This is our go-to McDonald's when my tween is craving their chicken nuggets and fries! Maybe the Mcdonalds on White Lane is closer to our house but I think this McDonald's is quicker and friendlier. Ive never gone inside but drive thru is usually always efficient and staff is always friendly. I love the McDonald's app! I seem to only have a tendency to do a review for a McDonald's here in town when they're absolutely negative. So let me give a little positive one. Oliver food was exactly as we ordered and came out of the window, hot or cold as appropriate my son got a small vanilla shake with his happy meal. The service was fast and even the gentleman taking my order over the speaker to drive-through was kind and considerate and didn't make me feel rushed for once. I guess McDonald's give you a warm fuzzy because everybody grew up to McDonald's. The restaurant was clean on the outside at the drive-through and there were no bums or pan handlers and that is such a relief compared to the other McDonald's in town. read more

I unfortunately stop by here more than I'd like to since it's on the way from work, That said it's easily the most infuriating McDonalds on this side of town. Customer service sucks, not a single happy person in sight. Ever. Homeless people begging in front of drive thru (not really employees fault but still) , and the most inconsistent service in town. These mf will make you park from drive thru over a kids meal and leave you waiting for 10+ minutes for someone to run it out, then the next moment have someone hold up the line for another 15+ minutes over a $50 meal. Today I got a breakfast sandwich and a coffee and had to wait 14 minutes after I ordered to reach to pay window and another 5 minutes before i actually received my food. The lady at the second window who handed me my food, apologize for his nasty tone. But I also made me feel like even the employees knows that he needs to work on his attitude or just stop working there. One Star is a gift. Mc Donald's at 11150 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA., Drive-Thru visit on Sept. 7, 2025 @ 8:10pm. First the receipt is printed so poorly that it's unreadable. Then when food isn't ready and available in the drive-thru you're directed to park at the side of the building to be brought out except they never come out with your food. This and missing items in the past make for unsatisfactory service. This used to be a nice place, not anymore. Disorganized and needs management replacement or retraining. This is the second time we received expired milk with a happy meal at this location. This location is also very slow and seems to have a lot of drama going on in the kitchen. Management needs to step it up. This place is a mess. We have received several messed up orders over the years it never gets better but we keep hoping. Today they sent almost every car from the drive thru to wait in front which was full of cars. Waited 40mins for a happy meal and burger only to never get it. This is the most unreliable location. They close at randoms times. If you try to walk in at 9pm all the doors are already locked when on their door it specifically says they close dining room at 11pm. Employees will stare at you and ignore you. I work not too far from this particular McDonald's I go quite a bit due to it being close to my job and every time they every encountered employee is very rude pushy in a rush and doesn't seem to care about customer service all need to be trained on how to communicate to a diverse of people. I paid $1.78 per burger to add lettuce and the y hardly put any on the burger. If you're charging me almost $2 to add lettuce I would expect to see enough lettuce to be able to taste on the burger. This is highly disappointing. There was no additional lettuce on the bottom either. Fries are always soggy. I stopped by the Lamont location in the morning, and the experience was completely different from my past visits at night. The morning manager (not the rude night shift guy) was super nice and welcoming--he even thanked me for coming. My strawberry banana smoothie was actually good, not watered down like the one I got at night that barely tasted like a smoothie. My soda was fresh and tasted great. There was also a friendly employee working the front. I didn't catch his name, but he was very polite, took an order out to a customer's car, and even looked over at me as I was leaving to say, "Have a nice day." Now that's good customer service! I'll continue sharing my experiences and completing surveys, but I really hope the general manager retrains the night crew on how to treat customers. Being rude or argumentative is not okay. I also had a bad experience two weeks ago in the drive-thru--an employee didn't even give me my receipt, so I couldn't do the survey online. I meant to mention it on Yelp but forgot. They got me..LOL they got me good. The only reason for 2 stars is the chicken nuggets were hot and they gave me all the sauces I ordered... Sorry , I didn't take pictures because I was driving. The visit: ok so I ordered a special meal they have online with two cheeseburgers, two ten piece nuggets and two medium fries with two drinks. I asked for a Medium coke w/ no ice. When I went to the drive thru I was told to move forward to the other window to wait for it. I was confused because all of the other food was already given to me. I moved forward and received a 3/4 cup full of Coke , I asked the "manager" to fill it and he had an abnormal look on his face ,I said nevermind.. The food: The burgers were cool to the touch, the fries were barely warm good for the grandkids not for the adults. McDonald's really does have the worst warm fries in the world , (to be fair the nuggets were good )but the cokes with no ice seemed like it was watered down. Gotta save where you can save as an operation I guess. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until we were too far to care anymore,as the wife was handling the grandkids in the back seat..If I ever have to go again I will never use the drive thru again.. The surrounding area is perfect but this is Not the normal quality McDonald's im used to as they don't even have a drink machine in the lobby, the quality you get here is not Good not McDonald's quality, yet it is a brand new McDonald's on a major intersection in Bakersfield. The quality of everything was subpar at best. If you went to this McDonald's one time It will tell you exactly how this place runs their business. So if you are in a pinch and have to go be sure to check your food before you leave the store. Usually my go to McDonald's, but there was a nasty experience today that I didn't appreciate. I placed a mobile order for pickup at the counter for my daughter and her friends. I paid online and sent my daughter a screenshot and screen recording of the confirmation email and of course my credit card was immediately charged. She went to pick up her food and it was not on the counter, so she asked a worker and was told there was no order in their system and for a code. She texted me to ask for the code, which there was NO code. Just a confirmation email. The worker referred her to the manager who refused to give her the food, saying she needed to see her physically log into the McDonald's app in order to give her the food. I'm not sure if it was a failure on their system but I had an email confirmation with their location and information. My daughter said the manager was snotty with her and treated them like she thought they were stealing the food. She also mentioned there was an order for pickup at the counter but the order number and name was facing away from them and so my daughter didn't feel right grabbing it to check the name so she asked the manager if that might be her order and the manager responded "it's not for you". Not sure if this location has an issue with food being stolen but mobile ordering is common and if someone is showing you a receipt then it seems petty and unprofessional to refuse to give them the order. I will not be returning to this location and I hope the staff and especially manager are trained in how to improve their customer service. read more
