The food was pretty decent. I don't really think that the burgers here are better than BurgerFi or Shake Shack. They are pretty good but nothing to really write home about. I couldn't find any ketchup or ranch for my fries so I'd recommend restructuring the spot where the condiments are near the drink stand. It seems to cater more to those who like burgers and beer. Came at lunch, stood in line for longer than was necessary to order. I paid for my food and the waited 27 minutes (I checked the time) and finally asked about my order. I was rudely told "we are backed up and doing the best we can". They had less than 10 tables with people at them and most already had food. A few minutes later our food was finally brought out. I had to get it boxed to go because I had to get back to work. This Burger 21 sits alongside Whole Foods at the corner of Cobb Parkway and Barrett Parkway, in what is known as the Crater Lake complex. If you are coming off of Barrett Parkway it sits behind/next to Whole Foods and if you are coming in from Cobb Parkway then look behind the Starbucks/MOD Pizza! I have ventured into this Burger 21 on several occasions for lunch and dinner, each time I arrived hungry and I departed fat and happy! This location is one of three here in Georgia, but the only one on the West side of the metro area. It sits in a very busy shopping plaza, so it can get busy...and honestly it is busy more than it is not. This location sits on the corner, so it has a great outdoor patio in addition to the wide open dining room that features tables, booths, communal tables and a bar! The process here is you walk in, place your order, receive a number and find a place to sit...the staff will bring your food out when ready and scoop up your number in the process. There is a drink/condiment station, and while the drinks are still self-serve the condiments are request only due to Covid precautions (which is great!). The only thing you cannot get at the main register is boozy drinks, you have to head to the bar for those. Over the years I have dabbled in the menu having everything from the burgers, chicken burgers, chicken sammies, sliders, fries, onion straws and milkshakes. My go-to's are either the Bacon Cheesy or the Buffalo Chicken sided with onion straws. I recently had the Crispy Chick, which is there standard chicken sandwich and it was delish...I think I may try to order it buffalo style on my next visit (if that is possible!). In addition to the usual suspects of burgers of all kinds, they do have chicken tenders and hot dogs as well. I have yet to venture into this part of the menu, but I am sure they are tasty! Overall, Burger 21 is a solid spot for a good meal for lunch or dinner. Service has always been great at the counter and the table. 4 Stars - I ordered the CEO burger $12.00, reg side of sweet potato fries $5.00 (ouch) and a drink $3.00. With tax I paid $22.00. That's insane. Was it good yes can't complain, but still $12.00 for a burger in a sit down resturant I get but this is order at the counter. $5.00 for fries Omg are they mad? I'll go back when they decide to charge reasonable prices for the setting. Others have made the same comments and the place was not crowded at 12:30 I think that speaks volumes. i placed an online order when i showed up to pick it up, there was not one employee in sight for 15 min. When an employee did come out of the kitchen finally, she just looked at me and walked right past me without saying anything and got her friend at the bar area a drink and walked back to the kitchen while on her phone. after 20 min of waiting, i had to flag down an employee who was also about to walk past me without saying anything. We have been to this location a few times while in the area for VA appointments locally. There is parking provided in the shopping mall area but some spots are on the more compact side. Upon entering go to the left to place your order and then choose your seat. We usually order the kids burgers, vegetarian burger options, bacon and cheese burger and one of their more seasonal options. The sodas are self serve and coke products. The food is brought to your table for you and is usually pretty prompt in arriving with no issues. The place is pretty clean including the two small bathrooms. We love eating here and will continue to do so. read more

Not life changing but more of a "it's payday, no where else is open, so I'll go here" kind of good. But as we all know, there is always some place else that is open. Called in an order tonight and told 10-15 min. Was there no more than 20 min later for pickup. Nice job inside in terms of sanitation, staff wearing masks and gloves, separate areas for pickup, contactless checkout and whatnot. The food experience, in a nutshell, was underwhelming and nowhere near worth the $. Wife's gluten free burger looked like something I'd expect at a cafeteria, and aside from being cooked longer, I couldn't tell for the life of me why the patty was less than half the size of one of mine. I ordered the OMG! and it was, ok? I did eat it more bc I was hungry and less bc I was salivating at the sight and taste of it. I mean, is the secret to the secret sauce the fact that they don't really give you any? And what poor excuses for bacon, I've seen better looking strips at a hotel breakfast buffet. The fries were cold, shriveled, and a joke at $7 for a "sharing size". This hurts, because I enjoyed parts of my burger, but not the burger on its entirety. The restaurant had a post modern feel to it, marred only by the toilet being broken, (wouldn't flush) and no signage or notices being put up. Got a burger with Guac with Tex-mex seasoning, burger meat was juicy and delicious. Honestly the reason why I'm giving praise to the restaurant. Bun needed some love, needed to be toasted or something, cause cold bun atop hot burger... service was prompt, however I asked the cashier if the fries were seasoned ( as in with seasoning salt or garlic or paprika or something) and she said yes. This was my 1st hamburger I have eaten since I was around 8-9 years old!
