Most sketchiest McDonald I have been since the one at Queen and Spadina. This McDonald is so small that they have no room to even put a self serve machine that they had to put one towards the entrance, by the door. So inconvenient and causing a backlog of people to come in and out. The line up to order was super long that it took forever to even place an order. The people also didn't understand I wanted to use the app and charged me full price. The washrooms are locked and you had to for a key to use it. Even though the washrooms are supposed to be locked, the washrooms are disgusting. Do not recommend to visit this Mcdonald. Avoid at all costs. There are seats and tables but I question the cleaniless. The Mcdonald looks quite rundown. read more

Overall it was a pretty nice McDonald's except the environment. It was in a pretty weird side of Barrie not to be rude to the citizens or anything but there was a bunch of sketchy people surrounding my kids and I. When they were trying to eat their precious happy meals! The staff was amazing, the wait for my food was kind of slow but it's alright we had a lot of food. My Mchicken was dry. I ordered a two cam dine for 7.98$ I am frustrated with the Indian staff auto upgrading my drink from small to medium without ttsnsparently saying. Be careful this location is sneaky. The staff member was not west mcD uniform. This location I have seem a lot of troubling things like non-seeing dogs welcomed into the restaurant to homeless people bathing in the washroom that recently they started requiring buzz in access to the washroom. Its just not a safe location and the order "inflation " does not make it worth coming to this location. This is a good size parking lot. read more

I went to this location last night @ 10:58 pm. I didn't know they were about to close. I ordered 2 meals...was hoping to sit and relax and eat my dinner as Pita Pit and Smokes Poutinery were both closed. The male staff member who took my order informed me that "just an FYI, we a closed in 2 minutes." Then some dark haired girl staff member who looked angry grabbed some keys and ran to the front door and locked it...which took her a long time to do. She was wearing a headset and was complaining the whole time about other patrons in the restaurant. Rough looking people outside were trying to get in, and there were rough looking patrons inside as well. Eventually we got our food, for take-out, and we tried to exit the front door. It was locked and we couldn't get out. Fire Hazard? Are we in jail? This is contrary to the mobility act. Then the angry short darked haired woman with the headset came and played around with the key in the door and let us out....while the rough looking person outside was trying to come in. Wow. THEN I ate the fries on the way home. Cold, with little salt. Awful. When I got home I ate my Big Mac...it was cold. I was VERY hungry so I ate it and I was hoping the next day I would not be sick. hello people just had a realy good story to tell I was at the mcdonalds at 80 barrie view dr in guess were barrie I went in and orderd what I wanted got back to barrie ford ang guess what I was missing one of the burgers that I had orderd so I calld the store talked to the new genral manager told him what happened ice cold fryes and missing burger well all he said we cant have stuff like this happen but to my delight he made a fresh set of fryes and he literly got in is owne car and brought it to me hot / and ready I just cant belive that he went way out of his way to make a customer very happy sorry I did not get his name unreal service if anyone can get a higher score than a 5 he would be at least a 10+ all day long Darcey coyne /at barrie ford read more

McDonald's - #winning - Fast Food Near Me - Barrie, Ontario

I went into this restaurant Friday evening around 8:30pm. I was the only customer at the front counter. There were 4 employees visible at the front counter at the time: 1 had back turned to me making coffee, 2 were standing at the corner of the back counter chatting and filling drive through orders, 1 was waking back and forth between the counter and the drinks dispenser. I stood at that counter for over 1 minute and not once during that entire time was I even acknowledged. It wasn't until I said, "Thanks for the excellent service" and proceeded to walk out did anyone say anything to me. One employee even said, "Thank you". I told him I was being sarcastic. Then one employee pipes up and says, "I'n the only one on cash, I'm just making coffee and I was going to serve you when I was finished here. I then said, "Perhaps you should have said that as soon as I walked in and not after standing here for over a minute. I left the store without placing an order. The blatant drug use in the washrooms is disgusting. You see people with syringes sticking out of back pockets. The druggies prop open the bathroom doors with pieces of cardboard so that they don't have keep going to the front to get the bathroom doors open. The smell of these people as well as the language they used was disgusting. This is a family restaurant. I wouldn't bring my family here if it was the last place on earth. read more

So we got a message back from the Operations Supervisor at the location in question. She addressed our concerns and went out of her way to make up for the issue. She explained to us what also happens sometimes and that odds are it was a piece of meat that broke off on the grill. She also agreed that it should have never been served as it did ruin the meal for us. However she was very nice and went above and beyond to make up for the issue so this is why I am updating with a different rate level. However since returning to this location they have messed up several orders. read more

This McDonalds is the slowest I have ever been to. This morning at 10am (not a busy time usually) there were 4 of us in line, with 3 servers walking around in the back. Anne Marie is usually very slow in taking your order, but was especially slow today. In the end, I walked out. read more

Went through the drive through and bought the big Mac meal. Service was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long.

Mackenzie at the drive in window just made our night. Food was hot and quick and he was super sweet and efficient. Mackenzie is the greatest. 5 stars for Mackenzie! read more

McDonald's - Oh no! He's got the meat! - Fast Food Near Me - Barrie, Ontario

Walked in to get some "fast food" because the drive thru was heavily lined up. Inside there were 3 customers ahead of me who had already placed their orders. Waited roughly 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge me, in that time a gentleman had come in behind me and then left again complaining he hates their poor customer service. Finally I got to place my order. While I'm waiting for my food the one person working on front counter is filling orders for skip/Uber quickly and the drive thru line has been taken care of multiple times. I then try to get the managers attention to see if anyone can help the one person on front counter as he can't seem to manage everything. The manager was extremely rude rolled his eyes at me and said he didn't have time to "deal" with me as he is busy and we are in a pandemic?! Please tell me how being in a pandemic has anything to do with having a second body working the front counter to provide service to people who have walked in. Another customer in the store was baffled on how I was just spoken to by the manager. I have been going to this McDonald's for just over a year now as it is close to my work, not anymore.
