I can't remember the first time I ever had In-N-Out, but I do know it was in my late teens in the 90s. I'm originally from Delano, so I didn't have this til I was almost an adult. The burgers are definitely superior and it's the freshness and flavor that keeps everyone coming back for more, not to mention those fancy fries with the special sauce on top. I'm not a huge burger fan, but if I want a good burger then this is one of the places that I would go to. What I really love about this place is how happy all the workers are. Staff is always super friendly and very polite and respectful. Don't get discouraged from the long gigantic lines that never go away. The lines are not too bad, it goes pretty quickly. If anything, the lines should give you a reason to come because that right there lets you know everything is fresh. I haven't dined in for a long time, but not a lot has changed in years. They still have that retro look that makes you feel like you're dining in a burger joint from the 50s. read more

What's better than a freshly made, off-the-grill, In-N-Out burger on a Saturday evening? One that's made perfectly right! Mind you we were about to pick up my daughter from her school dance and wanted to get a burger to go so she can eat when she's done so we were on a time crunch. Our usual order is 3 cheeseburgers: 1 extra onion w/ tomato, 1 with onion and tomato, and 1 with onion w/o tomato. We waited patiently and got our order about 12 minutes later and low and behold, all of the burgers came without any tomatoes. Of course, I had to send it back because just look at the burgers....two look so sad without any color. So again, waited patiently for what seems like an eternity. The burgers finally made their final appearance and just comparing the two pictures together, even the lettuce looks greener and more vibrant. Enjoyed my first burger of the new 2024 year, and it was devoured without guilt. We dined inside to eat, which never happens on an In-N-Out run but glad we did because had I used drive thru, I probably would've not taken the time to look through the order and would've been thorough disappointed and pissed. I'm an absulote fan of In N Out. I have been eating these burgers since I could chew food so that's nearly 30 years of coming here. So I might be a bit biased when I say, THE BEST BURGERS EVER. Hit this location up the drive through and waited about 25 min but the wait was abuslotely worth it. It is Black Friday weekend so I expected them to busy. Service was on point per usual. But then again, it's always on point no matter which location or city you are in. That's the great thing about In N Out, CONSISTENCY in there food and service. Went with a double double this time. However, I customized that bad boy. Went with mustard fried, no spread and added mustard instead. Also added raw and whole grilled onions. Hands down, one of THE JUCIEST burgers I have ever had. The whole grilled onions is such a nice touch. The fact that we can customize are burgers and have some fun with it each visit, really makes it special. In and out was giving free meals for veterans on veterans day! I assumed the place would be packed and I was hundo p (one hundred percent for those that on the cool lingo like me with my 12 year old that groans when I try and be cool with the cool words). Although it was packed the staff was really working! The wait wasn't bad at all and it gave me ttime to hang with the other vets I was seeing at the free spots lol. This In n Out is close to our home. It is in a huge plaza that has lots of parking and bicycles can be locked outside within eyesight from inside the building. I always order inside, if weather is OK I eat outside. The best thing to me about In n Out is the simple menu. The line moves quickly and food comes out hot and fresh. The staff is pleasant at this one, they seem to really be happy that you are there. If it is not clean when you enter, it will be soon, as there is almost always someone cleaning. read more

This In-N-Out Burger located in Bakersfield has a drive through and a large indoor seating area. They keep the place clean inside and outside. The bathrooms are kept very clean, it is like maybe they are expecting an inspector to stop by ? They have served yourself for the drinks so if you wanted you could have refills. They also have outdoor seating as well. There are lots of people working here and they are all clean looking as well. The staff is very polite and professional. It pains me to write this review because back in the day this location of In-N-Out was always great. Today we ordered from this location and BOTH our burgers were cold. I asked for just ketchup and mustard and no tomato on my burger and instead was given not just a cold burger but my burger had tomato and spread and no ketchup or mustard. Since we were eating at home I tried to scrape off the spread, removed the tomato and applied ketchup and mustard to my hamburger. BOTH of our fries were cold and stale. I didn't even finish my fries. We couldn't even finish the fries given to us. We asked for peppers. We were given two containers. One container consisted of one pepper and the other container had one pepper and one very small pepper. On a positive note our drinks were correct and had ice, lol. We both said if this was our first experience at In-N-Out, it'd be a one and done. Money doesn't grow on trees so if we specifically pay for something, we would hope to receive it.
