I stopped by Brooklyn Burgers & Beer during a work trip to quell a burger craving. Menu looked promising but unfortunately it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me. read more

Great big burgers with a good amount of seating. This is the perfect spot to come by to watch a sports game but I came during lunch and they have an amazing lunch special that allows you to customize a burger with a side of fries. After my diabolical 7th Street Burger faux pas a few minutes ago, I had to switch gears totally and revamp my lunch today. My friend was as turned off as me due to what happened (read my previous review) and he headed for the proverbial "Hills". This left me solo and hungry. I started walking northwest knowing I'd find something pretty good. Low and behold Brooklyn Burger and Beer looked like just what I wanted, so I walked in, grabbed a stool at the bar and jumped into their menu. What a difference a 1/2 mile makes! Came here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately. It wasn't super crowded but they were busy. There is a nice full bar and obviously a good selection of beers. No problems with the beverages all had a good pour. Service was fantastic the bus boy and waiter were interchangeable, just awesome. Everyone was nice and seem genuinely interested in making sure you had a good and great meal. This is the best type of burger joint. It is build your burger which is the best to me. The main reason we came is because some people dont eat beef. This place had several proteins to choose from. There was a good selection of all types of toppings. My only complaint was the burger i order was more well done than medium but meat was so succulent and tender it was still good. A+ I do recommend!!! read more

Been meaning to try the spot on my list and I was beyond satisfied with everything. The service 10/10 our waiter and the whole staff was so friendly and welcoming and accommodating. The ambiance is casual neat and clean good for groups, outdoor seating as well. I started with the mozzarella stix very good cheese pull, nice coating. The b&b flavored wings are a must every time probably some of the best wings I've had to date, fresh, nice crisp, and the sauce was 10/10. I tried the 3 sliders. I got a beef, turkey, and pork. The turkey slider really stole my heart with avocado gouda cheese and arugula amazing. The pork slider in second nice thick cut belly and pickled onions, and last but not least the beef slider also very good. This place did not disappoint and I will be returning. read more

