If you try to walk in at 9pm all the doors are already locked when on their door it specifically says they close dining room at 11pm. Employees will stare at you and ignore you. One Star is a gift. Mc Donald's at 11150 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA., Drive-Thru visit on Sept. 7, 2025 @ 8:10pm. First the receipt is printed so poorly that it's unreadable. Then when food isn't ready and available in the drive-thru you're directed to park at the side of the building to be brought out except they never come out with your food. This and missing items in the past make for unsatisfactory service. This used to be a nice place, not anymore. Disorganized and needs management replacement or retraining. I stopped by the Lamont location in the morning, and the experience was completely different from my past visits at night. The morning manager (not the rude night shift guy) was super nice and welcoming--he even thanked me for coming. My strawberry banana smoothie was actually good, not watered down like the one I got at night that barely tasted like a smoothie. My soda was fresh and tasted great. There was also a friendly employee working the front. I didn't catch his name, but he was very polite, took an order out to a customer's car, and even looked over at me as I was leaving to say, "Have a nice day." Now that's good customer service! I'll continue sharing my experiences and completing surveys, but I really hope the general manager retrains the night crew on how to treat customers. Being rude or argumentative is not okay. I also had a bad experience two weeks ago in the drive-thru--an employee didn't even give me my receipt, so I couldn't do the survey online. I meant to mention it on Yelp but forgot. Usually my go to McDonald's, but there was a nasty experience today that I didn't appreciate. I placed a mobile order for pickup at the counter for my daughter and her friends. I paid online and sent my daughter a screenshot and screen recording of the confirmation email and of course my credit card was immediately charged. She went to pick up her food and it was not on the counter, so she asked a worker and was told there was no order in their system and for a code. She texted me to ask for the code, which there was NO code. Just a confirmation email. The worker referred her to the manager who refused to give her the food, saying she needed to see her physically log into the McDonald's app in order to give her the food. I'm not sure if it was a failure on their system but I had an email confirmation with their location and information. My daughter said the manager was snotty with her and treated them like she thought they were stealing the food. She also mentioned there was an order for pickup at the counter but the order number and name was facing away from them and so my daughter didn't feel right grabbing it to check the name so she asked the manager if that might be her order and the manager responded "it's not for you". Not sure if this location has an issue with food being stolen but mobile ordering is common and if someone is showing you a receipt then it seems petty and unprofessional to refuse to give them the order. I will not be returning to this location and I hope the staff and especially manager are trained in how to improve their customer service. read more

They got me..LOL they got me good. The only reason for 2 stars is the chicken nuggets were hot and they gave me all the sauces I ordered... Sorry , I didn't take pictures because I was driving. The visit: ok so I ordered a special meal they have online with two cheeseburgers, two ten piece nuggets and two medium fries with two drinks. I asked for a Medium coke w/ no ice. When I went to the drive thru I was told to move forward to the other window to wait for it. I was confused because all of the other food was already given to me. I moved forward and received a 3/4 cup full of Coke , I asked the "manager" to fill it and he had an abnormal look on his face ,I said nevermind.. The food: The burgers were cool to the touch, the fries were barely warm good for the grandkids not for the adults. McDonald's really does have the worst warm fries in the world , (to be fair the nuggets were good )but the cokes with no ice seemed like it was watered down. Gotta save where you can save as an operation I guess. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until we were too far to care anymore,as the wife was handling the grandkids in the back seat..If I ever have to go again I will never use the drive thru again.. The surrounding area is perfect but this is Not the normal quality McDonald's im used to as they don't even have a drink machine in the lobby, the quality you get here is not Good not McDonald's quality, yet it is a brand new McDonald's on a major intersection in Bakersfield. The quality of everything was subpar at best. If you went to this McDonald's one time It will tell you exactly how this place runs their business. So if you are in a pinch and have to go be sure to check your food before you leave the store. If I could give zero stars I would. Every time I go to this location there's something wrong with my order but I keep going back not learning my lesson because this location is right next to the park. The last time I went I asked for extra pickles and the mannerisms and things that were said to me by the STORE MANAGER MIGUEL were ridiculous and insulting. All because I wanted extra pickles on my sandwich which I clearly asked for when I ordered in drive thru. So for me to have to get down from my car and go back into the store TWICE to fix the sandwiches because I didn't get extra pickles is ridiculous. To be given one extra pickle on my sandwich after specifying please I would like a lot is annoying but fine; I'll go back in and ask for more please. To then be given an additional ONE extra pickle after getting attitude and shown that I'm causing an inconvenience to have my order fixed is frustrating. So if I could give this Mcdonald's location a negative 5 stars I would... We live 4 minutes away so despite how many times this location has given us dreadful service the fact that it is literally 4 minutes away most of the time outweighs the service. But this last time was very aggrevating as we had placed a mobile order for pies and coffee (NOT COMPLICATED) and instead of letting us know at the window that they had just dropped pies and would take around 13 minutes they just told us to park and that it would be out in a second- we were on our way to Camarillo for a Funeral Service and we were very much pressed for time. If we would have known that they had just dropped the pies we would have opted to take the coffees and go, but we were Never given that option. I have a lot more to say about the Sooo Many other times that this location has caused me headaches due to the horrific service but for now I will leave it at this one. And also when calling this location to speak to a manager is like pulling teeth, I can Never get through or it goes straight to a mobile voicemail or it just marks a busy signal.
