a must try mom and pop shop if you're in the williamsburg area! these burgers are seriously juicy and packed with flavor--you'll definitely be coming back for more! the hot honey chicken burger is a must-try, it comes out fresh, hot, and crispy and the bodega burger strikes the perfect balance--packed with flavor but not overly greasy. if you're a hot honey fan, don't sleep on the angry chicken fries --they're next level! don't sleep on their drinks either, when have you ever heard of a hojicha shake? trust me, it's amazing and not overly sweet! menu item features: - nashville hot honey chicken sandwich - the bodega burger - truffle parm fries - angry chicken fries - hojicha shake - yuzu honey lemonade

Bun Haus 194 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NYC @bun.haus Asian inspired American fast food, restaurant quality. Packed out the door. The drinks are phenomenal and refreshing. I ordered the Hojicha shake which was tea flavor towards in all the right way. Creamy. Not too sweet. Perfect. The yuku lemonade was wonderful and I ate the tasty lemon peel. We ordered the seaweed fries. Galore seaweed and yummy. The Amgry chicken fries with Haus sauce were so good. It was a fusion between American poutine and Asian. Good chicken quality here. Seasoned perfectly. Juicy chicken. The Nashville hot chicken wasn't overly spicy. Perfect spice blended with a hint of Asian flavor. The spicy fried chicken deluxe was amazing. Juicy and tasty. Good pickles. All the flavors payed well together. Darren was the best several. So knowledgeable and helpful.

Dropped by this spot to try some of their burgers several months ago. They had a major plumbing issue and have been closed since June. So it's anyone's guess if they'll reopen or the plumbing issue killed their business entirely. They essentially tastes as good as Shake Shack, but with an Asian fusion twist. Hausburger ($8) is your run of the mill burger. The SteakHaus ($12) is unique in itself, made with a 4oz butcher's blend patty, lettuce, tomato, crispy onion, bacon, mushroom, blue cheese, haus steak sauce. I really enjoyed their Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($9), made with Buttermilk fried chicken thigh, lettuce, pickles, Haus sauce. I've also had their Seaweed Garlic Fries ($5,50), which are a must order. For drinks, I tried their Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.50) which is super refreshing. I really hope the business owner will provide some communication soon on what their future holds for the business soon.

Amazing burgers, and don't sleep on the milkshakes! I stumbled upon this new restaurant in search of a quick meal, and what I thought would be just a regular, fast-casual experience actually ended up being a pleasantly surprising and delicious lunch. I ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich, which came with an impressively thick, juicy chicken thigh dusted with pepper seasoning (it reminded me a bit of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, which is one of my faves!). My husband enjoyed his signature SteakHaus burger, which was a great combo with mushrooms, bacon, and bleu cheese. I'm also not typically a milkshake person, but am so glad I tried the hojicha milkshake - I almost finished it in one sitting! Loved the slightly nutty and roasted tea flavor. I also tried my husband's Half & Half yuzu honey lemonade and iced tea, which was so refreshing on a warm day and paired well with the meal. The staff was friendly, and the owner also came by to introduce himself and ask for feedback (which I always appreciate, especially for new businesses). So glad we decided to stop by. Will definitely be back again if I'm in the area!

I tried a couple of their food items and I can honestly say they have a solid menu. With smash burgers being trendy in nyc we've seen the same burger get replicated, Bun Haus they got something new. I love the flavor on their patties and how it was a crispy edge. The bacon beast is no joke. The chopped cheese fries are amazing I love the jalapeños on there. The truffle burger and truffle fries are the perfect combo of truffle flavor. The Nashville hot honey chicken sandwich is savory, juicy, sweet, and spicy. Plus you could taste the spices. The chicken bites are seasoned well and taste good. Can't forget the shakes. The matcha shake is just right and the hot cocoa shake is different in a good way. The space is a good size and you get those mom and pop vibes which I love. The service is on point and everything comes out in a good amount of time. I would definitely come back.

