Before going food shopping, I decided to go through McDonald's drive thru, knowing that the grocery store was going to be packed due to the up coming storm and having anything to eat or drink before leaving this morning. I ordered the sausage egg biscuit with coffee combo, asked for my coffee to be light and sweet. Sandwich came out fresh and good, coffee was not of my liking, I even confirmed when they handed it to me, if it was light and sweet, they stated it was. Coffee tasted like it had no sugar in it and by the color of the coffee, it might of had one creamer in it. read more

I was there a week ago and was asking for a specific happy meal toy and one of the employees went into the back and found it for me in about a min. Went today and the manager was beyond rude with me and said they can't do that. They were not busy at all. I would not recommend. Very unprofessional. This has to be the worse run McDonald's ever. Whoever is managing the kids that work here is laughable. There is always a wait. Even when your the only one at the window the have you pull over. One time I was the last customer waited 15 min for 2 mcchickens now there was 5 people waiting. I go inside and there's mine and everyone else's food on the counter I said can I have my order it's sitting there. The young lady went to grab the order and the young manager a female said with a nasty attitude don't even waste my time we're gonna wait until we can bring everyone's food out. Horrible service, treats you like trash and blames us for how the high schoolers act like it's our fault. They told a man he had to go to the front even though he pressed for table service but apparently when the high schoolers are at the restaurant they have to always go up to the front. I've have been going to the Brodheadsville Pa McDonalds for sometime now,And I have noticed it has been getting worse week by week for the past 2 months.I go in to get my orders and lately it would take close to 10 - 15 minutes for them to take my order and then another 10 minutes to receive it.And the prices have got out of hand.$28 dollars for two meals.So now I've been avoiding going there as much as I can.I don't know if its the employee scheduling causing such a lack of service or the employee's themselves.I go down to Burger King and i'm done ordering and eating my food in less time than McDonalds takes to even get me my order.I think they either need a overhaul or a retraining of management. read more

If you're using the drive-thru, I can't emphasize enough to check, check, and re-check your order. They average around 40% in getting the order correct. Fresh, hot fries are rare..and the soda's tend to be flat. This should never happen during the dinner time rush. Other locations get it right, not this one. read more

Went to the brodheadsville location this morning for breakfast, 630am. Stood at the counter for five minutes while the cook in the back stared at us. A young lady came out from the back to take our order. The latte machine was being cleaned so no coffee. The food was quick but the sandwiches were old and Luke warm. There were French fries on the floor, a hair brush on a table nearby and the table itself had not been cleaned from the day before. Walking but the soda machine, a slough if soda and water remained in the drain bin and a cell phone was charging on the trash can. I use to work at a McDonald's as a kid. Things have changed. Stay away or at least check it out before you buy your food. read more

Only thing less reliable than their drive through is the weather forecast. 50/50 at best they get your order right and they are slow. Fries are usually soggy, not crisp and the burgers are just thrown together with the condiments slopping out the sides. It's a company store, not a franchise so no real onsite management that cares. Worst McDonalds EVER! Used the app to order two meals: Quarter Pounders w/ cheese, FF and large sodas. Must have taken 15 minutes for our order. The old lady with long mouse gray hair forgot our drinks, napkins, ketchup etc. We had to go in. When she was confronted, she just laughed at us and walked away. I went through the drive through yesterday and ordered a 4 piece happy meal with apple slices and and apple juice for my 5 year old son. My son never eats junk food and this was a treat. The woman on the other side stated $6.23 window 1. As I proceeded to window one I was thinking to myself how can a happy meal be over $6.00???. At the window I asked the older lady how much is a happy meal? She proceeded to tell me that I ordered an apple juice which is an up charge???? Really???? Happy meals come with milk for $3.99!!! She said no I'm sorry we up charge it comes with soda. What??? So I told the woman ok just give me any soda, my son has water...that's fine. She then told me the cost of the happy meal was $5.59?!? What, I'm still confused. I have purchased these in the past and never paid this much, not that I mind spending money but at this McDonald's everything is cold and not fresh. You will receive a soda with one piece of ice and the soda will be 3/4 of an inch from the top. McDonald's if you are changing top dollar for food, please make sure the quality of the food reflects top dollar!!! On the flip side I was googling the cost of a happy meal, online it states $3.99. I called a few McDonald's in the area all the way down to Wilkes Barre, PA and the cost of a happy meal were $3.92 to $4.23 tax included, no upcharge for apple juice. I asked for the exact items as in Brodheadsville as I did when I called these places to enquirer. Please that is almost a $2.00 plus difference. This has to be the worse McDonalds in existence. I have been going there for over 10 years and hey might have gotten my order right once or twice. The service is super slow, food is usually cold, fries taste old and I always have to pull up to the yellow line to wait till my order is ready. I was getting my usual hotcake meal almost on a daily basis and they seem to always forget my hash brown. They can't get the coffee creamer and sugar ratio right most of the time.
