I like going into McDonalds on Coney Island Avenue and Avenue U, but some of the staff is rude, with an attitude, as if they do not want to be there. Waited 15 minutes a cup of tea! This McDonald's is horrible, I ordered food through uber eats. When the food arrived it was extremely cold and the order was missing two meals. I spent alot of money in total and now no one answers the phone for their error. The receipt had the correct items ,but once the bad was ripped open only two meals were there instead of four. So I decided to make Mc Donald's my dinner tonight. I had a rather healthy lunch today and saved my carbs for tonight. Now I don't know about you, but the best thing about Mc.Donald's is their hot and fresh FRENCH fries!!!!! So have a taste for them I stop by and ordered my meal and the cashier was helpful diaspite the long wait she kept the line moving!!! Kudos to her!!! I move to the other line to await my fries and I watch the mangers prepare the fries for distribution and the manger handling the drive thru was very generous with here portions although I think they never open the fry boxes wide enough to give you the actual size you really ordered... any way, back to my issue, the manager handling in store customers was on a mission to deny proper service to the FRENCH fry loving public. He collects sandwiches for my order and then walks over to the FRENCH fry station and picks up a hot basket of fries and throws them in the fry dispenser and at the moment I was like, this guy is my hero tonight! Now here comes my disappointment, he picks up the fry box and opens it as if he is putting a single slice of toast in the box, then picks up the fry scoop tool barely puts any fries in the scoop and shoves it in my box! I could believe my eyes, I was about to see red and almost began to say, excuse me sir, "is that a medium fry?" But my conscience said, stop! You are not that hungry, you don't need all those extra hot crispy, salty and delicious fries!!! My point is when will Mc. Donald's stop ripping people of. We work hard for our money and spending almost $3.00 for fries and getting robbed even before leaving the store is ridiculous!!! So, folks... I am boycotting Mc. Donald's for the fore seeable future! It was around 1130pm and I just got out of the 61 police precinct reporting the theft of my vehicle after eighteen hours of work. I had Burger King the other day, so I decided to walk into McDonald's across the street. I saw the advertisement " Said food for this price " ( no advertising ). I could not wait since was freakishly hungry. In a daze I ordered the " said food " and some nuggets to go. Only did I find out later that I was over charged. I went back to the register to ask why. She replied that I needed to ask for the " said food for this price " deal. Since when are the customers responsible for that ?! I would understand if this was some kind of " friends and family " promotion. But this was no big secret and anyone can fruity read the GIGANTIC sign on the window. Hell, people can even read it backwards. I was seriously pissed off and extremely exhausted after my long day. She did not apologize, offer a refund, or anything else. My nerves were frayed and I remembered that one can not argue with stupid. Do I really need to point out I want the " said food " sales price instead of the regular price? Never in any situation did I need to specify/state " I want to pay the sales price on this item that is clearly indicated in this week's circular instead of the full retail price that you charge everyday. ". Now imagine if everyone had to start informing the business of any deal that they see and want that deal. The fruity register should have also automatically detected the sales ! I'm basically addicted to McDonalds iced coffee. My husband and I make late night runs here all the time at like 12am, at their drive thru, and they're always packed! Its crazy! I have never seen something like this, there are always at least five cars ahead of us, around 20 min wait until the window. I always order a medium iced coffee, no sugar no flavor and skim milk. A while ago they weren't able to understnad no sugar, and every single time my coffee would have sugar. But i'm happy to say that they've been getting my order right! YAY! Gold stars for you! Employees are well mannered and were patience compared to the city ones. Maybe its because they don't experience the rush that the city McDonald workers do.
