Ordering through the drive thru with a party of 4: Manager was rude and kept asking rudely and when she could not hear her way of asking was totally uncalled for. She also got into it with the order behind us, glad the gentlemen stood up. Customer service from the MANAGER was rude, the other employee, who handed out our order was nicer, on the quieter side but I rather to have that than have someone who didn't have the correct manners address our order. This is the dirtiest McDonald's I've seen in a very long time. There were no clean tables. The floors were filthy. Our order was two quarter pounders and fries and a refresher and it took about 15 minutes to be brought out and they forgot the drink. The burgers looked like the griddle never gets cleaned. I have been to around 50 countries and have never had a worse experience at a McDonald's than this one on Main Street In the heights in Billings, Montana. Truly disgusting food. Absolute SLOP. Waited 20 minutes for ice -cold fries that had absolutely zero crunch. They were gross. Never again. The chicken sandwich (McCrispy) was half -cooked and caused me to convulse for 4 hours straight over the toilet. I'd seriously recommend just going a little farther to the one on wicks or going west through billings to the one on grand....save yourself while you still can. read more

I ordered three drinks and two ice cream cones through the McDonald's mobile app. The line did not move for about 10minutes. To keep from getting trapped in the line I moved to curbside pickup and sat there for about 25 minutes. They brought multiple orders to my car which were not mine. I am not sure how they keep track of things in there but it was not working. I went inside and waited a few minutes with 5-6 people who were waiting on door dash or uber eats or some other delivery service. I finally spoke to somebody at the counter as I saw half of my order sitting on the counter. You could see the mocha frappe was already melted. I needed a Diet Dr. Pepper and two ice cream cones to get out of there. I watched them put my items in a drink carrier and then into a bag. I asked where my ice cream cones were and they had a cardboard bracket in the drink carrier where they stashed them in the bag. Both cones were melting and leaning on the drinks and covered them in ice cream. I understand the whole mobile order and food delivery craze but what about the regular customers standing in the store waiting for around 45 minutes? Why would you put ice cream cones in a drink carrier that is in a bag for a dine-in customer? I have no idea. They are unorganized and in need of a thorough cleaning. Burger was a good. Fries were soft and little salt. Did not receive the drink I ordered. Building and parking lot is impressive. Nice on the inside, and lot is definitely built for speed, while handling multiple orders. Drive-thru has this creepy AI voice. It was not that busy, but the staff seemed super stressed. We went to this McDonald's and ordered a #7, medium fry, and a Dr Pepper freeze. When we got to the second window to pick up our food the worker handed us a blue freeze when we told the worker that this wasn't correct. The worker then told us that the correct one would be with our food and that we need to pull to the front as they were still preparing the food. We pulled to the front and waited for around 10-15 minutes for our food to come out when it did it was missing the Dr Pepper freeze when we tired to tell the worker the worker looked confused and said "oh yeah it's broken" and walked inside. read more

Gal who took our money was very nice. Service ended there. Was told to wait in drive through spaces in the front. They were all full. So we parked in the lot. 10 minutes, no food. I went inside and waited. Watching the employees work was like watching a Three Stooges skit. No organization at all. Manager came out holding two bags and said that was not my order, it was for the white truck. We waited another 8 minutes and finally, food! Never again. This McDonald's is very modernistic! I love the circular booths! The PlayPlace is super cute! It's one of those rubber? PlayPlaces. It looks like it could be from the Flintstones! Plies the customer service there was AMAZING!! The employee who brought us our food was soo sweet and kind and super cute! I can't seem to get orders correct. When you notify them of the mistake, they argue, stating it would be there if they missed it. When the manager is stating that they are right and if i wanted to get my burgers they missed, i must be there in 15 minutes before they close. Obviously, that's impossible, it being the 4th of july. So they can get my address and send me coupons?? Then she had the audacity to pass me off to a different team member, what kind of manager does that. If you're dealing with a customer complaint, you should follow through until the issue is resolved, at least in my 16-year career, that what i always expected to be the correct way to handle things. Spent almost $35. And only got $20 worth of food. FML read more

