I ordered a chopped cheese sandwich, onion rings and waffle fries & it's the best sandwich I've had in awhile! It's a mom and pop shop and I'd highly recommend to anyone who loves themselves a juicy sandwich! They also provide homemade chips which were very crispy and flavorful to each order The service was great! the staff was very friendly and I'd love to come back!

Lunch date with Hubs @bklynbeefncheese and had a chance to chat with Jesse! Wings, cheese steak and the roast beef with cheese (did not make the photo shoot) were amazing! If you haven't been to @bklynbeefncheese you should check them out!

Tried the OG chop cheese (steak, melted cheddar, onions, signature sauce, garlic bread - we opted out of the lettuce this time). Didn't really taste any garlic in the bread but overall tasty, hearty and filling, enough for me to share with my husband. The tater tots were also crispy and satisfying. Service was good but it's more of a takeout place. Would come back again.

I just stopped in for a quick bite and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend coming here to try it out so many delicious things. I got the OG Chicken and the chimmichurri cheese steak. I can't wait to come back and try some different items. The service was great and quick too.

Fresh baguette for a huge classic cheesesteak sandwich. Service was attentive, fast and the food was tasty, good temperature, and a great portion! They have a couple or long tables outside with shade, you can sit with your dog

4.5 stars Our favorites: - spicy beef - Smokey sweet bbq beef Both were spicy and delicious The grilled chicken caprese salad was good too The portions are HUGE. Each cheesesteak could feed 2 people. it was buy 3 get 1 free which made it even more worth it Would go back!

What they call a chopped cheese on a hero, not even toasted and the smallest portion of meat in a chopped, ever!

I ordered their $17 chopped cheese with the smallest portion of meat I've ever come across in a sandwich. The bread was not even toasted but at least had a good flavor to it. Once I posted it to my instagram stories they ended up blocking me instead of making it right. Stay clear of this place! They'll load of the sandwiches for "influencers" but not the locals.

Food was filling and tasted delicious. I would go back again. Service was excellent. Really polite.

I pass this place daily, zoomin' by I'd see Philadelphia something. The video gave a full explanation and why I need to put Philadelphia Grille in my lunch rotation. Walking inside, I know what I want. Steak with white american cheese with the works (onions, peppers, and hot peppers) There's an option for mayo, I'm not sure who's getting mayo on their cheesesteak but hey, you do you! The owner comes to the front and I tell him I saw this spot on social media. Everything looks amazing, I can't wait to try my sandwich. How long have you been in business? I'm expecting 18 months, he tells me over 30 years?? Wow! Not only is Philadelphia Grille a sandwich shop but they're also serving pizza for decades. I must point out, Philadelphia Grille is a very small spot. Walking inside, you're faced with a small counter. Once you have your food, they have tables and chairs in a covered lanai. I'd be a chilly Billy eating my sandwich so I took it to go. Once I get back to my Brooklyn Fortress of Solitude I dig in. The cheesesteak my way? Dynamite. Italian bread from Brooklyn wrapping up a cheesy meat fest. Philadelphia Grille did everything right in Brooklyn! I can't wait to come back and try the roast pork. And then mix it up the following week with a grilled chicken sammy.

The fries were a bit too much old bay so probably could have done without those. The wings and cheesesteak were excellent! They didn't skimp on the meat for the cheesesteak and the bread was perfect. Allow me to put it in perspective, this is gas station food on steroids. Located in Red Hook (and all it takes is to go outside and see you are in Red Hook), this nondescript bodega serves up one heck of a sandwich that will have you thinking, did I just eat that? This is not your ordinary New York bodega, this is the shop of General Ock, who sells various sandwiches in his renowned Ocky Way. So what is the Ocky Way? The Ocky Way is not just a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and onions, it is also about presentation and style. The sandwich is made loudly with a flair for the dramatic, from the time your food hits the flat top to when it is center cut and put in a clamshell container. What about the food? It really is pretty good! I got the Chopped Cheese the Ocky Way and it was something I really enjoyed. I recommend you get it with the Jamaican Patty as that is what makes the flavors work best. You can also do it with a waffle or pancake or whatever bread you like. All you have to do is scarf it down. You can also put your own toppings on your sandwich if you want for an extra premium à la Farmer in the Deli style. Farmer in the Deli is another well known bodega in Fort Greene, known for finely chopping their meat into a sandwich, one I highly recommend as well. Even after writing this review, I still cannot believe what I ate here. Before I finish this review, I have to say one more thing. Neva neva neva forget to get a drink with your order!

Fedoroff's is great but pricey, and I remembered Olde City wasn't bad the last time I had it years ago, so I trekked in. Mistake. I should have stayed home. Garlic Parm wings were big and well-sauced, but when I bit in I found they were a bit drier than other wings I've had. And $19 for a plate of wings seems high. Italian fries were the same story - seasoned well, but tough. Nothing like the great ones at Yankee Stadium. When I get tough food I always wonder if they served me reheated leftovers from yesterday. For the cheesesteak, I ordered the "Authentic" which is supposed to come with your choice of cheese (Whiz/American/Provolone/Cooper Sharp/Ghost pepper jack); but I absentmindedly forgot to specify my choice and the server didn't ask me. It was only when the food came and I saw the Whiz when I realized. I would have appreciated a prompt so that I could have gotten Cooper Sharp. It was his first day so maybe he didn't know better. There was another server behind the bar who he was training under. I will give the servers props for giving me the combo price without me asking for it ($18 for cheesesteak, fries, and soda/water). But overall, stuff could have been better. The place was dead. I was one of three people in there but still felt ignored. There's a lot of TVs and a lot of beer options so I can see it being a good place to drink and watch a game. But the food is just ok. Very different than what I remembered.