Would more realistically give a 3.5, but rounding up as there wasn't anything particularly wrong with my meal here. My partner and I came during happy hour for a round of beer along with sharing the burger that was on the happy hour menu. If I remember correctly, it was the Texas Smash Burger which had chili and chips on it and was about $10. It was okay, personally I felt the bread to meat ratio was a bit off - but I do see the potential here. I'd consider coming back to try a different burger that's more in line with my tastes. I ordered online to be delivered to my house. I have been eying this place for the longest time, given that I live in the neighborhood. I really had high expectations based on photos and reviews I've seen. When I pass by the restaurant, there's always a good amount of customers dining in. I ordered a giant pretzel, kids mozzarella sticks with French fries, beef sliders with tater tots, build your own bison burger with American cheese, Applewood bacon and a order of truffle mac & cheese. The giant pretzel was bland it barely had any salt on it. It did not come with the side of cheese sauce and whole grain mustard, as mentioned. The beef sliders were just ok. We did not like the bison burger. The toothpick was placed inside the burger instead on top of the bun. The bun was overly toasted to our liking. So it was a bit hard. The fries barely had any truffle. Moving on to the mac and cheese. For $10, it was served in a little cup. It had no flavor what's so ever. We were not impressed. The only one who seemed to enjoy their meal was my son. He ate the mozzarella sticks with fries. I can only base this review on takeout. Had we dined in, I would not know if it would make a difference. We were left disappointed given that we had high expectations of this restaurant. Came here after a chill warm day in prospect park. We needed to pick a restaurant with outdoor seating to accommodate our puppy friend, and this place had plenty of space. Starting off with the drink selection, B&B has really good beers on tap, a decent wine selection, and some nice cocktails too. As for the food - it is absolutely stellar. I got the three sliders option and opted for 2 regular burgers and one crispy pork belly slider. The burgers were delicious and juicy, and the pork belly was amazingly fatty and crunchy. I also stole some of my friend's tater tots which were nice too. Service was good as well especially given how packed they were and that we were outside on the corner. People who know me know that I appreciate/LOVE a good deal!! This burger spot has GREAT burger combos near the Atlantic Barclay train station ESPECIALLY IN THIS TIME OF INFLATION! Burger and side combos range from $17 to $21. The sides are great and offer variety from tater tots, sweet potato fries, onion rings, Nathan's corn dog nuggets , side salad, five mac and cheese balls, and even spinach. The premium sides that come at an additional surcharge are things like truffle parm loaded fries. It's cool because for the side, u can even ask them to season it with old bay or Cajun seasoning for free. Loved the vibe. It's a GREAT DATE PLACE. BEERS are good. Service is great. The only weird thing was my dates beef patty was a lot smaller than mine and was about 1/3 smaller than the bun. Maybe it's because of the fresh ingredients but just a general food quality comment. Meal was tasty regardless as my date scarfed it down. we both enjoyed our experience. All in all, I would come again. My favorite burger in Brooklyn! Too many places sell smash burgers. I love a juicy, thick burger. Brooklyn Burger's standard patty is 8oz (1/2lb) and is grilled to juicy perfection. Their lunch special might be one of the best in Brooklyn. You get a half pound burger, fries or tots and a cookie for $15, dine-in only. They get their grass fed beef fresh from a local butcher shop. Their service is the best, and they also have great sauces. This is a pretty low key spot, and good for a casual lunch by yourself or with a friend. so sad i missed the tues-fri 4-6pm happy hour...got there at 6pm sharp but decided to give it a try anyways!! they had a good variety of beers, fairly priced. we ordered a draft of the Ebbs, and 2 burgers that came with sides came out to ~$63 for two after tip+tax. the Buffalo burger was absolutely amazing, juicy and sour just like wings in a burger. the buns were toasted and not soggy despite all the juice explosion. The mac and cheese bites (included side) were delicious as well - cheesy, juicy, not too salty either! and just cripsy enough. the classic burger did not disappoint either. these burgers so big i struggled to take a bite...prepare to get messy. a solid burger indeed. the bacon + truffle fries (+$2 fancy side) was not worth the additional cost, in my opinion. It seemed like you get the same amount of fries with the regular fries option, and the toppings did not add much, especially because the burgers are so juicy and flavorful already. After hitting up the Park Slope farmers market, I stopped in to get some lunch. I picked a brunch cocktail: a blood orange Mimosa, very tasty but weird glass. Since I've never been here before, I wanted to try a few things, and decided to go with the three slider option. I picked the Pulled Pork Slider, the Beef Slider and one Turkey Slider. The Turkey wasn't my favorite but the garlic aioli was bomb. The beef slider was really good, loved the thick cut bacon and the grilled onions on it. My favorite was the pulled pork slider. The pork itself was really good and the slaw on the slider made it a perfect bite. I went with the tater tots as my side to round the meal out. Definitely a good choice! The only thing that kind of bothered me, was one of the servers was a little too much. He wasn't even my waiter but he would not leave me or any of the other tables in the restaurant alone. Some crazy construction of a burger that I can't even devour in one bite. Was content to see they offer a lunch special that allows you to customize your burger and a cookie at the end. We also ordered their sticky wings that were good but definitely not worth the hefty price. Overall, I would come back again for a good quality filled burger that's succulent and tasty. The ambiance is relaxing with nice decor. Love their outdoor setup and bar seating. Tater tots were definitely one of my favorite as the side dish. Loved our visit to B&B last night. I'm rating this visit four stars because of the wait time. Although our waiter was on top of our meal and drinks, there was a significant wait time with a 90 minute limit on the table. We definitely would have gotten more drinks and maybe dessert if our order was taken right when we sat down & if our drink orders were refilled immediately/cleared immediately. Came by this bustling burger bar during the Rona times. We walked by many times out front and its on a nice fenced off street and always seems to be the busiest people on the block. We waited about 45 min for our table of 2. The servers had gloves and everything felt very clean although it was a paper menu so there's room for improvement when it comes to preventing the spread. That being said the food was awesome! The beers were 7-8 dollars and a good pour. The burgers came with a ton of onion rings! I was impressed because i was expecting like 4-5 but there was a mountain of solid rings. I ate the mexican hat burger. They warn you of it being spicy but its nothing :P. You get the strong japaleno taste which is grand without the the burn of the seeds. The guacamole on the burger is great but it felt like a second thought, it didnt match well with the other toppings on the burger. My partner had the mac n cheese burger and she loved it.