We just had the worst possible meal to come out that business. We ordered a buttermilk crispy chicken dinner and another buttermilk chicken sandwich. The price on the board said $5.39 but the end price was over $14.00 for the two items. Both sandwiches were "extremely" overcooked, and it was like eating a tough jerky style meat. There was no moisture left in either sandwich. They only had "one drop"(seriously!) of Ranch dressing on the bun as a condiment. This meal was overpriced and overcooked. The long wait time was definitely not worth the disappointing excuse for a meal that we were charged for. We will not be trying any new specialty meals from McDonald's. I went in the drive thru and ordered a Big Mac bundle, a crispy chicken sandwich, a pull apart doughnut. When I got home they forgot my crispy chicken sandwich and doughnut. When I called the manager said they would send me a coupon for a free meal and a pull apart doughnut. Two weeks later I get the coupons and it's only for the sandwiche and a Sunday. I don't eat out much and when I do they always mess up my order and then lie to me on the phone. I wish they would be honest and send the right Couponds instead of being dicks about it. read more

This is probably my least favorite fast food place now. I use to go here 1x a week just to treat myself because I just love the cheese burgers and the Big macs..... but the CS is horrid. I live in Billings heights and we have 2 to choose from. 1 on wicks is always getting the order so wrong or taking forever that you have to park between 2 cones and wait at 8.00 at night when it is not busy. Then they forget your drinks?? Really?? The second one is just so slow but the CS is a bit better. I just can not understand what they do not get when it is suppose to be fast food. The last thing is that last time I went to the one on main st. I ordered a large fry and they gave me the large container but hardly any fries. I am now a fan of a different establishment. I will not go to McDonald's sorry. Sorry tired of being wronged and waiting. read more

This is the 2nd time I've been here and they've helped the other person that came in after me, before me in the drive through. I was told to wait and then the guy behind me reversed, pulled into the other drive through and was helped immediately. Then when I called to report the incident, my call wasnt picked up 3 times. when I finally got through I was called a liar. This reflects your whole company. read more

We were flying back after our trip to Yellowstone, driven 2.5 hours early in the am from Gardiner MT to get to the airport in Billings MT. As United Airlines does not serve any food, we decided to grab a quick breakfast at this location, close to the airport. Extremely busy place, litter in the parking lot, and plenty of flies all over. Flies inside too -disgusting. The tables were not cleaned, sticky and yucky. Screaming, crying kids in the play area. Huge 'help wanted' signs inside !! Your best choice is to use the drive thru, we did not want our kiddos to eat in the rental car, which we had to return at the airport :) One star is for the food - regular McDs breakfast hot and quickly served. I had the worst service I have ever had at McDonalds tonight; I am 58 so that's saying something. I stopped after my grandsons ballgame to grab something quick as it was bedtime and I hadn't had supper. I ordered 2 cheese burgers that are ready at most McDonald's before you reach the second window. I waited 20 minutes; cars pulled up behind me but must have moved to the front of the restaurant. I finally called them on my cell and a manager came to the window and said there had been a large order up front.She said "Oh nobody told you? " but I am sure I saw her look at me from a distance while I was waiting; no sorry or free meal next time or anything. So much for a quick meal so I could get home. Worst experience ever at McDonald's in the Heights almost 20 minutes to get through the drive-thru. I think the person working there knew the people in the vehicle in front of me and they were all laughing and joking . The lane next to me had four vehicles go through it at the same time . I guess I picked the wrong lane . Then when you get up to the window their attitude makes you feel like you're putting them out. We didn't go inside so I can't speak to the cleanliness or noise, but it was just a Monday night and we wanted something quick after getting out of the airport. Doesn't seem fair to me to review a place like McDonald's on the quality of the food unless it is somehow not to corporate standards. I'm local and have several McDonald locations to choose from. The store at 401 Main Street is at best adequate but is generally the least clean of the Billings stores. They are also the slowest to respond to needs for refilling supplies or cleaning spills. read more

I've had an over-all good experience every visit. Food prepared on time with some exceptions due to number of customers being served. Which is understandable. Always has someone cleaning in lobby with a friendly staff to boot. Definitely not the worst McDonalds I've been to. read more
