of town and needed a quick something. The food was as expected, so that wasn't an issue. We ordered one hot cakes w/ sausage, one hot cakes w/ bacon, orange juice and water. The young girl who took our order was very nice. However, instead of ringing up my hot cakes w/bacon (which is a thing) she rang up hot cakes w/ sausage, no sausage, add bacon. That had me paying extra for bacon and paying for sausage I didn't get. Less than a $2 hit, but super annoying. I had to go back up to the counter because we didn't get the orange juice and water. They said they were sorry but they don't have orange juice right now and offered to replace it with something else. They said the girl who rang us up was new and apologized. I do get that. The service is as expected but every time I stop and get my usual double quarter with cheese and fries the salt that should have been on the fries ( which are warm not hot ) ends up on my burger. Every time I stop it's because I'm in a hurry so I eat the fries while warm usually about a mile away after I can return them and ask for fresh salted ones . Then I get to the burger and am reminded why I hadn't stopped there in a while . It's always extremely over salted . The one I got last night was so bad I could one take three bites . I love food with flavor extra spicy chicken wings , strong chineese but a burger that makes me think " did I just dump a salt shaker in my mouth? This McDonald's is so slow, they have resorted to blocking off one of their two lanes almost everyday now because they can't keep up. I stop here all the time as it's right next to my house but they keep Messi g up orders their line literally takes 20 minutes on a weekday at 745 am. Trust me keep driving down the road and find a place that values their customers time unlike Mcdonalds in acworth. I have been in line for 21 minutes and have counted 4 cars have pulled out. Horrible service. They aren't even working two windows. I have to wonder where is management? Do they have managers? For being a McDonald's this is getting a 5-star. Brand new location in Acworth, well worth stopping by if you're in the mood for some fast food. Just on appearance this place is great, it's clean, modern-esque. And just to add a touch of flair to my taste...the automatic bathroom sink actually spits out hot water, I'm impressed, lol. The staff, though most seem new, are quite friendly and more than happy to do whatever necessary to assist you with your brief stop by their wonderful establishment be it drive-thru or walk-in. The food, albeit fast food, is incredible. So fresh and mouthwatering. The hamburgers taste like homemade and the fries will have you begging for more. The sweet tea (which I have seen prepared wrong countless times) was delectable as ever. If I am in this area for lunch again, I will most definitely stop back in for lunch! read more

I try my best to give McDonald's a try but they keep reminding me why will stop going to McDonalds. They appear to put there worst employees on the Register to Greet the public. On my last visit to this McDonalds as I approached the register I noticed a young man in a McDonald uniform going behind the register from outside..his uniform was dirty. He take my order what was a Oak Meal to Go! After taking my order he started to make my Oak meal without washing his hands, I stopped him and got someone else to make. He had given me my chance..showing on the register. HE COULD NOT COUNT THE CORRECT CHANGE SHOWING ON HIS REGISTER. Skinny skeleton looking manager (white lady with tattoos) got mad at me and called me a f***** idiot because her drive thru speaker didn't care to listen to tell him my order that yeah was a little picky but it's not that hard. I worked in fast food for a year and was a manager within 6 months at 18 years old. This place is always giving me trouble and never gets my order or my Family's order right and then gets mad when I come with a couple bites taken out that took me to realize how wrong they actually got the order. This is the worst McDonald's EVER. Waited at the drive- through speaker for a good five minutes with no one else in either line. Someone FINALLY talked and I said I had a coupon. When I got to the payment window, I was told they had new ownership and the coupon, with a Dec. '19 expiration date, was not valid. The service sucks to put it nicely. I went through the drive through here twice this week and was disappointed both times. My first request was for a salad, and the guy responded, "we don't have salads here ". My next 2 orders were for the Cheeseburger happy meal with french fries and a Coke no ice. The cheeseburgers were too salty and I choked them both down. But, the worst disappointment was that the french fries were cold both times. The second time, I was about to send them back... But the girl looked so annoyed already, wearing a construction vest, that I assumed she was already having a bad day and did not want to be bothered with any sort of complaints. Apparently, there was construction going on and I don't know if she was the manager but she was not friendly at all. I threw my receipt away, but after thinking about it...
