Stopped in on a whim during road trip. My husband and I just spotted the sign to this Chick-Gil-Adriving on the small Poconos back roads. We knew it was 4 miles from that exit but we kept saying where the heck is it. Turns out it's closer to Strouds than Tarrywile. We saw it- up on Chick-fil-A hill, we called it., All by itself and we were so relieved when we finally got there. The place is well decaying and looks nice for a chain restaurant. It is very clean. Service was pretty friendly and very prompt. I'd never gotten my food that quickly from a chick fil an ever, and this place was hopping with customers so that says something. The food was cooked perfectly ( not sloppy but well put together and piping hot)and we enjoyed our meal. Only concern was the parking lot. Kinda small and a little worrisome to navigate in and out . Came to this spot during a road trip pit stop. The long was wrapped around the drive thru and i was worried that at first it would be long. Even in the rain, there were 2 employees who are taking orders on the iPad. They even had this really cool plastic safety shelter hoodie. Super cool! She even asked if i wanted to add anything to the order, had special requests or needed to change something. That was nice. The worst was really waiting for the food. The line moved faster than most fast food locations (this chain is a high class fast food restaurant). After going thru the "spot for the talking window" there was another person who confirmed the order so the drop/pickup could be swift and organized. Now the question is did they achieve that? They did!!! Took about 10 mins in total from order to exit. It was just so rainy that the parking lot was annoying to come out of! Excellent staff, friendly and very attentive to delivering orders while customers wait at the tables. We happen to be nearby shopping at kohl's and we got hungry. Walked in with the family found a big table for 8 and had chicken sandwiches, fries and a couple of salads. The restaurant is well kept, the dry thru is extremely busy. RECEIVED ROTTEN FOOD AND GOT FOOD POISONING. purchased over 120$ worth of food that I ended up having to throw away. My family and I ate a couple of the grilled chicken nuggets and a spicy sand-which... we were throwing up and sh****** all night!!!! It was absolutely horrible I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. Managers + corporate would not refund and did not even seem to care. Will never return to this place. I contacted the health department to get it checked out so no one else gets sick. f*** this place... This location during the COVID-19 is only doing curbside pickup and drive thru. We did our order today through there drive thru, which was very busy as usually during lunch time, they had two long lines going into one line to pay, and to pick up your order. With 12-15 cars ahead of us, time frame for ordering , paying and receiving our order took around 8 minutes, which I was pretty impressed, with how busy they were. They had a few workers going through to each car, taking your orders, by asking your name first, contact free, if you needed a menu, they had one available to view. As the two lines of cars merged to one line, you arrived at one gentleman, that took your form of payment, he was wearing gloves and mask, then you drove to pick up window, they would ask your name, order was placed on a contact free tray and brought to your window. So simple and easy, worked great together. Food- sandwiches were fresh, hot Fries- hot, fresh, crispy No complaints- keep up the great work. read more

Chick-Fil-a is always great, delicious chicken and I can't say my experience with the food quality was altered here but typically all staff is friendly and welcoming and yesterday the lady who walked to take order from the cars didn't make the experience pleasant... made us feel like we had to rush, didn't offer us the menu and when we asked for it she held it up and made a remark about not being able to touch it, after every item we ordered would say "that's it?" Located just down the street from the Crossroads Mall, this appeared to be a very new Chick-fil-A location. We stayed in a nearby hotel exactly one year ago and this Chick-fil-A certainly was not here at that time. We stopped in here on Memorial Day for an early lunch and it was thankfully slow inside at that time. The drive thru was a little busier but we wanted to dine inside and only had to wait a few minutes before we placed our order. As we're accustomed to experiencing at various Chick-fil-A locations across the country, the staff were all friendly and very efficient. I went with a spicy chicken deluxe combo with lemonade. Unlike most fast food restaurants which serve you food that looks NOTHING like their posters or TV ads, my sandwich looked like it was prepped for a commercial. Everything was well balanced and assembled with care. It came out piping hot and placed snugly in a cardboard box which was just the right size to keep everything in place. As per the usual, they ask you at the register what sauces/condiments you want and give it to you with a plastic "tower" to carry it in. We grabbed a table and they brought out most of our order at once and without much of a delay. I didn't take long to down my sandwich and waffle fries. Other highlights were just how generally clean and attractive everything was. The men's restroom, too, was well maintained. Even the stands which housed napkins, straws, additional condiments, etc. were very neat. This location represents exactly what I expect from Chick-fil-A and I know we will stop back in the next time we're in the area. read more

The food is always good but the parking lot is always a mess, the drive thru is routinely longer than 30m and they almost always make you search out of spot to wait for the food in the "drive thru". That in and of itself is annoying, but given the overcrowded parking lot it's really a pain to the point I won't come here again unless it's after 8p. read more

As one who loves Chick-fil-A, I am thoroughly disappointed by this one. First let's begin with the long drive through. At 2:00 in the after noon, it took forever to get my food. The second problem occurred when we realized there were no sauces. Okay... it's not totally necessary to enjoy chicken right? Once I finish the fries I get to the 3rd problem. I was a little insulted cause the location by me does Military/ Police / Fire discounts and when I showed my military ID I was told this location does not do military discounts. For curiosity I asked if they police and fire discounts and I was told only police. I said "that's interesting cause I'm all three... military, former fire and currently police." I understand that different Chick-fil-A's could be run differently due to management strategies. But poor customer service is usually not encouraged by management or ownership. My wife and I came here at approximately 10:27 in the morning and ordered breakfast since we had a couple more minutes. The young lady working behind the counter said we had two more minutes to order breakfast. We did order it. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich, and when it came out. She did not realize that there was cheese on it. She requested to have it swapped out with a different breakfast sandwich without cheese. Staff came back and said because it's after 10:30 they can't make her a new one. I remarked even though she ordered it before 10:30 and she's just trying to get her initial order filled? The young lady talk to her manager. The manager said we only have enough breakfast items for the morning and we're all out. I thought it was weirdly very convenient that we ordered the last two breakfast items today. It sounds a lot more like the manager was lying to me and just did not want to prepare any more breakfast items. we would have appreciated more if she would have relayed that there was a strict policy against making any breakfast items after 10:30. while I would disagree with that policy. I probably would not have stopped to write this complaint review. I guess at this Chick-fil-A what the customer wants is secondary to what the staff wants. Not impressed. read more

Typical Chick-Fil-A... awesome! Just found out about the board books for kids 3 and under, such a great idea! Great service, perfect fried chicken. Fries were a bit soggy but that Chick-Fil-A sauce, Yummo! 1pm on Sat, 15min wait to order, another 5 for your order.