Saw this on TikTok while ago and wanted to try it out. Came here to catch up with a friend. They're known for the smash burgers, but I'm a sucker for spicy chicken. So that's what I got with the seaweed garlic fries. The chicken sandwich was okay and the fries were great. Ended up spending around $16. Probably should have gotten the smash burger. I'll be back to try it. Chill place to get a quick bite.

Dropped by Bun Haus (IG: bun.haus) in BK and left seriously full and happy. This spot knows how to do comfort food right, with a little extra flair. The Crispy Oklahoma burger had the perfect crunch, and the Truffle Maker was packed with rich, savory flavor. We couldn't skip the cheese fries--total must--and the ube milkshake was such a fun, sweet finish. It's got that cozy, mom-and-pop energy, but the food feels fresh and thoughtful. Great little local gem if you're in the neighborhood.

The burger place in BK Williamsburg has finally reopened! I've been wanting to try it for a while, and it is opened by a Michelin chef! The Kimcheez burger has soft, sweet buns with layers of kimchi, ham, egg, cheese, and beef--it's a powerhouse of energy, a perfect Korean-American fusion . The Angry Chicken Fries serve up both fried chicken and fries! The chicken is super tender and juicy, seasoned with a slightly spicy, slightly sweet flavor that's really addictive! You must try their shakes! They have great Asian flavors like matcha, ube, and hojicha. I ordered the hojicha one, and it was so smooth and sweet, like drinking ice cream. Pairing it with the spicy chicken was perfect! Such a happy meal .

Check out the newly opened bun.haus for some delicious burgers, fries, and shakes! The burgers are delicious and also huge, their portion sizes are really big. Alot of the food has Asian fusion in them. For instance, there is a kimchi burger. Their prices are also really good and the same price or even more affordable than Shake Shack. The portion sizes here are also bigger than Shake Shack. All the burgers are $7-$11. And the shakes are $6, while soda and lemonade are $3-$4. My favorite burger that I tried was the classic Haus burger. You can also replace the patties for an impossible burger if you're vegetarian. I like how when I went it wasn't too crowded and the food comes out pretty quickly within 5-10 minutes. The aesthetic is minimalistic/modern. This place is a modern fast casual place. Places like this are a much better alternative than McDonalds. Price:$7-11

If you love classics, you'll love it here! At Bun Haus, we tried the pretzel dog and chocolate milkshake. The pretzel dog was more than the classic New York staple. The bread was glossy, soft, and chewy, and the sausage was perfectly seasoned and fresh. With the caramelized onions, it made the greatest pairing. The mix was slightly sweet, slightly oniony, and overall tasty. The milkshake was just as appealing. There was a rich chocolate taste, smooth texture, cool temperature, and sweetness all around. I think what made the experience so much memorable was the place. It was cozy and bright. Paired with the meal, it was perfect.

Nice little spot on Bedford Ave. The service was great and the food was great too. The prices were great too. Come here if you're on a budget. Everyone was friendly and I got my food right away.

Nestled among the bustling streets of Williamsburg, Bun Haus is a gem that truly stands out. I couldn't resist trying their fried chicken sandwich- bursting with juicy goodness and satisfying crunch, all sandwiched between the softest potato buns, the portion was incredibly generous too! And their fries? Crispy yet chewy, perfectly seasoned, and so addictive that even my friend's adorable baby couldn't resist sneaking a few bites. If you're ever looking to win over a kid's heart, these fries are the way to go! I didn't get a photo of the fries as they disappeared in seconds! I only wish I lived closer to Bun Haus. Trust me, this is the spot to satisfy those cravings! The staff and owner were also extremely patient and helpful, they helped me to navigate the menu and gave me great suggestions as I couldn't decide as everything looks fantastic - I can't wait to come back for more !

We were thrilled to find two seats at the end of the bar when we arrived. As luck would have it, the two gentlemen next to us eventually left, allowing us to slide over and enjoy an even better view of the TV for the rest of the game. I started with a Tito's and club soda, but unfortunately, something seemed off--perhaps the club soda was flat. The drink just wasn't good. To their credit, the bartender took it back without hesitation and was very accommodating. I then ordered a Negroni after the woman sitting next to us highly recommended it. I don't usually drink gin, but this cocktail was absolutely delicious and changed my mind. Since we were there for several hours, we shared an order of zucchini and eggplant chips and happily snacked on them throughout the game. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a nice mix of ages and people enjoying the evening. We made sure to leave our bartender a generous tip since we occupied our seats for the entire game. Even though the Knicks didn't pull out a win that night, we certainly didn't leave defeated. I'd happily return for another game, cocktail, and fun evening out. And maybe even get dinner there. Little did I know there was another big room in the ack once you past the restrooms. They were having a thriving business there!

He was constantly busy zippin around but maintained a nice demeanor and made everyone feel welcome! Must orders of mine: the burger! Although small, it comes out piping hot and the fresh white onion between the bottom bun and burger is awesome because it doesn't make the bottom bun soggy and catches all the juices from the actual meat. Love subbing the fries for a Caesar salad! Standout appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki-- crispy, hot, juicy and I get it every time!

The…read morepull apart truffle monkey bread was our initial reason for coming, and although the price point was quite steep, I would say it's worth the try. The bread was fluffy and not dry, which I had seen previous reviews say before. Paired with the creamy truffle butter, it had a luxurious mouthfeel. My favorite was the pork chop (cognac, sweet prunes, bacon, rosemary) -- the sweet and soft texture of the prune was melted in my mouth like fat, and the pork was tender, with the rosemary also coming through. The vodka rigatoni was a skip, somewhat bland and one-note, we ended up putting some of the truffle butter and garlic aioli from the fries to make it more flavorful. This was especially in contrast with the spicy shrimp pasta which was much tastier. Also got the strawberry vacherin (strawberry ice cream, meringue, vanilla whipped cream), it was my first time having this dessert. The tartness of the strawberry was great with the fluffy meringue and the sweet ice cream. Service was extremely attentive, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with moody lighting. Although the space was packed, it didn't feel too loud or crowded. We spent about two hours and didn't feel rushed.

I went on a Thursday night, and the place was absolutely packed. The front feels more like a bar/casual area, while the dining room is tucked toward the back. My reservation was at 10:15 PM, so I actually had a light dinner beforehand and ordered a little lighter than I normally would. I got: - Truffle Monkey Bread ($34.99) - Prime Rib French Dip ($39.99) - Pommes Frites ($13.99) - Banana Split Sundae ($24.99) I thought the prices were definitely on the higher end when I first sat down, but the Truffle Monkey Bread is divine! Honestly, it's probably in my top 3 bread experiences of my life. If you love truffle, butter, cheese, and basically everything good in life, please get this. It comes out slightly warm and is just incredible. I will probably dream about this bread. The French Dip was good, although it was a little too salty for me. If I get the chance to come back, I'd probably try one of their actual steaks instead. The pommes frites were super crispy, basically McDonald's fries but elevated. The Banana Split Sundae was so pretty. I loved how they placed all the little treats around the crevices/imprints of the dish (not sure how else to describe it ). It's huge, though, so definitely don't expect to finish it yourself. I'd recommend sharing it with 3+ people. I was also celebrating an anniversary, and they brought out a strawberry scoop for us. It tasted homemade and really fresh. I could actually see pieces of strawberry in it, which I loved. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, and getting a dinner reservation can be a struggle, but I'd absolutely go again if I got the chance. The decor is cozy and upscale, the food was excellent, and the whole place has a really nice atmosphere. My only real complaint was that our waitress kept pushing us to order more, which got a little annoying, especially since we had already ordered quite a bit. Overall: expensive + difficult reservation, but absolutely worth trying. And please get the truffle monkey bread.
